Steer clear at all costs but if you do rent a property through them, take photographs of absolutely everything as soon as you get the keys and mark the check-in inventory with every single defect, no matter how petty you may consider it to be. Keep hold of it as they won't use it as a comparator at check-out and will try and sting you for faults already there.

It took weeks for Avneet to respond to emails and usually only after numerous phone calls. Any repairs were done reluctantly and usually with demands for contribution. They are extremely landlord-centric.

Expect to send Avneet at least 4 chasers and to make numerous phone calls for each enquiry. Follow up each telephone call and face to face meeting with an email and keep this as evidence ... you will need It.

Be prepared to go to DPS at the end of your tenancy as you WILL need to if you want your deposit back. I cannot stress enough the importance of keeping every single piece of correspondence and records of telephone calls and face to face meetings with this bunch of incompetent rip-off merchants.

UPDATE

I took my landlord to arbitration over the deduction from my deposit and won!

Without a doubt the team at Andrews in Bishops Cleeve worked tirelessly to support my Mum's purchase. They were all so patient, kind and considerate, particularly as I turned into a mess of stress towards the end!!!! Would give no stars if we could!! Terrible communication, withholding deposit without explanation. Beware!! What a terrible letting agency. Maybe we were unlucky with the landlady from hell but the agents should act on their behalf fairly... this was not the case with Andrews. Avneet was so incapable as an agent, especially at the end of the tenancy! Avoid at all costs.
