Our property purchase experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. We initially were made to believe we were entering a straightforward quick purchase transaction with no chain involved. They also asked us to pay them commission to get our offer accepted by the seller, which is extremely cheap and unprofessional..! Shortly before exchange, the seller unexpectedly added complications by bringing in multiple delays and suddenly creating a chain. This caused considerable disruption and uncertainty for us... For well over 3 months. During the process, we felt pressured to complete the purchase and accommodate the seller's unconventional requests, including a leaseback arrangement with an open timeline for his move-out. We were also concerned about veiled threats related to our mortgage. We believe these actions were motivated by factors beyond standard business practices. We are particularly troubled by the estate agent's involvement in suggesting such an unusual rental arrangement, especially considering the seller's previous false accusations against us with the police and seller's own family supporting us with complete respect and being apologetic for the seller's untrue behaviours. We trust that our experience will open the eyes of people to make optimal decisions in their property matters.... Read more

AVOID AMAN OBHRAI !!! Called Ashford Finance and property services to find a buyer for my flat in Sheringham Tower. They did not come to see the flat but asked for pictures which I sent them. Viewings were unaccompanied but I was ok to do them so no complaints there. Was told the commission was 1% plus vat then they found a buyer and increased it to 1.25% plus vat because as they state in their email 'he is a cash buyer and wants to complete quickly'! The GREED has put me off completely and I would rather not sell through them at all. I am shocked at how they try to corner people and take advantage. Now instead of having two happy customers and thousands in the bank, they have 0 and a bad review. I can't speak for the other people here but Aman claims that it was a joint decision between himself and his director. PLEASE AVOID THIS FIRM! NO MORALS OR PRINCIPALS! They will take advantage where they can with no remorse.... Read more
