Very good service fron the team at bridgfords Denton. Dealt with Chloe initially re valuation and then Reagan who was a star at the end especially taking meter readings at the house (a challenging hiccup) and handed over keys etc. Difficult for me to do living 2 hours away from the property. Along the way I spoke with other staff members too who were really helpful as well. Well done team!

Great service with excellent communication from the Bridgfords Denton office.
Starting from the initial call from Megan after my online enquiry, through to Charles and Jevita for viewings and valuation.
My property was advertised and tenants found within the promised time frame.
I was well advised by Charles about how to improve the appeal of the property for potential tenants with excellent detailed feedback after the initial valuation visit.
References and Contracts handled in a friendly and helpful manner and again well communicated throughout.
With regards to their services as well, the pricing is competitive compared to other agencies and they are confident in their business which gives great confidence to me as the landlord too.
All matters dealt with efficiently and smoothly and with fantastic detail given to all areas of the letting process.

Don't believe their sales pitch they pledge to give you a better experience than other estate agents.
Well don't be fooled there rude arrogant unhelpful unprofessional.
I was helped more by third party estate agent Edward mellor 5 months and still ko completion date.
They don't chase things up unless you hound them then they complain the contact is to much.
Absolute nightmare and most stressful time of my life.

The team at Bridgfords work effortlessly for you. You pay for what get, although not the cheapest, when selling you want it done properly. Very informative valuation with great stats and information about the market. Photos arranged and on the market. If offers do not come in quickly they evaluate the situation and give good honest feedback. Once offers were made, buyers are qualified so no time wasters. Then the stress starts with solicitors. This is where Ryan and the team really stepped up. They kept in constant contact with all parties to ensure you are updated at all times. It sometimes felt they were doing work for the solicitors, mortgage advisors, banks and estate agents all in one. We also bought our new house through Bridgfords and cannot fault them. Yes we could have chosen a cheaper option but this can cost you in the long run, both financially and stress. What you need is to sell and buy with an agent that knows what they are doing and care about getting everything over the line. They are polite, have lots of patience and knowledgeable. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Bridgfords. they do the job professionally and do what it takes and really work hard for you. You really do get value for the fee you pay. I recently engaged with Bridgfords to sell my home. The property initially went on the market in May, but the sale fell through in October. The property was re-listed the same day, and a new buyer was secured within 5 days thanks to the quick action of Ryan and the team.
The second sale went through in 55 days and I cannot thank Ryan, Chloe, and Adam enough. We had been given a deadline from the vendors of our new property and were also tied to a mortgage offer that was set to run out in January 2023. The team made it their mission to help us complete on 16th December. I received daily calls and updates, informative instructions, and the support they gave our first time buyers was over and above- helping them with their mortgage documentation and even driving their signed deeds over to their solicitor an hour away due to postal strikes. All because they were aware of the urgency and wanted to help us move.
Both Chole and Ryan were on the receiving end of a couple of irate phone calls, for which I am truly sorry. Both dealt with them professionally and calmly and were able to instil trust and confidence that I was in safe hands.
Although I never want to move again, if I were to, I wouldn't hesitate to use the Denton team again. We had previously had a bad experience with a competitor agent and I can categorically say that any pre-conceptions about estate agents were un-founded where the Denton team are concerned.

When viewing the property the lady showing us round admitted she hadn't even been upstairs and couldn't answer even basic questions about the house
Didn't disclose that it was a probate sale until we were nearly 8 weeks into the process and still hadn't received the draft contract, didn't reply to emails unless chased multiple times
Ultimately the sale fell through and we were compensated after Countrywide looked into it and admitted they hadn't kept us up to date as they should have

You should applaud your sales technique as you originally managed to persuade me to join Bridgfords in you selling our house. Your customer service and all round personality was lovely and coming in to meet the team was a personal touch on a very stressful thing.
You all did exactly what you said in selling our home, and we couldn't be any more thrilled. You were upfront and honest at times and I really appreciated that. You never went through the general sales type route that just "tells you what you want to hear".
Chloe has also been an absolute star, dealing with me for one. I can't sit here and say that we have been the easiest clients to deal with in fact we were probably one of the most annoying and I bet you'll be glad to get rid of the daily phone calls!! But in all seriousness she has performed amazingly, as did Katie, and gets back to me and answers all my questions professionally and in a way I understand, and you can tell in the way you work as an office you are absolutely on the ball and have your clients best interests at heart.

When we decided to see our home I wanted to go with a local estate agent. Out of the 4 estate agents on our street bridgefords were the only ones that had there doors unlocked and were seeing customer.
Once inside I spoke with Ryan about getting a valuation done and putting my house on the market. Within days Adam was at our house carrying out a valuation and giving me all the information I needed.
Once the house was on the market on the Thursday evening within 24hrs Chloe had a full Saturday booked with viewings and the house was sold by the Monday afternoon. After a offer was accepted Chloe was fantastic at keeping me updated with any new information she received and pushing solicitors to keep things moving. Once the sale progressed Ryan was available to help move things past the final exchange and completion.

^^ the above was my review having just moved in and being processed by Bridgefords. This is an update to say that while they were great processing our application during our tenancy Bridgefords have been a nightmare to contact, I only ever get through to an answerphone or get no email response. They work under CountryWide who have been a nightmare since we moved out in August. We were ideal tenants, looked after everything always kept them updated and took time off work at the end of the tenancy specifically deep clean the house (for those that might read this and think we're 'those kind of nightmare tenants'). It is now October and we have yet to receive our deposit back despite chasing it weekly since mid-August! I can't get hold of anyone or when I do they say "oh we'll email you" and it never happens. It's driving me mental. The people at the front of bridgefords are lovely as stated above but the company is a nightmare! Never again.

I recently got news of a new job and very quickly had to start searching for properties to rent. I had a number of difficult experiences with other letting agencies who insisted I had to view the properties before I could complete an application form but due to living 3 hours away from the area I was relocating to it was impossible to make my work schedule work with booking viewings. Relocating for work can be difficult anyways so the added pressure of potentially not finding a place unless I physically went to do the viewings definitely added to the stress of moving. Then I came across Bridgfords Denton branch and things completely turned around for me. I saw a property I really liked on right move and when I first contacted the branch I was greeted by a very friendly voice of one of the lettings negotiators, Megan Taylor. I cannot emphasis enough how helpful Megan has been throughout this process from start to finish. I can imagine her job is quite busy but her response to emails and questions always felt instant and I was never left wondering what was happening. I also briefly spoke with Megan Waddell, another very friendly member of the team and I particularly appreciated the time she took to explain the Reposit Scheme to me as this was not something I had been offered before and just by chance it happened to be an option on this property. Thank you Megan Waddell for taking the time to explain the scheme to me in great detail and also for sending over some paperwork I required to kick start my application. Megan Taylor has made the process a breeze for me. From submitting my application to competing referencing this was all done within 48hours! I’m currently waiting to sign contracts but I have no doubt the rest of that process will be just as smooth. I also really appreciate Megan contacting the landlord on my behalf regarding any queries or requests I have for the property and keeping me updated throughout. I have rented 5 properties in the last 7 years and worked with varies letting agencies accross the UK and I can by far say the best experience I have had has been with Bridgfords (Denton). I am a landlord with a few properties in the Manchester area. After a few terrible experiences with one of the main agents in east Manchester (blue signage !) I switched to using Bridgfords . I have found all of the staff in the Denton/ashton office excellent. In particular the lettings manager Abby is professional, efficient and basically good at her job. She has rented out a number of properties for me quickly while still achieving a good rental.
The only criticism I would make is that they need more people in their office to pick up the phone .... Sometimes it can take a while to get through to their office.
That said I would definitely recommend their service to landlords and tenants.

What can we say....nothing but praise and good things about the Bridgfords Denton Team!!! We had our house up with another estate agent who couldnt sell our house after having it on the market for over 4 months. In stepped Bridgfords Denton who had a buyer with a couple of weeks!!!!
Although there were slight issues which seemed to delay the Conveyancing process on the sale of our house the team kept us constantly informed and updated and made regular contact with both sets of Solicitors to ensure the sale of our house went through in the quickest time possible. I'm never usually compelled to write a review but I just had to share my experience. The thought of selling my property in Denton when I was living in New Zealand was daunting to say the least, add to that the fact that my tenants vacated and I couldn't meet further mortgage payments, and you get the picture. I could write an essay on the whole process, as it's not been a straightforward one, but really the point is that the team here have been awesome from start to finish. Mark was spot on with his valuation, gave constructive advice and worked with me to get the property moving as soon as possible. Kate has been an absolute super star, I cannot rave about her enough! Totally savvy, a skilled negotiator, extremely proactive and wonderfully competent! She's really been a god send for me throughout this whole process, and I really think things would have gone pear shaped had she not been so on the ball.
Prior experience of estate agents has been "stereotypical" for me, this team however have left me amazed and ever so thankful that I made the decision to sell with them! Fantastic job guys, thank you so much :)

Have had the most fantastic experience from start to finish buying my first home via Bridgfords.
We opted for their in house Countrywide conveyancing services wanting to keep everything in one place. From day 1 we were fully informed about each step and progress made, we were told as and when information was received which helped keep our side in order so there were minimal delays.
Gemma was such a warm and friendly advisor when it came to picking our mortgage, there was no hard sell and ultimately we found a good deal that we wouldn’t have been able to find on our own.
Kate was also a fantastic point of contact for updates on the transaction and was always at the other end of the phone, ready to answer any question or chase whoever was needed for an update. Completion was actually done before lunchtime on our set date because of how efficient Kate and the team were at monitoring our file.

My daughter and partner rented a property in hyde the staff at bridgeford tbh were useless they paid there rent 3 or 4 days early everymonth they never did a 3 month check told lies about the neighbours sayin they was really nice all they did was row and party at stupid oclock in the morning every time my daughter rang they was interested my daughter and partner and 3 children lasted 12 months but cudnt put up with it any longer so told bridgefords they was leavin wen contract was up bridgefords asked them to stay my 1 yr old grandson tripped in the bedroom and cracked a a tall mirror at the bottom slightly with his head yes with his head hes only 1 my daughter told them but again not interested well now after waiting 3 months they are wanting to keep 400 pound for the mirror its absolutely disgusting the deposit scheme say they dnt have a say yet its there money never ever use them again i could go on forever and tell u more bed points but no point its just a joke

After two months of unsuccessful flat hunting, I booked a viewing with bridgefords. Katie showed me around and is by far the best and most knowledgeable agent I have come across. I've been very impressed with the service from beginning to end. Katie has been very clear about the process and has kept me informed all along. Special thanks to Gemma (mortgage advisor) also. Being self employed, organising a mortgage can be daunting but she has/is helping towards getting a great mortgage. I will definitely recommend bridgefords to friends and family in the future.

I have recently bought a house through bridgfords denton and can’t praise them enough.
From the beginning, negotiations with Kate who communicated with me brilliantly right up to completion and getting the keys.
I was recommended to use countrywide services to deal with all the legal side of things, which can be daunting. So glad I did!
Gemma Lord handled all this for me with ease, which made the whole process of buying a house seem simple!
I would recommend using their services anytime.

We used Bridgfords for the Sale of our house and we couldn’t be happier with the service. Kate was dealing with us and was fantastic from start to finish. Our move took a little longer due to solicitors but Kate handled everything really well and always kept us updated.

Can't say much about Bridgfords really as wasn't buying or selling through them - the staff always seemed really pleasant whenever we went in though. We were going to Bridgfords to use a mortgage adviser who operated out of their premises. The mortgage adviser, Gemma, was amazing. We walked in on day one, not having a clue about the whole process, thinking we were not even in a position where we could consider buying our first home, but hopefully that we might get some pointers for the future and she opened a whole new avenue of possibilities for us. I was concerned we'd have to deal with a bit of a stuffy, condescending type due to our circumstances, but she couldn't have been further from this - so friendly and approachable. When we left her office that first day I felt like I'd known her for years and felt so reassured about everything. She worked so hard to find a suitable mortgage provider for us and trust me, it can't have been easy! She put up with a constant stream of emails from me asking (mostly ridiculous) questions and looking for support/advice and she always responded so positively and explained things in a way that even I could understand after being totally confused by the jargon used by solicitors and surveyors. She completely accommodated our anti social work schedules, even coming into the office hours before she needed to to go through papers with us before our shifts started - she went completely above and beyond for us and I can recommend her services enough. Thanks to Gemma we now are now out of rentals and finally have our feet on the property ladder, something I didn't think would be possible for years.

Saw a house marketed by them and made an offer. The agent called back and told us the competitor's offer (not sure why they were allowed to do so) and asked us to offer higher. We did and offer was accepted with a promise that the marketing would stop. However the adverts stayed and they even put up a big "for sale" sign (they didn't put up the post when our offer was accepted). They were rushing us for AIP and solicitor's details while the marketing was certainly going on. Then 2-3 days later they called back to say they had a higher offer so they had to reconsider our agreed offer. So we made a higher offer again but they quickly removed all the adverts. We called them and they said they had proceeded with another higher offer. To us their operation is clearly untrustworthy and contains hidden agendas.

Firstly the day I moved out of my out property I was told that someone would contact me regarding an inspection, as no one did I took it upon myself to make and arrangement with the office, I was told a time and date during my working hours so after having to take half a day off I was waiting outside the property then to be told that the inspection was done without me the day before. This should not have happened. As there was no issues I was told I would receive my full deposit back. It took three weeks of me ringing and going in to the office for Bridgefords to get in touch with the landlord before I was then told I had to wait a further 5 working days, it has now been 8 working days and I still have nothing. I have never had this problem before with other landlords, my deposit has been refunded the very same day. After speaking to someone who has properties that bridgefords manage for them this should not have happened. I am still waiting to receive my FULL deposit so I look forward to hearing your response. Overall poor service and lack of communication between the office, landlord and your property management department.

I had not sold a house before and had some concerns about showing people around and probably having to listen to their criticism. I was very relieved to find that Bridgfords not only found the potential buyers but also took care of all the appointments to view the property. Their communication was very good and they advised about some minor repair work that was needed on the house to aid the sale. I found them nothing but helpful and although there was a collapse of a sales chain in one instance, it was due to problems that other people had and not myself. When the sale was coming to completion I was informed of events at each stage along the way and the whole experience was much better than expected. I would like to thank them for sorting things out for me.
