15th Nov 2024 (22 weeks ago)We had a fantastic experience with Hunter French. From the initial visit by John, through to completion, the whole team were supportive, friendly and extremely professional. We dealt mainly with Ryan and Tom, who were superb, but all of the team made us feel welcome whenever we called in. Would absolutely recommend without hesitation.
30th Oct 2024 (25 weeks ago)We recently sold our property and brought our ongoing property with Davies and Davies and the experience could not have been more different from our previous experiences with another local agency. The communication with regards to the chain was always very clear and regular, when we experienced stress (cause by other solicitors not our own) Toby in particular went over and above to help resolve the situation and minimise any delay to our completion date. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Toby and his team to friends and family and I personally would never use any other agency. However since they helped us find our forever home I can’t see us needing to. Thank you to all the team!!

Dean Speer gave me good advice about what needed to be done to make the unit more marketable and Jonathan Colquhoun liaised with the new tenants and made the whole process run smoothly. Well done M and M!
16th Oct 2022 (2 years ago)Pitch at the start to make us choose them was good. From the time we signed it was awful. Communication was non existent, never called to promote properties to us which means they didn’t do this for ours to others. We had to rewrite and reorder the advert to ensure it was correct. Don’t have premium service with rightmove to make properties stand out. Only 2 viewings in 12 weeks when other properties in the area were selling in days. I wouldn’t recommend this agent to anyone!

5th Nov 2024 (24 weeks ago)We can't thank Rio, Yoanna, and Matt at Hamptons enough for their incredible support during what could have been a very stressful experience. The day before our move-in, our original landlord unexpectedly withdrew from the agreement, leaving us in a difficult spot. The team at Hamptons went above and beyond to secure us an alternative flat quickly and seamlessly. Their professionalism, dedication, and genuine care for our situation made all the difference, and we were able to move with minimal disruption. If you're looking for a team that truly puts their clients first, we highly recommend Hamptons in Bath. We’re very grateful for their hard work and couldn’t have asked for a better outcome - our new flat is amazing!

Neave especially needs a mention for her ongoing patience as I had many questions throughout. Thanks to Steve also, for his great negotiation skills. I would highly recommend using Allen and Harris.

All of our interactions with the staff have been positive, and Claire made us feel welcome in Frome and renting the property easy. I would highly recommend to rent your property from them, or if you are a landlord to use them! ????

Emma has come in as the new manager, taken these on and has turned the situation around in 24 hours. Emma is an exceptional agent. She is extremely professional, experienced, really quick to respond and take action. We would highly recommend using her. Hetti goes above and beyond and has been fantastic at keeping us updated. It's been a difficult period but we now once again feel excited at the prospect of our sale and purchase going through and feel in very capable hands. Thank you
28th Mar 2025 (23 days ago)We had had our house on the market for nearly two years before instructing Salisbury Strutt & Parker who were our third agent over that time period. From the start, the Strutt and Parker team showed a palpable energy and enthusiasm for the property, which most agents do at the start, but unusually this was carried unfaltering all the way through to the completion of the sale. Strutt and Parker's terms were the same as other agents, yet they were on the phone to us communicating every detail and updating us of every thing we needed to know. They were responsive, always contactable and staff made extensive efforts to really understand the property and it's value and features. Best of all was the personal approach, Nick Ingle was happy to chat, give advice and reassure at any time of day and especially through the sale process (where most agents have moved their attention onto their next sale). I can't fault how much chasing, communicating with other parties, updating and creating solutions to issues along the way that the Strutt and Parker team did. I have bought and sold many properties in my lifetime, but their service was an example to other estate agents who shelved efforts after 6 weeks (realising it wasn't an easy sell) and stopped communicating or marketing the property. When you're paying a five-figure sum to an agent, service like we received from George, Nick and the team seems like very good value. The team were instrumental in facilitating offer to completion in just over 7 weeks saving us from the additional stamp duty rise. I can't recommend them enough.

Dan was superb from start to finish: professional, responsive, supportive and considerate, with a rare blend of sensitivity and realism, plus an unparalleled knowledge of the local area and the market. This is expertise and service of the highest calibre, and at every point throughout the purchase/sale, which involved negotiation and liaison with a number of stakeholders. Dan managed it all brilliantly. A shout out too to Julia and to Amanda, whose kindness and empathy were of particular note during the process. If you are considering buying or selling property in the area, go to Boatwrights! Jules negotiated an unexpectedly good sale price for my house and, with the additional support of Nicola at the Whitfields office to progress the sale, really helped keep everything on track. Both buyer and seller are treated with respect and honesty and there is regular communication with both parties right through to completion.
