Do not rent with them. They are rude and their communication skills are so poor. They cannot even send a professional email just a few words with no sign off. They claim they are on hand 24 hours a day and they are not. They were brilliant until we moved in and then they turned awful. They call their own friends and family to come and do a quick fix botch job fix up and charge landlord silly sums for the poor work done. ”if this is not removed I will take legal action Kind regards" This is the end of the email I have received from the company after I have shared here my experience with them. This provoked me to not only share the result of our communication, but to write a review of my customer experience with 2LetHomes. I have submitted an enquiry for a flat. I have provided my current address, which is about 2 hours away from the property in question. Please also note we are still in a situation where we are not supposed to go out too much. Therefore, ALL estate agencies I am working with are very helpful, providing information and videos of the properties. This shows they value me as a client. This was not the case with 2LetHomes. The next morning, I was approached by a lady called Sue who simply told me the viewing can be arranged in about 1-hour time. I have tried to explain that I am working, and I can’t teleport myself. I asked her to reschedule for the next day around 5PM. I asked for further information about the property – I was not given almost any information and my questions what is included in the rent and what isn't stayed ignored. I asked for a video of the property – I was told there is no such video. I had no chance to find out more if I don’t go out, use public transport for a long ride and then I was hoping to get my questions answered. I have found the confirmation emails in my Spam box, so I called Ms Sue to confirm I will be attending just shortly before I left my house for the viewing. She was unpolite to me and very rude. Still, she confirmed. Everyone could have a bad day, so I decided to still give it a chance. I got on the bus and halfway through I have received an SMS that the viewing is cancelled. It was referring me to a very generic email that they have already received an offer and the flat is no longer available. I understand that this is the business but sending me a template email from a domain not supporting replies is not even near some basic customer service. Ms Sue knew I had to move my schedule and travel long way to see the flat. I have shared my opinion that this is not professional here, as a review. I have lost 2 hour working time, I had to use public transport when even the Government is advising not to. I got to the area anyway and took a walk. I liked it, so a few hours later I have made a search on RightMove just to find that same flat still actively advertised. Wait, what?! After that I have received poorly written email from the owner of the agency explaining me how Ms Sue was right not to let me view the property and the owner is willing to sue me if I don’t take down my review. I never wanted to see a taken (although still advertised) property - I had a problem with the customer service. I had a problem with this company ignoring my questions, and not respecting my time. Is threatening people over email demanding them to take down negative reviews the way you do business? Please, seek grammar and legal advice before sending emails like this. However, I have the emails to prove my words. I am a real client sharing my real experience with this company and mostly with their lack of basic CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will leave everyone who reads this to come to their conclusions.... Read more

I'd like to take time and address Tinos review which is nothing but lie as I was the person that he wanted to rent the property with and the agency was nothing short of great at communicating and supporting me and him trough the referencing process. The problem was that he couldn't provide the necessary documents to prove that he has a right to rent a property in UK. So it is just his way of attempting to cover up his own faults. I was basically scammed out of half a deposit by him myself as he lied to me about having the right to rent as well. The agency is excellent and Sue (agent dealing with our case) was exceptionally helpful, anyone considering renting a property with this agency shouldn't doubt their credibility and i strongly suggest ignoring the 1 star review left by Tino as it is a lie.... This was my first time needing to privately rent and found the whole thing daunting. Other agents are fast to ignore tough situations but this was more strait forward. being on my my own with my kids these lovely people made the whole process simple. I met Kierand first who was lovely he answered my 100 questions I threw at the poor lad with great confidence that I'd be looked after and it would be a simple process. It didn't take as long as I thought to get my home and any information I needed sue was very fast responding so was nice not being left too long to get worried. Met Lisa for the keys she's a warm nice lady I didn't feel nervous anymore just so happy that they got me in when I wanted so me and the kids can settle before Christmas , thank you everyone again for everything. I had a problem with renting our first option as the landlord's property he was moving into had feel through, so although everything was okay to move the property then wasn't no longer vacant until landlord had found somewhere. This was not at all Lisa's fault and was so worried for us, after she got the news. She give us the option to pull out and get a full refund on our referencing fee's or wait. We loved Lisa and how she was with us throughout the whole process we decided to stick at it. She informed us that if anything come up she believed we liked in the mean time of waiting for the property to become vacant she would let us know as soon as possible. She kept in contact the whole 3 weeks after the first rental feel through and didn't disappoint in finding us an amazing home before i was due my little boy. which was a great weight of our shoulders. She went above and beyond to find us somewhere to live and aloud us first viewings on anything she believed would suit. Cannot Thank/recommend Lisa and the company enough. Lisa & her inadequate team were completely useless, having firstly never bothering with any issues we had in the flat, the one time we did we were then called from the man who fixed it to say he had to 'undo' what he just fixed as LISA wouldn't pay him! WOW! How unprofessional. In the winter we called as our kitchen was freezing cold - only to be told by EMMA in their office that they couldn't do anything to help... they didn't even bother to contact the landlord. Anyway all I can say is THANK GOD our landlord changed to a new agency who are amazing and actually do their job... unlike To Let.... Read more

Had the most awful experience with one of the agents of the Bexley office called LISA. The rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever encountered to date. I had a viewing at 12pm today (July 14th, 2018) but I could not locate the actual flat due to the confusing cluster of flats. I called the agent Lisa twice who did not answer her phone. Having wondered around, I arrived at the property at 12:08 and continued to call. When she finally picked up the phone, she stated that she had left. Feeling perplexed, I asked why she didn't give a courtesy call as only minutes had passed. She shouted that she "does not wait around for people who do not show up"! This was shocking as I was only eight minutes late. She shouted down the telephone, refused to answer any questions as to why she didn't call or wait ten minutes and refused to advise if there was another operative who could attend. Lisa then proceeded to slam down the telephone. The slogan of this company advises that they are a small professional company BUT this staff member LISA at the Bexley office does not reflect courtesy or decency or professionalism. We will certainly have nothing more to do with this establishment. I only hope that she is not a reflection of the entire company. She should not be dealing with any member of the public. Shame on the company if they continue to employ loud mouthed and vulgar individuals such as Lisa. An incredible waste of time, disgraceful work ethic and zero business acumen. How anybody does business with them whilst employing individuals with such a lack of code of conduct is beyond me....... Read more

To be honest, I am a bit surprised by the reviews. I know Lisa in person and I find her rather professional. Like any agent, she has moments when she cannot pick up the phone - it might be frustrating when facing a challenge, but she is getting back at me via SMS or e-mail. I am a tenant which faced lots of challenges with the actual landlord who barely understands the standards that they are supposed to meet. Nonetheless, when Lisa and her crew took over, everything started to be done. Baby steps, but everything I needed fixed was done ASAP. The roof was a H&S hazard, the carpet was in a deplorable state, there were leaks in/outdoors, etc. and Lisa managed to take the reins and put everything in order for us. There are still ongoing reparations, but I know they are done step by step following a certain procedure. I am truly satisfied and grateful to 2 Let Homes for their committment. The reviews on this site are rubbish. I have had many dealings with Lisa Emi Sue and Joe, every time they have taken every effort to help me. If there is no help available then they work out what to do to help. What backward and overly entitled views the bad reviewers have! They are a letting agency and the have a job to do. Obviously not spoon feed you and wait around for you because you cannot make appointment times! I for one will recommend this company to all that will listen.... Read more
