Alexander's Russell services throughout our sale were absolutely brilliant.
My property was up with a high street estate agent prior for 6 months which they couldn't sell, I first contacted Russell for a valuation of which he was happy to help.
I listed my house with Russell who set a slightly different sales pitch with regards to advertising and pricing. Lone behold I have 2 offer on my property within 2 weeks of being listed!
I cannot recommend alexander Russell's services enough! We thankyou very much for your and jenny's services, should we ever need an estate agent in the future I will certainly be a returning customer!

I have had much experience with Estate Agents over the years, some good, some bad and some downright ugly. Russell Leask needs his own special category. Russell is honest, reliable, approachable and quite simply exemplary in the service he provides.
Russell has an amazing natural ability to match vendors and purchasers in a super fast, no fuss
way and his excellent rapport with local conveyancers makes the process a breeze.
Avoid the "Wild West" of Estate Agents and give Russell a call, you will not be disappointed.

Russell has been a fantastic agent for my flat sale from start to finish. He provides a quality service which is a cut above the alternatives in Margate, and got me an excellent price for my flat in a quite a tough market. He has been trustworthy, communicative and clear throughout. I also appreciated his honesty and realism - I spoke to 4 or 5 other agents who either didn't understand the property or priced it wildly above what it was worth, purely in the hopes of securing the business. Russell was clear and realistic about how to price it and quickly found me the perfect buyer. He also recommended an excellent solicitor and his sales progressor Kirsty has been very helpful too at pushing things along. The entire process took only three months, from going on the market to completion, which is a brilliant result. I highly recommend Alexander Russell for your sale or purchase.

I don't usually write reviews but feel the help and advice we received from Russell and his team should be acknowledged.
We have recently moved into the area, and Russell was the agent for the sellers. Our own agent was worse than useless, and it was Russell and his team that did the chasing up etc for our own sale, updating and advising us regularly.
I feel the service provided by this agency far exceeded the standard which seems to have become the norm in this industry.
Oh and the welcome card and bottle were very much appreciated.
We wish Russell, Kirstie and the team continuing success...they deserve it.

We completed on our home today and the purchase went smoothly down to Russell and Kirsty’s skills and expertise. We found Russell and Kirsty to be kind, honest, helpful and compassionate which is unusual for estate agents going by our past experiences. Russell was so different in his manner and approach. Their effective negotiating with the top of the chain estate agents and all solicitors meant everyone was happy. We will only use Alexander Russell in the future as arranging the viewing then offer to completion has been a pleasure from start to finish. From making a phone call to enquire about one of his properties, to then end up buying it as well as selling our house through Russell, has been as stress free as it comes. It was clear from that initial phone call that Russell’s approach as an estate agent is very different from the usual high street brands. Russell made things very easy for us, both in terms of visiting (and re-visiting!) the house during the conveyancing process for surveys and the like, and helping us unblock an issue introduced by the seller's solicitor. If / when we come to sell I am likely to ask Russell to look after the process.

My decision as a seller to put my house, even though it was out of the immediate Thanet area, in Russell’s hands was absolutely the best decision I could have made. I have had experience of several other estate agents around the country and in Kent, and Russell Alexander’s service far exceeds any agent I have ever used. I could always deal directly with him, and he takes all the worry out of what can be very stressful. Right from the start I felt valued as a customer, and his knowledge of marketing is second to none. He took personal responsibility for the photos and presentation online, consulted with me, kept me informed, researched the offers and advised me accordingly. Russell spends time keeping in touch with the buyer too, ensuring there are no hold ups. Kirsty as part of the team liaises with all parties but especially the solicitors so that from accepting an offer, my sale was complete in just over 2 months. These days much of the process can be done online speeding things up considerably, and Russell was always at hand immediately to help if I needed it, at one point appearing in person to help me complete a digital signature (I am from an older generation!). In fact it seemed no request was too much trouble. I promise that if you sign up with him you will get a personalised service throughout from an expert in his field.

What can I say! As a first time buyer everything was completely new to me and having had my experience tainted by another estate agent I felt like I was just another number and was treated like I was a chore…
It all changed when I got a phonecall from Alexander Russell Estate Agents! We dealt with Russell himself who was always available to answer any questions, accommodated our tight schedule for viewings and acted efficiently and empathetic going the extra mile whenever needed. It felt like the organisation took control of my purchase to make sure everything when smoothly and efficiently loading with myself and the seller to ensure all bases were covered.
They worked closely with a lady called Kirsty who chased the solicitors on my behalf and made sure the paperwork side was all moving along. This was fantastic because I didn’t really know what I was doing being a first time buyer.
In summary I cannot thank Russell and the team enough for turning my experience around and delivering the best first time but I could ever have asked for. The personal touches and advice we muchly appreciated and I would recommend this company to anyone looking to move home!

We have moved today after 34 years in our family home. We have downsized to a much smaller property and are very happy with our choice.
Alexander Russell have been truly amazing and have supported us on this journey. There have been several occasions when we have needed the expertise and experience of the whole team to keep us on track. After 34 years so much has changed but we have been skill fully guided to the sale of our house.

Not only did Russel help us sell our property at the best possible price, but also supported us in purchasing our ‘dream’ home. The service we received really can’t be described as anything but above & beyond!
We were very anxious at times during the buying and selling stages with the many ups and downs it can bring, but Russel remained positive, calm & practical throughout.

I have sold several houses over the past ten years and have not - to be perfectly honest - had a high opinion of estate agents! When I decided to sell my cottage - a unique property - I had four agents round to value it and for me to see how they operated. Always interesting…. I decided on Russell as soon as I met him and to say I made the right decision is an understatement! From the beginning he was likeable, professional and honest & I engaged him fully confident that he would sell my property for the best price in the shortest time. He did. In TEN DAYS! Everyone who looked at the details was knocked out by the photos and really, I can’t fault any aspect of his work. When a survey was requested very late on in the procedure, Russell dealt with it for n the swiftest way and facilitated a really smooth transaction. I have no hesitation recommending his agency to anyone, but especially those with a character property- you won’t regret it!

Having known Russell for a couple of years now we knew he was good but to say we have been impressed, blown away is an understatement! In the last few months, he has listed and sold two properties for our family and both very different properties in very different price brackets. Both sales have completed now, and we are very pleased. On the valuation stage he was professional, knowledgeable giving us justifications for the pricing and strategy. His photos, videos and virtual tour were all amazing and he did them all himself to a better standard than I’ve seen from a lot of so-called professional photographers. The descriptions and floorplan were great and really sold the property. The videos on social media set the properties apart from the competition. He qualified buyers with great attention to detail and we were kept fully informed with viewing confirmations by email, detailed feedback after every viewing because he attended every one of them and met every prospective buyer himself. The offers were presented to us with full justification for his recommendations. Once the solicitors got to work, we were kept int he loop at every stage. We did hit a few bumps in the road but with each challenge Russell just said, ‘don’t worry, leave it to me and I’ll sort it’ and he did. Trusting estate agents to get the job done is something I have always had great difficulty with in the past but with Russell I know he can take charge and get the job done efficiently and effectively. I/we would have no hesitation in recommending Alexander Russell Estate Agents to anyone looking for a trustworthy and highly effective specialist sales estate agent.
