19th Aug 2024 (8 mo. ago)Dixons were great from start to finish. We were first time buyers and very anxious stepping into the unknown with buying our first house. The team supported us throughout and no question was a stupid question. When our first property wasn’t progressing, due to the sellers, they were straight on the phone as soon as they found a suitable alternative property which met our needs. We managed to view before it went on the market and had the offer accepted within a few days. I could not recommend Dixons any higher. Big thanks to Christine and the entire team for their continued support and help with buying our first home.

17th Apr 2025 (10 days ago)Our experience with this estate agent was utterly disappointing. Upon completion it soon became apparent why we received so many emails and calls as the sale was in progress, as an attempt to simply get a property off their books, regardless of what the buyer was then going to experience. The property in effect was a "pup" and had multiple major flaws that could only be uncovered once moving in. Kitchen handles falling off, light switches loose, kitchen and bathroom were not even sealed around the "key" wet areas, coupled with utterly lazy plumbing using flexi pipe when then was clear access to the pipes, just because the developer couldn't be bothered to solder joints. Then to top it all off, our lounge ceiling collapsed on day 3 of moving into the property, caused by a bathroom leak, which 2 separate expert plumbers had said had been leaking in excess of 6 months. This means both the agents and the developers were aware of such issues, yet proceeding with the sale to us. Buyers beware of any problems with a property post sale as this estate agent simply wont be interested as they have had their commission so onto the next sale.
18th Jan 2025 (14 weeks ago)Overall average, agent understood urge to move and sell and overpriced the property and did not communicate with us weekly or fortnightly as stated in contract. Had to contact agent, also due to lack of interest they did two viewings for people who were not even on the market yet. Staff were pleasant and were charming enough, maybe due to the state of the market and interest rate rise this will have factored into the reason they could not sell the property, however lack of communication and plan of action lead us to take off the market with them.

7th Nov 2024 (24 weeks ago)Professional yet friendly from start to finish. Britt attended very well prepared to value our property, and we felt very confident handing to AP Morgan to sell. Photos were taken promptly and were of high quality. We sold within a week which was fantastic! Tammy then worked tirelessly to coordinate the large chain and due to her efforts the chain remained together and we were successful in completing. Communication was managed well and updates delivered in a sensitive manner at all times. Thank you all at AP Morgan, especially Tammy. Would definitely instruct AP Morgan again.

4th Apr 2025 (23 days ago)I had called Shipways to enquire about a property for sale and was booked into view on the same day and managed to make an offer straight away. I then requested Shipways came to value my own property as I wanted to keep everything under one roof. Ethan went above and beyond with answering all of my questions about the market and pricing. He also ran through all the different marketing packages and features they offer to help make a decision which suited me best. I couldn’t thank Shipways enough for getting me sold as quickly as they did but for also helping me secure the property. Would definitely use again.

Their communication has been excellent, ensuring we had all facts and queries immediately, and didnt shy aware from our queries. Nikki worked extremely hard, especially as at times it was a complicated chain, but still she was positive, proactive and didn't hide away. Thank you so much for all your help ladies. 100% would recommend you both.

Always very quick to respond to queries and issues, reliable and were never overbearing. Overall a very pleasant renting experience through Hayden Estates.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Every time we manage to speak to someone on the phone, we’re promised a call back that never happens. No one responds via email, and the whole process has been painfully slow from start to finish.
9th Apr 2025 (18 days ago)10/10. We put our house on the market with Charlie after meeting him at a house viewing. We cannot speak highly enough about him. His personable nature and strategic approach to selling our house was miles ahead of other agents at valuations we had. 100% would recommend.

After we rented a house throw them our property manager is Thea Meek who.s fantastic,verry helpfull,she have good customer service and always verry kind! Since we moved we got some issues and she was verry happy to help,verry quick in resolving the problems and easy to deal with her! Good job guys and thank you verry much!
