We're really pleased with our experience with Brown & Cockerill. Luke was our first point of contact and oversaw the sale of our property. He was helpful and responsive throughout, as well as being professional and approachable. Aaron also offered sound advice throughout the sale process, meaning that we ended up with a price and buyer that we were happy with.
We ended up purchasing our new property with them too, and they were open and honest during the negotiations. They knew what kind of property we were after, and worked hard to keep us posted as soon as one became available. Sharon was very reliable and responsive with all of the viewings.
The whole chain ended up being in-house, and Ellie was great chasing things up particularly as we got closer to exchange. All-in-all we've gone from our first meeting with Luke to exchange and completion in just over 4 months, which is more than we could have asked for.

I just want to say a massive thanks to Leana and Isabelle, Isabelle was so quick to get me through referencing and I moved into my new home within a week, she ensured all documents and referencing completed swiftly and issue free. After having 3 evaluations through David Wilsons movemaker scheme, we decided to go with Brown and Cockerill not only because of their evaluation being higher than the other 2 but because Carl at this stage was professional and gave time to talk to us about potential value, market value and then gave an honest view on a quick sale without underselling the property.
We settled on a figure that would give us a good amount of equity while ensuring that our property was placed at a price that would sell as quickly as possible.
Aaron was assigned to us and within hours our property was on the market and within the first few days we had our first viewing, and what turned out to be an offer at our asking price.
The service throughout has been great, communication has been brilliant and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a decent estate agent in the Warwickshire area.

If I could rate a zero I would. I generally dont write reviews but I have to make an exception for this awful place. Rude customer service from the very beginning. Matthew was so so rude and very condescending. I cannot believe he is a manager. Granted there were issues with the landlord out of their control but they way they spoke to us was vile. I cannot wait to no longer have to communicate with them. It is a shame because every other estate agent in Rugby we have had dealings with have been so lovely. I would NEVER recommend using this estate agent. Moving out of the flat due to various issues but also fortunate that we are buying a house! When we come to sell our house we will definitely definitely not use Brown and Cockerill.
The only upside to Brown and Cockerill was Izzy Middleton who joined as a member of a staff there just before we left.

I have been with Brown & Cockerill since purchasing my property 6 years ago. I initially approached them with the intent of leasing out the property on a temporary basis however since my circumstances have changed, I have continued to run with their managed service and have to say I’ve not had a single issue with them at all.
From initial consultation and finding tenants whilst taking care of their requirements through to ensuring I have peace of mind; they have been on the ball. I think over the years I have spoken to most of the team and each one of them have been extremely good
For the past two years I have been looked after by Leasa, who I have to say is a true professional. She is very resourceful and quickly knows where to go to find a contractor for any works that need doing, she keeps me up to date via email and follows up with a call and always advises when I ask for it. I feel comfortable and reassured that my property is being always looked after.
Would recommend them to anyone looking to either purchase or lease a property. A great company.

if you want to rent a place don't bother going through this agency as they clearly don't know what they do.
we applied for three properties online and wanted make an application on each however it took them 6 days to respond, when we applied for one of their properties at 4 am we had a response the same day asking about our details and then we were left waiting 6 days and we had to email them asking about whats happening and we got informed property already has a viewing list even that we made it clear we want to put the deposit down asap

I cannot praise Matthew and his team enough. Despite only being the keys to my property a couple of weeks prior to lockdown, they managed to completely revive the property, and had tenants ready to move in as soon as the lockdown ended. Not only are they efficient, effective and professional at all times, they also respond immediately to every inquiry, and nothing is too much trouble for them.

I have, over the last 6 years had extensive dealings, as both landlord and tenant.
It's fair to say that lettings is always a contentious business from both perspectives but Matthew, and his team, have always negotiated these choppy waters in a very diplomatic manner. He's found the right tenants for my properties and on one occasion found me the right place to rent. I've a lot of time for the guy and in this game that's rare.

I had this company out to value my Mum & Dad's house recently following my Dad's death, They advised we could expect somewhere around £170k, maybe if we were lucky £180k…
We thought this seemed low, very low in fact so we had Carter & King come around the next day. They advised we could achieve offers around £225k so we let them organise an Open House and, 5 days later, 3 of the 5 people they escorted around the house offered us this figure :)
Guess who I would advise you to use if you need an Estate Agent?
I will write a review for Carter and King when the sale is completed but so far they are doing a great job 10/10

Great service from start to finish from Aaron and Carl. Appreciate their patience with me too as this was my first buy, and there were sometimes a grey line between what was the solicitor and estate agents responsibility in terms of my understandings of who should be following up. Brown & Cockerill were fully transparent, and it ended up being my solicitors being absolutely awful and sluggish with communicating. Brown & Cockerill therefore did a sterling job throughout.

A very friendly and enthusiastic team but they unfortunately failed to deliver the results we were looking for. We received only one viewing in ten days and had to push to get the floorplans promised in the brochure added. We were required to pay £350 to escape the contract and instead moved to Picklescott Homes, a wise investment it turned out. Picklescott provided eleven viewings leading to three offers and a sale within a week.
