10th Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)Beware of this Estate Agency - Specifically check before proceeding with an offer or purchase through G Herbert Banks, if they are aware of any active AG TAG attached to a property they are actively marketing for sale (be it with or without a Certificate of Lawfulness) it might save you a lot of money, time, effort and heartache in the long run.
15th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Shelley provided us with an excellent service from start to finish. We had a property that was relatively easy to sell, but slightly complicated by the fact it was going through probate. Clear communication with potential buyers ensured that there were no slip ups with a slightly longer than usual sale process. We could have appointed other agents for a lower fee, but I think the coverage and marketing from Knight Frank ensured we maximised the sale price and even after any additional agent fees we likely received the best price we could. Also good work from Giselle the sales progressor in seeing it all over the line.
19th Aug 2024 (27 days ago)Dixons were great from start to finish. We were first time buyers and very anxious stepping into the unknown with buying our first house. The team supported us throughout and no question was a stupid question. When our first property wasn’t progressing, due to the sellers, they were straight on the phone as soon as they found a suitable alternative property which met our needs. We managed to view before it went on the market and had the offer accepted within a few days. I could not recommend Dixons any higher. Big thanks to Christine and the entire team for their continued support and help with buying our first home.

The house was in a bit of a mess as my mother had been ill for some time before her death. Sasha was so kind and patient with me as I was feeling very overwhelmed at the time. She gave me advice on what I did and did not need to with my mother's property in order to get it ready for sale. She gave the best guide on when to begin marketing the property. The best guide price and showed me similar properties, so that I had a good idea on the price guide. From then onwards Sasha and the Kidderminster team have been absolutely brilliant. Guiding me all the way with regards offers and viewings on the property. It's been a long journey due to probate delays. But Sasha and her team have kept me upto date. Despite through no one's fault two sale offers falling through. They continued to market my property with same energy as they did right at the very beginning. Which is rare as often you can get left behind. I am so grateful for the professionalism Connels have shown me through the sale of my late mother's property.
30th Aug 2024 (16 days ago)I booked in with shipways to come and value my house unfortunately due to bereavement I e mailed to cancel as it was a bank holiday, conformation of my email came back and said it was cancelled. I also asked them not to call me I would contact them as I was under a lot of stress unfortunately they didn’t communicate this so I was was called a further 5 times, each time I told them not to call me again. 1 star for poor communication. How can I trust them to sell my house if they can’t follow a simple request. The same guy called me 3 times.

15th Aug 2024 (4 weeks ago)I cannot recommend Free Agent enough! We sold our house with Free Agent in April after having an awful experience with Connels. We were under time pressure as we were moving location and Daniel, Chanelle and the team were incredible! From the first meeting with Daniel where he honestly valued my house and showed me what else was going in the market, he gave me a lot of background knowledge and made me feel at ease straight away. Daniel and Chanelle then came to do the photos and videos of my property and they were outstanding! I loved the fact that Free Agent do a video for social media as it is very current and properties get much more interest this way! Within 24 hours of my house going on the market, I had 5 viewings booked it! It was insane! My house went online on the Thursday and sold the following a Tuesday! It was previously up with Connels and I had no viewings for 6 weeks! Even once my sale had been confirmed, Chanelle’s communication was second to none. She would regularly send me messages to see if I needed anything from her or if she needed to chase the sellers for anything. Communication was outstanding. As we have now moved down south, we unfortunately won’t get to use Free Agent again but I would use them again in a heart beat and would recommend to anyone selling their house!!

My house purchase and sale did not go smoothly - as part of a chain of 6 I do believe that, without EmDot leading the communication and negotiating between all parties, the chain would have fallen apart. I can not recommend them enough, Kate & Rachael went above and beyond what you would expect from any normal estate agents and I would 100% use them again.

5th Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
