    Trilogy in partnership with Burns & Webber sold me a property off plan in Godalming. They really sold me the dream. The show flat was impeccable and they talked of a really special, high quality build. Fast forward close to 8 months (on a build that I was told was 2-3 months from complete), and after more lies and missed deadlines than I can count, I finally got the keys this week. The flat is basically uninhabitable, the list of incomplete work and snags is extensive and there are genuine health and safety issues too. The finish in general is frankly poor, and not anywhere near the quality that I was promised. I have basically been homeless for the last 2 months because of the missed deadlines, and it looks like that will continue a while longer while I argue with the Developers to try to get the flat close to something that is acceptable. Just avoid Trilogy altogether is my advice. Start to finish, the experience has been dreadful.... Read more

    I had the misfortune to be a tenant in one of the properties now let by DBLS. I had lived there happily for 5 years before they took over the letting contract. Within 1 year I was evicted with 8 weeks notice. This was through no wrong doing in my behalf but because they decided they could get a higher rent with a new tenant. They had tried to increase my rent by 20% in the December, to this I pointed out that the flat was riddled with damp and that an increase of this amount to a good tenant at that particular time of year was unfair - they agreed to a 5% increase. However a situation was quickly manufactured by the owner of DBLS which triggered the eviction - when I confronted him about this there was no denial regarding his actions. My family and I had months of utter hell and it was all due to this company. So, if you are an unscrupulous landlord looking for tenants that you can screw over DBLS are your company. If you are a tenant looking for a property - don’t touch them with a barge pole!... Read more
