15th Oct 2024 (8 weeks ago)I recently rented and sold a flat with bridgfords Washington and unfortunately I’ve been left very disappointed with the service provided. Bridgfords were noticeably more expensive than competitors (I.e. 40% premium on other estate agents) and the service provided when selling the flat was poor overall. When I’d call their offices I would either not be able to get through or would be promised a callback which wouldn’t materialise which was very frustrating. The sale of my flat took 10 months with no chain and it realistically shouldn’t have taken anywhere near this long. A lot of the delays were caused by unresponsiveness either by bridgfords or by their recommended solicitors (which were also unresponsive and expensive compared to competitors). This poor service was disappointing and could have largely been avoided. Without emails/calls chasing there were weeks which would pass when nothing progressed. I was advised by bridgfords to end tenancy (2 months notice) as I was under the impression that completion was imminent, after tenants moved out the flat was empty for nearly 2 months which increased unnecessary costs of owning the vacant flat. Unfortunately at this stage I wouldn’t recommend using bridgfords.

Ours ended up being a really difficult move that went on much longer than it should have, and Tracey, Leanne and the team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were supportive, proactive, patient, and they really did go above and beyond. Thank you!

She helped guide & advise us until we had a buyer. She is an absolute asset to Sarah Mains & goes over and beyond. Kelly was brilliant also once we had a buyer, she kept on top of everything, verifying/acknowledging/negotiationing on my behalf, simply great. Thank you Jane our progresser what can I say, simply remarkable, a very similar person to myself, I can not give Jane enough credit for her outstanding tenacity, patience & sheer determination to getting to the bottom of things & finally helping us get over the line. Donna once again thank you for helping me too. All the team have been remarkable a huge credit to Sarah Mains, Well done ???? Todays our moving in day and we are both grateful, elated & relieved ???? Huge Thank You

20th May 2024 (6 mo. ago)BP Auctions have been anything BUT easy to work with. We’ve been chasing for updates on the sale of our property for weeks with no response. Every time we manage to speak to someone on the phone, we’re promised a call back that never happens. No one responds via email, and the whole process has been painfully slow from start to finish.
27th Oct 2024 (6 weeks ago)Initially we had not planned to market until Spring; but then a property which we loved but which had sold, unexpectedly came back on the market. We approached Kirsty and explained the situation. As if by magic, she attended the very next day and managed to assess and value, take photos, do the write up, have it live on her website and even on Rightmove-all in the same day. We received an immediate offer (property unseen) and, with further viewings the next day and more viewings right up until best and final offer day, communication from Kirsty/Ailsa and team was always fantastic. We even had out of hours emails to keep us updated (I don't think those guys sleep!!!). We ultimately didn't get the house we'd wanted as the agent selling that property was terrible. The comparison between the two agents has only served to fuel our opinion of how good Kirsty Hodgson's team are. Thanks guys!!!! (A proper thank you will be forthcoming on completion).
