Already booked the day off so fuming at the complete dis regard of this outfit. Completely unprofessional and extremely arrogant in my opinion!!!! Lesson learned!!!

2nd Jan 2026 (20 weeks ago)Be warned this company is really bad takes deposits and makes excuses up not to proceed and to keep holding deposits along with taking a deposit and when partner admitted she had previous credit issues they tried to say it was not declared when it was and have proof of this. I will be doing full media coverage about this company on tiktok and Facebook so I will upload all proof what I am saying and then you will know not to use Drummonds at all if you are a Tennant or a landlord. I will update a link later today to show evidence and full correspondence from colin drummond of Billingham. Thanks for reading

They always responded quickly to different requests and their communication was excellent throughout. Particular thanks to Rob, who was friendly and helpful at all times. Would recommend!

From start to finish, they were incredibly helpful, professional, and genuinely respectful. Nothing was ever too much trouble—they returned our calls promptly, answered every single question with clarity and patience, and made the whole process feel effortless. Their communication was exceptional, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything was arranged perfectly for our property viewing. It’s rare to come across such a dedicated and attentive team, and their support really made a difference. We couldn’t be more pleased with the service we received and would highly recommend them to anyone. Truly first-class service.
25th Jul 2018 (7 years ago)Honestly, if I could lower the stars any further, I would. These guys are absolutely terrible. They threatened my tenants with harassment, told me the property wasn’t damaged when it was (they hadn’t been to see it). They then tried to rent it damaged (severely) for four months before they rented it. The new tenants then informed me durectly about the damage and I had to get it fixed. they then ripped me off upon exit of contract due to their breach Every tenant I had complained about their service and poor communication. It took a month to find out the tenants were having issues at some points. Do not go with these guys as you just get ripped off, lose rental return and end up managing it yourself regardless. I have since had to take them to court for the losses.

From the very first interaction, they demonstrated professionalism at its absolute best. As first-time buyers who were completely new to the mortgage process, we honestly didn’t know where to begin but the team made everything so easy and stress-free for us. Right from the property search, they took the time to truly understand what we were looking for and guided us every step of the way. They didn’t just show us homes; they went above and beyond by helping us connect with trusted solicitors and mortgage advisers, which made the entire journey feel seamless and well-supported. What really stood out was their communication. We were kept in the loop throughout the entire process with regular updates, which gave us great peace of mind. It’s not easy buying a home in a new country, but Rachel and Andrea made us feel completely at ease. They were incredibly patient, answering all our questions (and we had many!), and never once made us feel like a burden. We truly appreciated their support during the negotiation stage they helped us agree on a price that worked for us, and we couldn’t be happier with both the house and the lovely area we now call home. 9th Apr 2026 (6 weeks ago)I was impressed with the initial meeting with Colleen who valued the property. She was knowledgeable,punctual ,a great communicator and efficient. I was extremely happy with Clare who throughout the process was always efficient ,friendly,supportive and conscientious .She replied to and resolved any queries promptly.The communication about viewings was very good and we were reminded about viewings the day before. I was very disappointed by the Sales Progressor who was difficult to speak to ,worked short hours and failed to contact us promptly causing difficulty and additional stress.

When Tony came to do the initial valuation it was immediately apparent that we were in the hands of a professional, and his clear, candid and pragmatic advice has been invaluable throughout the process, ultimately helping us get a sale price we were very happy with. The entire team were extremely helpful and always quick to respond to any communication, especially Demi who helped keep things on track with the sale progression. The app to monitor progression was also very useful, and helped us feel in the in the loop with where things were at all the way through the process. AJP go above and beyond and we would certainly use their services again in future should we ever need it!
23rd Apr 2026 (27 days ago)Generally a good experience. Took us 11 months to sell but the market was very slow. Initial communication, house description and photos were good. They kept in touch regularly and suggested different approaches. Sales progression process didn’t seem to add a lot as it often just duplicated information from the solicitor.

20th Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)I wish I had instructed Paul to sell my property initially because it had languished with 2 well known agents for Months without any sensible sale plan/updates. Paul offered straight talking, no nonsense advice. We had an offer within days of the viewings. Go with an agent who is as committed as you are to sell and will add valuable insight to the process. You won't be disappointed with Paul.
14th May 2026 (6 days ago)Speaking as a seller, the service from Harvey Brooks was professional and productive, in that a buyer was already on the books and looking for a house like ours. This was great. Selling can be a painful and frustrating business but HB managed to keep us informed and our buyer onboard over what proved to be a lengthier process than expected. There was neither a downward chain nor upward but various legal difficulties emerged in the sale of an 1850's property, which proved to be extremely time consuming. My advice, choose your solicitor carefully, with experience of old, but incomplete for the modern era, title deeds. A lot of common sense would help on both or more sides. But HB helped get our sale completed by regularly liaising with all parties and that is what mattered in the end.
