Were unable to market a historically performant flat in a good area within 3 months. Recommended excessive price to market receiving no interest, had no customer engagement for the duration of marketing and only apology was to offer to sell at a standard fee. Used to be very responsive, but something has changed.... Read more

Efficient, informative and reassuring. I am an existing client of Hurst by way of a Landlord and the service I receive from the whole team is efficient, informative and reassuring. I am more than happy for Hurst to manage my properties, so much so I have just completed on a further purchase through Hurst and naturally they will manage this for me as well. The Team at Hurst in Aylesbury have been exceptionally helpful throughout the whole process and kept me fully updated and informed. I also used the mortgage services at Hurst for the first time for multiple products within my existing portfolio, I have never received mortgage offers so quickly with an exceptional, fuss free approach. I wouldn’t use any other agent and look forward to growing my property portfolio with Hurst in the future.... Read more

After having a couple of local estate agents come to our home for the purpose of a valuation ready for sale, my wife and I felt quite deflated. "Well, it's a depressed market, you'll probably have to take an offer," "there's lots of 3 bed detached houses for sale at the moment", etc. Then Lewis from Hurst turned up. We've always felt that our home was a little bit special and bespoke from the run of the mill houses in the area, and to our delight, Lewis immediately saw it too. His enthusiasm buoyed us, and we thought (quite rightly as it turned out) if Lewis could enthuse potential buyers with his insight and positivity, Hurst were the ones to go with. Result-sold 3 weeks later for a little MORE than the full asking price! So a big thank you to Lewis and the team for (and I never thought I'd say this about an estate agent) there enthusiasm, integrity and professionalism. If you're reading this with a view to selling your property, why go anywhere else?... Read more

I have used the services of Hurst Estate Agents in my capacity as a Landlord for several years now. I have always received a very swift service and a tenant found quickly resulting in me experiencing a very short void period. Hurst have always provided me with excellent communication and their property management team are obliging and always prepared to go the extra mile. I would recommend any Landlord to put their property with Hurst and it gives me comfort that my investment is in safe hands.... Read more

Five stars! I had several agents out to value my property and I'm so pleased I chose Hurst. Lewis and the team were extremely helpful from start to finish. Not only did they work extremely hard to get my asking price but they also made the whole selling process easy. If you are looking to sell your property this is the agent to use.... Read more

popped in to hurst to discuss potential new properties and receive advice being first time buyers. Myself and my partner left feeling satisfied with the service received, the young woman we spoke to, Gayle was professional, very much to the point and explained everything very clearly. Making our experience less daunting than we imagined. 5/5 from me.... Read more

I have to be honest, Hurst have not been great, at the start of selling my property everything seemed to be OK, Sarah from the Aylesbury office kept me posted regularly and her communication was good. Whenever Sarah was away from the office that’s when I think it was a bad service. This is because new people in the office that knew nothing about my property kept on interfering and giving wrong information out to potential buyers, this happened on a regular basis. I found out when doing some research on Rightmove that my property was being listed as a flat, when actually my property was a 2 bedroom house. I was losing potential buyers for my property as every time they searched for my house on Rightmove my property wouldn’t show up. In the end I managed to speak with Rightmove who had this changed and as soon as this happened guess what an offer was made on my property which I accepted. Once I sold my property I haven’t had any communication from Hurst whatsoever, however I have found out that they had been speaking to my buyer and giving them false information stating that I would be willing to break the chain and move in with friends which was not an option as all my friends are either starting married life or still live with their parents, and not once had Hurst spoken to me about this being an option. I asked Hurst to give my buyer my mobile number as I couldn’t trust Hurst to give the correct information to my buyer. This caused my buyer to text me on numerous occasions threatening to pull out unless I broke the chain. I would have nowhere to go and effectively be homeless until the property that I was going to go to would be ready for me to move into. This caused daily stress for myself and my buyer. I have had better communication with JNP than I have with Hurst, JNP constantly kept me up to date with what is going on with the above chain. During the course of 3 months I made various calls and emails to get this sale through, I was constantly in contact with the above chain estate agents, a job in which Hurst should have been doing. I feel that Hurst are supposed to be representing me but they haven’t and I felt they spoke to my buyer more than they have me. Overall the experience hasn’t been great with Hurst, and I will not be recommending them to anyone I know. I don’t disagree that I owe Hurst a fee for listing my property in there window and online, but I strongly disagree that I owe the full amount of £2712 for such a poor service. I ended up doing all the work that they should have been doing which caused me a lot of stress when I have a full time job to do as well. Really disappointed that I have had to fork out the full amount on Hurst estate agent fees.... Read more

Absolute brilliant agency, myself and my partner recently rented a beautiful 1 bed flat and the process was seamless! The Aylesbury branch were so helpful with our referencing (it was our first time!) and we managed to secure the place with no issues. The quality of properties they offer is wonderful, and I will definitely be considering this agency when it comes to eventually buying a property. Beyond that, we had an issue with the parking and they sorted it all out for us, as it wasn't our fault. 100% would recommend, and I hope we can use them in the future.... Read more

Property listings are matched to data from the Land Registry by our clever algorithm. Clever as it may be, it isn't always right, especially if a property was listed by multiple agents. The asking price is the original listing price, NOT the final listing price.
