We tried 2 other agents before settling on Hunters. The staff at Wetherby always went the extra mile. We had a difficulties within the chain with poor communication from our buyers and their solicitor but Charlotte and Kate went above and beyond to ensure that our sale went through as smoothly as possible and kept us in the loop at all times.
We highly recommend Hunters.
Selling a house while we were overseas is obviously much more difficult for any estate agent. However, my choice of Yorkshire Homes proved to be absolutely excellent. House was sold within an month and a price which was realistic for the property. The agents themselves were always polite and efficient, they kept me informed at every stage and provided excellent feedback from viewers. I have not hesitation in recommending Y Homes to anyone selling or buying a home!
My house wasn't the easiest to sell being a fixer upper however Y homes took care of it all. It doesn't even matter who u speak to as I dealt with a few members of staff and they all did what was expected and often beyond. Excellent service, must be I never leave reviews ????????
I'm leaving a 5 star review for Fraser Papprill. I needed to put my mother's property on the market to pay for nursing care home costs, unfortunately. At a time when this matter is particularly sensitive Fraser has been considerate and professional in his dealings with me and kept me up to date with feedback and marketing analysis. I'm pleased to have the sale of my mother's property in Fraser's capable hands.
Shocking customer experience from start to finish. Rude and abnoxus staff especially after we had completed and they had got their money. Constantly felt like they were working hard for the buyer but not for me the seller. They need to remember who pays their comission. Next time I will be going through an online estate agent so I can manage it myself so I get the best deal for me the seller not the buyer, not to mention saving a fortune in commission at the same time. Estate agents don't like the rise of online estate agents but we service like this they can't complain. If they want to stop customers going online they need to provide a service worthy of their commission. If not estate agents on the high street will be a thing of the past!!
Churchills was very enthusiastic initially, but then with fewer and fewer viewing appeared to lose interest. In retrospect I realise they could have suggested several things to make the flat more attractive, for example painting throughout and work on the shower and tiles. After 7 months I transferred to another agent which takes a more strategic approach, including suggesting the improvements described above.
We sold our house with Redmove and found their service to be faultless. They were very responsive to any queries and handled the sale with great efficiency and patience, particularly as there was a delay on our part. Would definitely recommend and would use again
booked a viewing but the agent never turned up. Not until I called them up they told me they have no keys? Such a waste of time!
I have been with Quantum in a managed property for around two years and I'm pleased to say that overall I've had a really strong experience with them. They have operated with good communication, professionalism and a willingness to assist tenants and make them feel valued, whilst also acting on the landlord's behalf. Hazel has recently been nothing short of brilliant in what is a difficult time for everyone, going above and beyond to provide assistance where possible. I would certainly recommend Quantum Estate Agency to anyone interested in property within the York area.
