18th Mar 2024 (9 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Their professionalism, service, attentiveness, responsiveness and attention to detail is more than I ever thought I'd get from them as letting agents. They put in effort with viewings and found a great tenant for my house. I'd advise any landlord going with them. There is a reason why they have the best Google reviews of any lettings agent in Stevenage!

Jack listened to what we were looking for and a few weeks later, phoned to say I found the ideal property for you, and he had. We were then treated to the full Russell Killner Estate Agents treatment, apart from the necessary checks they did everything for us. Nothing is too much trouble for Russell or Jack and I have no problem recommending them Very, Very Impressed. Good luck to you both, keep doing what you’re doing and have a Happy New Year.

Ensum Brown were super helpful and lovely to deal with (especially Sarah Leach) and helped us get lots of questions answered quicker than our solicitor. Would recommend and use again in the future!
8th May 2024 (8 mo. ago)I was impressed and grateful for the excellent service I received from Phil. I was a first-time buyer and he guided me patiently through the process, getting answers to my many questions often much quicker than my solicitor. He always seemed organised and his communication was clear and timely on the phone, email and Whats App - whichever you prefer. As a buyer, I felt he was honest and fair to both me and the sellers. He was friendly and chatty but not at all pushy. I would 100% recommend Phil and Hancock's Estates.

From start to finish they were very helpful and created an attractive, professional presentation of the property. They handled viewings efficiently and communicated well once we had accepted an offer and were moving through the chain. If I had a property to buy or sell in their area I would definitely use them again.

9th Dec 2024 (5 weeks ago)The most unprofessional property agents ever! They are rubbish at pretty much everything they do. No help from them at all and the amount of distress and anxiety they cause is shocking. They don't follow or instruct their landlords on how to maintain septic tanks and they are in breach of the general binding rules set out for proper septic tank care or the safe disposal of septic waste. How they sleep at night is beyond me. I've been served a section 21 twice within 6 months because they are rubbish and have intentionally sabotaged us with a bad reference, so we can't move anyway. What a joke!! They are also professional liars and experts in illegal evictions.
