Poorly managed Lettings department. Worst of the lot. Staff is arrogant and unprofessional to the core. Everything about this organisation is unethical. One of the worst organisations on the planet. They are experts in misleading the customer at every step possible. Incompetent and unprofessional to the core. The responses to the lowest rated Google reviews are mostly misleading as they take no accountability for their inactions. I challenge them to appoint an independent agency to investigate the matters raised by the reviewers and the outcome will be entirely different from what they portray to be. This is what they do or rather don't do. - Take weeks or months to reply or even acknowledge the email messages sent to their email addresses. Even when you send to more than one email I'd in their organisation they still miss to acknowledge the email received. -Claim to have made a call when they make no calls. I have challenged them multiple times and asked them to share the evidence of their call logs but they stop responding as soon as you ask logical questions. - Disconnect calls unilaterally during a phone conversation because they can't be bothered to respond to the questions asked. -Hire incompetent contractors for maintenance work to be carried out in the rental properties. Some of the contractors are there to fully exploit the setup when they know the three parties (landlord , the letting agent and the tenant) won't talk to each other. The managing agent is supposed to be the main party to coordinate and protect the interests of the other two parties but Hurst is utmost unprofessional and inept due to untrained and unfit staff. Most of the buy-to-let owners don't get involved and that's where these people make money. -Staff keeps moving or is frequently away from work. The email messages aren't monitored of the staff who is sick or away. -The staff at Hurst feels proud to claim that they are short staffed and trying their best to manage with the available resources. -When you ask Hurst staff to share the contact details of the senior management then they stop responding or abruptly disconnect the phone call. -Take ages to release the rental security deposits -Most of their associates like Hinch properties etc are highly incompetent and useless. They are just there to milk money from the uninterested landlords. -Frequently lie and mislead the parties including the tenants. For example, when asked to share the phone number of the contractors they intentionally share the email address to delay the process. -Claim to follow standard processes when they don't even have trained or experienced staff. When you ask them to share their standard process then they won't share anything and will stop responding. -They still manage (read mismanage) rental properties in Aylesbury without any local office which is a complete mess. I have documents to support everything noted above which is 100% correct and accurately represents the facts and status of Hurst Estate Agents (Lettings). I fully expect then to threaten me with the consequences of posting this review but I think it is sensible to present the facts as they are without distortion. The staff at Hursts High Wycombe were very user-friendly. There was always a warm welcome whenever I entered the offices. They were efficient and helpful. Wonderful experience selling our house through Hurst, from the initial valuation meeting with Kieran to handing over our keys a few months later to Gabriela. Every member of the team was very helpful and professional, from viewings and negotiations to communication with our buyers and solicitors. The person who stood out was Gabriela, who was there for us through all the ups and downs, and who was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also very kind and supportive. I couldn't recommend Hurts enough! Especially Lewis Davies, he was the perfect estate agent, excellent communication, honesty and attention to detail. We had a difficult purchase to get over the line but he fought my corner and got it secured in time for Christmas. Huge thanks to him & everyone at Hursts.
