Atkons were very professional, helpful, giving good advice and friendly, they used gloves, masks and overshoes during the visits, also when showing potential purchasers around our property, when viewing other properties with other estate agents, we were allowed in with just masks on, walking on carpets without covers in outdoor shoes. Poor quality service and professionalism not from aktons as a whole but from the specific employer jo, who on numerous occasions has been rude and condescending to both me and my partner, if you do ever have to deal with aktons avoid that woman at all costs, shes the kind of person who gives estate agents there terrible stereotypes.... TLDR: Professional, supportive and interested, I would reccomend Aktons. We recently bought a property listed by Aktons. The service was really strong throughout. When viewing the property we were given time to look around. 'Salesmanship' was present but not intrusive. During the offer phase we had fast and concise contact. Due to a long chain, the purchase was challenging but Aktons were supportive and realistic throughout. We were able to contact Aqual and receive a response same day or early next next everytime we tried. I would be confident to use Aktons having seen how they work with buyers.... Read more

We recently sold our property through Aktons and cannot speak highly enough of their services. This was our first time selling a property, which was very daunting, but the team at Aktons were very supportive and were always on hand whenever we had questions. Having arranged valuations with two other estate agents, Aktons gave us the confidence in our property to market it at a significantly higher value than the other two. Having sold our property incredibly quickly very close to the asking price, we realise now that the other estate agents were clearly under valuing for the sake of a quick sale and we would have lost out on potentially tens of thousands. We believe that the success of the quick sale was down to how proactive the team at Aktons were, even carrying out work and offering advice before we agreed to sell with them. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Aktons estate agency in Caerphilly on two occasions in the past 3 years, firstly renting out my property and then this week selling my property. All the staff have been amazing, they made one of the most difficult times of my life much easier. I decided to use the team at Aktons to sell my property as I had received outstanding service from them when i rented out a previous property. Nothing was to much to ask, they always answered any questions , got back to me straight away and dealt with both my rental and sale very professionally but with that extra personal touch. My partner and I fell in love with a property that was on the market with Aktons. We spoke to Aqual from Aktons and decided we wanted to sell ours through his company too. He made us feel like nothing was too much hassle for him and his colleagues, because it literally wasn't!! I've never sold a house before so was quite clueless and to make matters worse I was heavily pregnant so moving house at that time probably wasn't ideal but everyone at Atkons made it easy! If I had a question I could contact Aqual at any time. He even replied to me when he was away on holiday, which I wouldn't have expected! My partner & I can't recommend Aqual, Yasmin & Jo enough. Background info I am a teacher with a young daughter 6yra old, rented a property from these for 4 years. When moved out I hired a cleaner for 3 days to clean the whole property, had the house painted, and all carpets cleaned. Very unprofessional service. Make you feel like worthless or less than they are. Miss out important information loose paper work, don't respond to urgent calls. Rented a property for 4 years never missed a rental payment. Not returning bond after check out and every house inspection said with everything is fine, looked after no problems etc.... no inventory was done because the property was damanged and in need of TLC painting, broken items when I moved in. Left without heating with a young child for months. Nothing being done. Left with a broken boiler for over 2 years. Left with a faulty front door lock for over 3 years. Left with a leaking ceiling for 2 years had to eventually move out because of the damp. Faulty cooker from moment moved in never fixed. Didn't remove rubbish and furniture from garden when I moved in. Broken window locks never replaced or changed. No help with maintenance throughout years of renting a property. Leaks, ceilings fallen through, building work not completed. Will not return bond because the landlord spent a week painting the property before renting the property again. I am now very upset about this as I never moaned, allways paid and now I am left being treated very badly, the way this estate agent has spoken to me over the past 6 months is very unprofessional. Would avoid at all costs. Now having to get legal advice because of the poor treatment.... Read more
