17th Mar 2026 (9 days ago)I’d like to commend Mark Price, the Cornwall division Branch Manager for managing a complex purchase admirably. As the buyer, Mark assisted with great communication between myself, his clients and all stakeholders - this was vital in helping to ensure the purchase completed as smoothly as was possible. Certainly if/when I chose to sell the house I have just purchased, my first preference will be to use Mark and the Jackson-Stops team based in Truro.

7th Mar 2026 (19 days ago)Bought a property through your move Camborne, felt the process went really well from viewing through to moving in, went a little start/stop at times after submitting our info through the your move nominated system, but probably all part of the buying process, shout out to Rebecca who showed us the property initially to Beth (negotiator) who did her part of the job well unlike another agent we had been let down by, then finally moved on to Sam morse the profession manager who also kept us up to speed when needed, thanks guys

Our process was not without stress however Nicola, Mandy and team always kept positive and reassuring vibes going throughout. Thank you ladies for all of you're help. 15th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)From start to finish, Clive Pearce Property were attentive, supportive and helpful, from arranging a lengthy second viewing (as were were relocating from 300 miles away) to being supportive when our own sale fell through and we had to remarket and indeed in helping to resolve some of the legal issues that arose during the conveyancing. It is hard to imagine they could have done more. Every member of the team was very pleasant and helpful; communication was excellent throughout.

6th Mar 2026 (20 days ago)I have just used Chambers Sales and Lettings of Stubbington, Hill Head & Lee on the Solent to sell a house at a distance. Mr Chambers and Shannon Beasley went above and beyond from carrying out viewing's to giving me feedback i did not know i needed, until i realized i did! Shannon also took the time to listen to me and answer questions which enabled me to think through decisions. This support made all the difference and removed what could have been stressful, to becoming manageable. Their communication was excellent by phone and Email. They clearly had really good systems in place and knew the local market well. I would rate them the Best Estate Agent on the South Coast. Would i use them again? Yes 100% They were worth every penny of their fee.

The whole team are professional, honest and ensure your move is everything you require. You are treated as an individual not just a number and they offer support and guidance at every step of your move. We were so thankful we chose Christopher's to market our home for sale and were also marketing the property that became our new home. From the moment we met Helen we knew that they were a perfect match for us. Thank you once again.
19th Mar 2026 (7 days ago)I recently moved into a rental property where Laskowski are the current letting agents and can confirm that the service to facilitate the move has been great. Laskowski are using modern systems to manage all documentation electronically and hard copy where required and have provided prompt responses to any queries. The processing of any paperwork has been efficient with Lyndsey and Millie dealing any additional questions professionally with great communication. I would recommend this company.

Professional and patient they helped smooth the whole process including communications between sellers' and buyers' legal teams. Great service from our perspective.
5th Aug 2025 (7 mo. ago)I wouldn’t even give this agency one star, as they seem to think students are easy targets to scam. My daughter and two of her friends rented a place from them last year, and it was in an awful condition. When we received the keys, the house was dirty from top to bottom — the toilet even had human waste in it. The bathroom was mouldy, and the kitchen counter, cooker, and extractor fan were greasy. There were also significant damp issues in the living room. We took photos and contacted Townsend before the girls actually moved in. In response, Townsend told my daughter and her friends that the house had been professionally cleaned, but when we came back, we saw that very little had changed. My daughter and her friends ended up cleaning the property themselves just to make it liveable. We even had to purchase a new lampshade for my daughter’s room because the old one was covered in dust, and she suffers from allergies.The damp issue in the living room was never resolved, but the girls made the house more livable and turned it into a home. We noticed that whenever a problem with the property arose, despite many email conversations, Townsend were very reluctant to act and their responses were extremely slow. For example, the garden fence fell down in November 2024, and the next-door neighbour was very aggressive about it. Yet, Townsend couldn’t get anyone to fix it before January 2025. When the girls decided to move into different accommodation, they left the property much cleaner than it had been when they received it. They expected to receive the deposit within 8 days of returning the keys to Townsend. However, Townsend came up with an excuse, claiming to have found crumbs on the kitchen counter and a single strand of hair, and told the girls they would each be charged £90 for professional cleaning. When we shared the before-and-after photos, Townsend still insisted on charging the amount and is continuing to withhold the deposit to this day. After reading some of the other reviews here, it’s clear that they particularly target students and impose extortionate cleaning charges with no evidence to justify them. Furthermore, the check-in and check-out reports of the property are not comparable, as the former report is very general whilst the latter was very specific. For Townsend to use photos of dirty areas at check out as proof that the property had been left in a worse condition to when the tenants moved in, they would need to show the same area spotless, at check in - no such photos exist. The unclean areas indicated at check out will have been in this state since before the tenancy started. Further to Townsend's rebuttal, I have included some of the original photos taken immediately after the "professional" cleaning.

21st Mar 2026 (5 days ago)What can I say about James other than he’s fantastic! I started this process nervously, wary of sales people and not sure I wanted to sell my house! I went to look at a property full of nerves and not sure if I was doing the right thing. James was gentle caring and was genuinely interested in why I was looking. At no point did he give me the oh so familiar sales patter and just guided me through the viewing. Based on the viewing I quickly realised he was the best person to sell my house and looked no where else. James has held my hand throughout the process of selling and buying my house with honesty , integrity and understanding. He is no longer just our estate agent, he has become a valued friend. I could not have done this without him. He went above and beyond to support my needs and showed patience throughout when I asked lots of potentially daft questions! I would without hesitation recommend him and have to friend's . This process is stressful and anxiety provoking, James’s self awareness , knowledge and honesty made this journey so much easier and I am so grateful to him for his dedication and kindness throughout and to his lovely wife for letting us share him when he should have been enjoying a holiday! A true professional and now a dear friend , thank you !
