11th Sep 2026 (14 days ago)Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience.<br><br>I had a viewing booked for today at 4:40 PM. I arrived around 4:30 PM and waited outside for approximately 30 minutes, but nobody showed up.<br><br>I then went to the office to find out what was going on. The staff there called the person who was apparently supposed to be handling the viewing, only to be told that there was no viewing booked for me today.<br><br>What makes this even more frustrating is that I had already spoken to them about this viewing beforehand, and I also received a call from them this morning confirming that my viewing was at 4:40 PM today.<br><br>So I travelled there, waited outside for half an hour, and then had to go to their office myself just to be told that apparently there was no appointment. This was a complete waste of my time and extremely frustrating.<br><br>If you can’t manage your own viewing appointments or communicate properly with customers, at least have the professionalism to let people know rather than making them travel and stand outside waiting for someone who isn’t coming.<br><br>Very poor communication, organisation and customer service. I would seriously think twice before dealing with this company.

They were not particularly proactive, communication was poor at times, and the service felt quite old-fashioned and outdated compared with what I would expect from a modern property company. The weekend staff in particular could also benefit from some training in basic customer service.

From the outset, communication was prompt, clear, and consistent, and we were kept well informed throughout the entire process. They were always at hand by phone and email. The local office very useful to be able to pop in when needed. Our first meeting with Lyndsay was for the valuation. It was far more than just putting a price on the property, she took the time to understand our needs and provided thoughtful, informed advice about the process ahead. Her approach struck a balance between profession and a personal touch. Elaine was equally helpful, always quick to respond and offer reassurance when needed. With young children and pets, coordinating viewings could have been challenging, but the team made it easy. They worked with us to create a schedule that suited our routines and always provided plenty of notice. The photos and floorplan were handled by a professional photographer who did an excellent job with both the photography and floorplan. We were very pleased with how the property was presented. Communication was one of the standout aspects of the experience. We received regular updates on viewings, and all materials were reviewed with us first. The team were considerate in choosing how to communicate, using email when appropriate and picking up the phone when needed. They liaised efficiently with all parties involved and helped ensure a smooth process. Most importantly, we felt genuinely supported by a team that listened, guided us thoughtfully, and remained fully engaged from start to finish. No impersonal web portal, just real people, ready to help. The house sold quickly, and we couldn’t be happier with the way NEST handled the sale.
