29th Jun 2026 (30 days ago)I contacted David Hill to enquire about a quotation for a survey and to understand what his service included. Throughout our correspondence, I repeatedly asked a straightforward question about the cost of the survey. Rather than receiving a clear quotation, I was sent several very long emails that were difficult to follow and often did not answer my question directly.<br><br>Much of the correspondence focused on qualifications, court experience and a copy of his CV, rather than providing a direct answer to my request for a quotation.<br><br>As a prospective client, I made it clear that there was no urgency and that he could take whatever time he needed to prepare a quote. I also provided the information requested about the property. Despite this, the conversation became increasingly confrontational.<br><br>I was particularly disappointed by comments such as telling me to "educate yourself", suggesting that I was wasting his time, and eventually asking me never to contact him again. I found this surprising and unprofessional, especially as I was simply carrying out due diligence before committing to a significant purchase.<br><br>I cannot comment on the quality of his surveying work because I did not instruct him. However, based on my experience, I found the communication to be dismissive, unnecessarily confrontational, and lacking the professionalism I would expect when making an initial enquiry.
8th Mar 2026 (20 weeks ago)Our initial contact was James and was hugely positive. From James we progressed to and were helped by Katherine, Holly and Grace before being assisted by George. From the point of sale on, we were almost exclusively in Claire’s capable hands and she was our contact through completion. Our first experience with R M English was in 2008. Its happy outcome then was our justification for using them again and this one too has been a pleasant experience. Thank you all.

Tailored and catered to your needs. Everything checked and in order with the landlords so as a tenant you get to rent good properties that are well maintained with correct certificates for all appliances/gas etc. I would highly recommend there services to renters/prospective landlords buyers and sellers. 9th Sep 2025 (10 mo. ago)After looking around our property Lisa, confidently told us she could sell it quickly. All I can say is that from that initial meeting to the actual completion of our sale Lisa was on top of everything and did what she promised. Its a rare thing to actually become fond of your estate agent but with Lisa we did. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is thinking of selling their property.

Joanna has been so incredibly helpful, supportive and professional throughout the process. I am extremely impressed with the service, in a world where so many companies really fall short in this area, Jorys estates are one of the few who go the extra mile and will do anything to help their customers. They’ve made the whole experience so much more enjoyable and easy. I’d highly recommend working with them!
