Connells were amazing throughout seemed to be the only party at times to have my best interest. Charlie in particular was amazing reaching out and offering tons of support, especially when a buyer pulled out (again no fault of Connells) the had a new buyer within a week. Couldn’t recommend them enough and big thank you again to not only Charlie but the whole team.
5th Aug 2026 (8 weeks ago)We were very impressed with Davis Tate. We looked at many properties in the area around Wantage to rent and found Davis Tate to be very helpful, professional and friendly. Dominic was really great with us as we didn't know the area very well at all. Suzie very helpful when finalising the rental agreement. I would recommend Davis Tate.
12th Sep 2026 (15 days ago)I had a viewing arranged by Millie who was very helpful. However someone else later called to cancel the viewing and told me someone would call to rearrange. Nobody called. Then the sales department didn't answer the phone or reply to my messages for the whole week. (I left 2 voicemail messages and spoke 3 times with the lettings department.) I finally left a message complaining and asking if it would be ok to contact the vendor directly. I was then called the following day with some excuse that the vendor is no longer selling the property or something, I didn't really fully understand it, and frankly by this time I didn't even care because I would not want to even consider buying the property unless it was listed with a more professional agent.<br>I have never experienced such a frustrating interaction with an estate agent, and I would not recommend anyone to deal with the sales department of Allen and Harris of Didcot unless they like wasting time.

The booking, registration and finally application went incredibly smooth. Really enjoyed our experience thus far<br><br>Special thanks to Louise as well for patiently dealing with our questions late in the day too!

7th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)After minimal success with our first Agent in selling our house, we chose to move to 'James Gesner Estate agents' due to their knowledge of Wallingford and the surrounding area and specifically one area. Having the team represent our sale, and then to find us a property in the area we were looking to move, I would comment that James and the team were exceptional. The data (marketing report) that they provide against the sales element was informative, the viewings that they conducted, were very professional and the correspondence was always relevant, and always available. James is very knowledgeable where it matters and worked tirelessly in supporting both the house sale and purchase, and I felt that he really went above and beyond in providing a great service and doesn't seem to switch off by providing updates whilst in Mexico. James Gesner Estate Agency will certainly be first on my list for any House sales/Letting.
