Alex Neil Estate Agents offer and successfully deliver our full range of services across a broad expanse of East London. We have a proud history selling and letting property in areas including Bow, Bethnal Green, Stratford, Canning Town, Hackney, Victoria Park, Dalston and East into Essex.

Founded in Surrey Quays and the Isle of Dogs over 30 years ago, when many parts of Canary Wharf, Docklands, East and South East London were derelict wastelands. Alex Neil are an established sales and lettings agency integral to the ever-changing local property landscape.

We had the worst experience with Alex Neil. After signing the pre-tenancy agreement, which included furniture, we were sent the final tenancy agreement, which again we signed.
The final agreement did not include the inventory but nowhere it mentioned that it would void the pre-tenancy agreement.
5 days before entering the property, we received a call from the property admin which informed us that the landlord decided that he would not provide any furniture. Alex Neil could not offer a discount towards the rent nor a refund of the agency fee.
Saying that we were disappointed is an understatement as we could not take up the apartment any longer as purchasing furniture was not within our budget. It's now 2 days to the day when were are leaving our current flat and we still haven't found a replacement, leaving us officially homeless.

Could not check how good are these guys at their job - they tend to keep an outdated properties adverts on zoopla and when I've called them, they say that these properties are not available anymore and then they try to convince to you to have a look at the other property, which is quite annoying. This happened more than once to me, so will not call them anymore. They are also quite expensive.

Abusive calling from this company. 4 calls in 2 minutes?! One never even enquired! Clear breach of GDPR. Call me again and I'll take appropriate action with the competent authorities.

They need serious training in customer service. I list my requirements to them yet I keep getting spammed by emails and text messages, by multiple members of staff, with properties out of my range and in areas I would not like to live in. I also stressed to them my preferred method of contact through email but no one writes back to me and they continue to call during work hours. Unless they improve, I will not continue with them
