Terrible customer service. As many other estate agents they stopped working once they secured my deposit.
Terrible communications, I had to chase up almost everything, no repairs were made, I didn't get my contract until the very last day and now have to reorganize the entire flat as the painters have to paint the flat 2 weeks after I moved in instead of before.
TL DR: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, LACK PROFESSIONALISM
Alex Mcfee (Negotiator in the Knight Frank Canary Wharf office) provided us a fantastic service while we were researching the area for a new flat. Responding promptly & accurately to our questions he was able to organise quickly the viewing for our preferred flat, showing us as well the surrounding area. Extremely polite, friendly and patient, Alex kept notes to address any of our concerns. We just wished more estate agents being like Alex!
Initial experience is great and very professional but our experience at the end of tenancy was terrible. We were charged around £400 for damages for stuff which was by previous tenants and while some of it was mentioned in the check in report, some of the stuff was never mentioned.
Our fault we didn't look in to too much detail in check in report as we had an understanding with the staff at knight Frank maintenance but she left and the new staff Heather didn't budge. She didn't bother comparing check in and check out reports and we had to eventually pay as we didn't want to get in to the hassle.
The amounts they charge are over priced, for instance key replacement for the window was charged at £75.
Our rent refund calculations were not accounted for and after several polite reminders they looked in to it.
Seamus from KFH was really helpful in helping us to find a property to rent in the Canada Water area recently. He made the process extremely efficient, kept us well informed at each stage and was always available to contact with any queries. Have no hesitation to recommend his services.
Ridiculous they ask for a 1-day charge of rent just out of a wording game! We confirmed the end of lease date the same as the date we pay the rent each month. But no one ever told us before confirmation that the day is actually counted but not the night before. Why on earth would we pay for the one additional day given that we actually move out two days earlier to that? It was out of goodwill that we end the lease by the end of month sharp... then on contrary heard from them such an unfair and unnecessary treatment.
It is really a frustrating and disappointing process negotiating back and forth. Such an unnecessary waste of time.
Katrina was so helpful with our moving process. Moving house is a very stressful time but Katrina tried her very best to make sure that everything went smoothly for us. We needed a couple of things changing with the property and the contract and she managed to sort these out for us as professionally and smoothly as they could go whilst keeping us updated and helping us with any other queries we had along the way. Thank you for your help and understanding Katrina :)
One of the estate agents here was incredibly rude to my mother. We came in and asked if it was possible to have a viewing of a house a little earlier, and he was incredibly rude and actually sent us away. When the actual viewing was meant to take place, he then sent a colleague instead of coming himself. When my mother then made an offer on the house, her emails were ignored for over 24 hours (which is incredibly rude considering she is literally offering them money) and when they did get back to her the agent actually had the audacity to call her up and have a row with her down the phone because the offer was too low. Absolutely abysmal service and experience, and would not recommend at all.
Would totally recommend! Extremely quick and easy process and the Complete team were always available to speak to if I had any questions.
The worst experience in my life with any agency or any institution.
Many problems before I moved in. Problem from my side always was the most important and one thing which they repeated was that I will loose flat if i do not something...When I was needed them to do something quickly... no, never.
However we finally moved in. Thank for that. But it's almost two weeks after and none of any issued was fixed this time. Main door are opened by fob key. It's HORRIBLE for two people to live with one key!!! still nothing. I have to deal with this alone. There is main procedure for fob for this building which they dont know... I don't have a water in the shower from two weeks. Nothing happened!!!! I beggin them that water is important and the fob...nothing. Since I moved in they dont care. They really dont care about tenant.
I was thinking that agency will be secure and safe solution. That I could trust them more that private person. Now I have completely different opinion.
A fantastic estate agents who will bend over backwards to help you in your property search. Our experience was particularly wonderful because of Terence Cunningham. He was friendly, considerate and incredibly professional. With every property we saw, he remembered the pros and cons, never pressure us and also give us advise about the process. What more could you want from an agent!! He is a real asset to LT and I recommend him highly! Cheers Terence - you’re a star!
really bad experience. poor customer service, bad communication with the landlord and the agency which delayed the whole process dramatically, very high fees for everything, very unprofessional. avoid !
