Handled all viewings as I lived away from the property being sold. Found a buyer quickly. Time from accepting an offer to completion took much longer than their initial estimate, maybe keep that in mind.
Overall, not too bad...although they did need prompting and chasing before acting on a couple of matters and 'dropped the ball' once or twice.
House is sold now so mission accomplished.

I recently bought a property for which Ann Cordey were the estate agent. Debbie was the one dealing with this property and was really helpful. The sale was very difficult and prolonged but she stuck with it and helped guide me through the process as a first time buyer. I'd thoroughly recommend them from the buyer's perspective, and I know the seller was similarly impressed and thankful.
Worth noting that they're not where Google maps think they are. They're actually on Duke Street, just next door to "Andy's Candy Bar"

The sale process went very smoothly and there was no delays so happy about the work done behind the curtain but communication with me was a bit lacking.
Contact was mostly through email (which is not bad at all) but emails come across a bit rude as there is barely any communication in the email copy. The letter is instead attached as a pdf file to the email. Not sure why is it done like that.
The viewing was with the vendors directly so in the end the only time I had a direct contact with the agency was when I collected the key. They also failed to update me on the survey appointment in the beginning.
Communication was a bit better towards the end when Debbie was my main contact so thanks for that.
All in all good experience.

However, choosing Ann Cordey as my estate agent was a very easy decision to make. Of all the agents who came to value my property, it was clear which one I should use. From the moment I spoke to Jayne, I felt that I was in safe hands and that I was a person and not just a ‘sale’. Time proved me right. She explained the process very clearly, took some fabulous photos and presented my home exceedingly well in the brochure. I was not put under any pressure and Jayne was a great support, and showed patience while I decided whether to sell. Once the decision was made, viewings were organised by the office staff very professionally. My house sold very quickly and in the time between accepting an offer and completion, I was kept up to date with the progress at every step. Then there were the viewing arrangements and the interventions to ensure the proper questioning regarding the fine detail and the contract negotiations all went smoothly and to a swift conclusion. I have bought and sold a lot of properties over the years in a number of different parts of the country. This was my best experience of using an estate agent. Really poor. House has been on the market for six months with barely a look, although similar properties in the same street have sold for more in that time. No communication amongst staff, which they freely admitted. All feels like a bit of a front for the auction company they pushed us towards in the end. Very outdated company, but just feels like they can't even be bothered to do any leg work or chase down any potential buyers like other better estate agents would do. Just avoid and go elsewhere

Regularly inundated with emails about IDEAL INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY. Just a thought, but why don't you target investors with GENUINE investment opportunities, rather than filling our inboxes with multiple IDEAL INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY when you know, at that price, it is far from it.
Also, as an investor who has bought through you in the past, LISTEN to the feedback, acknowledge it and look at ways to improve your service. As a young investor, you should be building a relationship up with me for the future not boring me with generic emails....
