Purchased a house through bridgfords ashton. I also got my morgage arranged through Chris the morgage advisor there. Vicky was the contact for the purchase and kept me informed every step of the way through from initial enquiry & viewing right through collecting the keys to my own first ever home. No question went unanswered, no matter how small. As a FTB I had so many questions, worries and Vicky was so helpful.
Chris was with me every step of the way with the morgage advice and application. He got me a better deal than I could myself! A true expert in his field.
Thank you for everything Chris & Vicky. I'm in my forever home so (don't take this the wrong way) I hope I don't need to see you again ????, however should I require to move i will not hesitate to contact them again for their help!

The team here are really good. Our family dealt with a few Estate agents whilst buying and selling properties. Bridgfords were 'on it'. They kept us informed at every turn, whereas other Agents would leave it weeks with no communication. Bridgfords have been amazing for us selling our house! From the initial valuation with Adam where what we wanted and what worked for us was put at the forefront of everything they offered us. I recently purchased a property through Bridgfords in Ashton. Overall I am happy with how everything went, they kept me informed throughout the process and addressed any queries I had in a timely manner. I mostly dealt with Becky (Rebecca Walsh) and can honestly say she is an asset to the company. She is very pleasant, well presented and knowledgeable. I had a concern regarding the property for which she quickly addressed and had rectified with the sellers.
I do have a small negative unfortunately, Bridgfords were a bit pushy with using their own conveyancers and mortgage advisor in the beginning when I made the initial offer. So much so, that the offer I had made was only put to the sellers once I had been to an appointment with their mortgage advisor (who is not cheap by the way especially considering many brokers don't charge a fee as they make money from the lender). Nathan tried to make some excuse up about how I had to prove I can get a mortgage etc however, I did already have a mortgage in principle from 2 different lenders, This I found inappropriate and if I was the seller I would not be happy to learn that Bridgfords would withhold an offer in this manner.
Anyhow, other than that. Cant fault the service provided and I am happy overall plus I got the house that I wanted. Thank you Bridgfords, Becky and Jodie!!!

Victoria Ashworth has been my mortgage advisor throughout my house buying process, which lasted for well over a year (this is entirely due to my indecisiveness). As well as being a greater advisor, she has also been a great teacher as she gave me quality advice on every aspect of the house buying process I asked her (I knew nothing about the process as I’m a first time buyer) and promptly chased up my solicitor for responses on behalf of me. I must apologise for ringing her up on her annual leaves and at out-of-work hours to ask for progress of the house purchase, but she has been so calm, patient and professional which eased my worries. Overall, she has been of great help to me and I will have no hesitation to recommend her as the mortgage advisor of choice to anyone who is looking to purchase a new home.

Superb Estate agents. I have dealt with a lot of estate agents recently and they were one of the only ones where nothing seemed to be a problem. Ringing early in the morning can sometimes mean you are greeted by unwelcoming staff;this was never the case at Bridgfords. Staff were extremely professional and Stacey’s customer service and level of care was first class.

Staff at bridgefords is absolutely unprofessional irresponsible and ruthless. Telling lies to both parties involved in any kind of let. Due to these unprofessionals i am homeless. Totally backing out of the promise of moving me into a property just one day before move in date. The staff kept putting in delaying tactics and excuses till last minute and the telling me o we cannot proceed with tenancy because of family issues. Its a joke. Disgusting

Couldn't recommend Bridgfords enough, they provided us with help on every step towards buying our first home. It was mainly Becky that we dealt with but all staff were lovely. Occasionally, replies took a while to come but obviously we understood they had other people to work with! Bridgfords acted as a really useful go between for us and the seller, helping us in several situations and, if they hadn't contacted us so quickly when the initial buyer fell through, we wouldn't have ended up where we are now!

Ashleigh did an excellent job for us. The worse customer service
Relocating from London to Stockport area, made arrangements for viewing a house and they called me just 1 hour before meeting saying that the viewing is cancelled. A total of 8 hours driving to Stockport amd back to London, 1 day off from the job, plus 100 pounds spent on fuel for ..."sorry the tenants are not at home."
(By the way, half an hour before our canceled meeting the tenants were there...we took a walk to see how the house looks like and we saw them.)

Abigail kept us up to date on all the appointments, confirmed everything by email and always rang back quickly when the lines were busy. We were sceptical about the value added by a traditional agent vs an online agent for the sale of our property but decided to go with Bridgfords. A couple of technical issues aside, the team have been great. Would I have got the same amount for the property through an online agent? Who knows, to be honest probably, but that misses the point; having someone well trained to deal with a tricky transaction and to help get it over the line without it falling through probably paid for itself and certainly made life easier. I've only sold up once so have no comparisons to draw against but I can certainly recommend Bridgfords based on the experience that I've had.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the team at the Bridgfords Ashton They kept us fully informed every step of the way, even assisted when solicitors started to drag their heels.
Bridgfords have customers on file, we had viewings booked before the house was on the website. Our house sold within 3 months. We could have sold it many times over, we got the asking price.
I had thought about using one of the online agents but reviews are mainly negative. Yes high street agent’s fees are higher but you get what you pay for, just add the agent’s fee to sale price you want, that’s what we did.
Again many thanks to Emma, Abbie and Ashley, would not hesitate to use them again or recommend to friends and neighbors
