The most disgraceful customer experience I have had the misfortune to come across. A viewing arranged for 10am.... arrive at the house to find no one there. Call MICHAEL Graham’s office to be asked to wait outside the house and they will be back in touch.... 2 and a half hours later they still have not got back to us. Good job I didn’t stay waiting outside someone’s house....
If I was the seller I would be extremely annoyed that I had just missed out on a potential sale especially whilst the market is not very buoyant!!
We have used Lovetts as our Managing Agents for over 10 years. They have always gone that extra mile to help the tenants out when required and always keeping us fully informed of what is taking place., ensuring our property was well looked after. We have recently had an accidental fire at one of our properties, Lovetts were with us every step of the way in assisting us, advising us and exceeded expectations. I would definitely recommend Lovetts.
Lovett's have some of the best properties on the market, which they are perfectly happy to rent to you. After this point, don't expect too much from them. I rented a property with them for nearly 4 years and it was just one problem after another to which they are consistently rubbish at rectifying. After you've signed a contract their lack of attention to detail is second to none - when there's a problem or you need something from them, they don't log conversations/correspondences properly which makes it a nightmare when trying to deal with simple matters. They seem woefully incompetent as an estate agency/management company. I would certainly recommend running a mile in the opposite direction if you come across one of their properties on Rightmove...

Barry and the team at Mather were invaluable in selling our house. Without Barry helping to construct and manage the chain for us and our buyer I'm not sure that in a tough property market it would have happened at all. We would recommend Mather without hesitation, it really was a much better experience than we could have hoped for. It was nice to deal with people we trust and who were so helpful along the way.
We are utterly appalled with Mather Marshall, the staff are not communicated with one another, lie to you, are arrogant, rude and unhelpful. The service we received in the 6 months with them was disgusting. Their telephone manner is terrible and their emails are petty and dim-witted (if you even get hold of anyone)!
We were homeless (which they knew) they took their time to put through our paperwork and ‘misplaced it’ several times. We had to chase them countless times in a day never able to get hold of the correct member of staff, it got worse when it was coming to the end of our tenancy.
Being first time renters we were unsure of our end date and what the processes were, we went to the agency and spoke to one of the staff members and was told to put it in writing. To which we did and looked to find our new property due to the end date being close. We didn’t receive a response so stopped by again and was told a different end date, our hands were tied with another property which the move in date was set. Again I chased for a response and several days later we were issued another end date via email.
We are a young couple, messed around with, looked down on and totally exploited by this agency. Now left to pay for 2 properties at once which I can tell you is not cheap on our wages! All the while the staff are not interested in helping us get our deposit back faster, then suggesting out of their ‘good will’ they bring it forward (this never happened)! Yet they were more than happy to mess us around with short notice viewings, cancellations and nuisance emails not even spelling names correctly.
I imagine the landlord did not know the situation or true circumstances of their tenants, as I feel they would have wanted to get 2 rent payments for the one month and not leave the property vacant for over a month. I do not blame them! In fact I feel sorry they are just as exploited by them as we are! That and they spitefully deduct money from the deposit due to us being on their case. Anyone looking to go with this agency! Please do not do it to yourself, they are only interested in money and do not look to make things easier or cheaper for you as their tenants. Do not even deserve one star!
Mather Marshall please do not embarrass yourselves by writing a petty response back to this like you have with other honest reviews. We do not want to contact you or speak to you regarding this matter you are a waste of time and energy, and we know this is only for the site, not for real help regarding what we have been through. STILL PAYING FOR THIS PROPERTY TILL TODAY! BEEN OUT OF IT FOR OVER 3 MONTHS. MATHER MARSHALL ARE A SCAM! REMEMBER TO GET AN EXACT END DATE IF YOU ARE GOING WITH THIS AGENCY OR YOU WILL BE PAYING FOR IT MONTHS AFTER YOU HAVE LEFT. Also please do not be fooled by some of these high scoring reviews, Louise Styles is an agent at this office! As if they do not cheat enough .. they feel the need to cheat on their reviews ....

Unhelpful, didn't bother responding to emails, and were completely unwilling to try arrange a convenient time for me to view a property I wanted to buy.
Leysbrook have been an absolute god send, helping me with honest and professional advice during a tough time with another local estate agency. Simon is extremely knowledge and his experience shows in the advice and guidance that he gives.
Though I have not directly brought a property with Leysbrook (YET) I certainly will be calling Simon in the new year to help me find the perfect property and recommending him to friends and family.

Leysbrook does a great job of managing my rental property. The team there are very reliable, attentive and quick to get in touch if there are any issues. Finding reliable tenants is getting harder - but not with Leysbrook at the helm - they made it a seamless process.
