Shari lead our process and was fundamental in making the process as smooth as possible, even when changes occurred or plans changed. Shari worked with both sell & buy side solicitors to speed up the process and make sure everyone was happy.
4th Jan 2024 (15 weeks ago)DO NOT RECOMMEND After living 7 years in a property, questmap has tried to keep our deposit to make a refurbishment on our account. Glad we have won a dispute with DPS. Obviously, wear and in tear after 7 years is significant, but trying to earn on your loyal tenants is low. I will never recommend the agency to any of my friends again. Agent Nick was very disrespectful, sometimes rude and left very bitter after effect. I have never in my life felt so upset after speaking to a person. DO NOT RECOMMEND

No proper feedback on viewings and when requested a price decrease on line it wasn’t actioned on the first request then actioned on the second but got the price wrong. Not a great start

In this respect, Franklin Allan are a breath of effectual fresh air. Jason comes to the table with his integrity in tact, along with his respectful, professional duty, just an amazing human being. Jasons unwavering stamina and calm professional manner gets the negotiations sorted and the sale done. Steadfast in his approach. So, I have no hesitation in recommending himself and his amazing team, who worked tirelessly to achieve a timely outcome. Thank you Franklin Allan.

19th Apr 2024 (1 day ago)Henshaw Fox was not an agent known to me and their premises are not on the main shopping street of the town BUT they are all very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They kept us in the loop at all times even when we away from home. They quickly had all marketing completed for on line sites and photos available.
25th Mar 2024 (26 days ago)Michael was very helpful at the introduction. We chose A&W over three other local agents. However, things went drastically wrong after that. The photography (a 'professional' photographer in a tearing hurry) was very poor; lots of overexposure, and failed to actually capture the relevant features (eg stools chopped in half at breakfast bar, missed a feature wall, and had to be called back from the road for missing photos). When the Particulars were sent the photos were unsatisfactory. A&W said they would correct this, but when particulars were resent - they sent the same photos even though we had discussed and approved other photos for use - including some that we took ourselves, to supplement the poor ones. There appears to be little communication between the staff, and even less with the clients. As a result we decided not to continue with this agent having lost faith: if they couldn't even get the particulars right, what sort of service would they be able to provide further down the line? Would not recommend.
17th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!

They acted for us with care and integrity, and went the extra mile on many occasions to ensure good communication between parties. The team were responsive and kind, and provided valuable advice at various points. An outstanding service.

27th Mar 2024 (24 days ago)In the past few months, I tried to buy a property through an agent. I sent many emails but got no replies. When I called, they always said the property was already sold. Even when I saw a listing on Rightmove and called them, they said I couldn't view it and would have to wait over two weeks. This hasn't just been my experience, but also that of my friends. They say the staff are not helpful, especially with arranging viewings. It seems they don't want buyers to see properties, and it takes too long to schedule a viewing. This service is not acceptable, and I can't recommend the company.

Viewers even before we went online, offers within the first week, superb negotiation, even better negotiation after the results of the buyers survey (!). Great after sale care. Excellent value for money- saved us many thousands during the renegotiations in fact. Put our needs first. Cannot recommend highly enough. 10/10

13th Dec 2023 (18 weeks ago)Avoid these people at all cost, our family has been on property for 3 month now. We have 2 small children and nothing gets repaired, the shower doesn't work properly the washing machine is draining into buckets among several other issues that affect our daily life unfortunately we still have 9 more month to go.
19th Jun 2020 (3 years ago)Terrible service, from people who are not attentive and do not care. had to sell the house privately and then then went legal for a fee they did not earn, as they had taken the house off rightmove etc and did not keep in contact with the buyer, lawyers or anyone. Lesson is to read the fine details of estate agents contracts
