I would not recommend using this company to manage your rental properties. Terrible service! Communication is so slow and unresponsive causing delays with tenants and legal processes. The management service is unprofessional, unreliable and has caused unnecessary stress and wasted time.

I wanted to my house in Beckton and approached a number of local agents for a valuation and commission rates. I decided to go with Bryants because of their central location and their professional but flexible approach. A suitable Buyer was found and price agreed within couple of weeks , at a fair and competitive commission rate. Through no fault on the part of Bryants, the solicitors took alot longer but at all times Les from Bryants and staff members in his absence, provided an efficient and exceptionally professional service. First class communication and updates became the norm. I would recommend Bryants to you.

Really terrible service unfortunately.
I turned up to a property for a viewing only to find out from the office, after I called them because I was stood waiting, that the agent had to go home. No communication from them apart from a confirmation text 2 hours prior to my appointment.
Very disappointed as I’m sure anyone who’s endured the process of property hunting knows how tedious and long it can be.

If I could give -10 stars I would. I am a relocation agent and have been in property for the last 12 years. I work with corporate companies like google, meta, citibank, the list goes on. I called up to book in a viewing with the Beckton branch. It was for a corporate tenant and the man on the phone said no. I am fully retained and do not charge a fee. He said " we only deal with our own people". I am really not sure why he turned down buisness from a corporate client. If I was one of their Landlords I would be furious. NEVER WORK WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE A RELOCATION AGENT

Somehow the worst estate agents in the entirety of London. Having attended a crowded viewing with several groups all given the time slot 11am to attend I made an offer on the property that was up to let. Subsequently after receiving no reply from them I found the property relisted at a much higher price. No communication from them at all.
They don't take well to any further communication as somehow the person in charge of this property was always "out of office" when I called and despite asking to be called back multiple times I'm yet to actually be called.

At least 8 individuals turned up for a viewing at the same time, they had people waiting around outside. Wasting our time, money and energy to travel just for them to mess you around. Not great business practice, completely wasted my time.

Do not sell your house through them.
Use purple bricks.
We enquired multiple time regarding properties on sale by them. We spoke to Hassan he never came back. Then we spoke to the branch in Stratford and she said she will speak to Beckton branch and come back to us. She did not come back.

We find a house to buy through this agency.
The agent was indifferent regardless of our situation.They dont give notice to the tenants to move out from that house so we cant make the completion date because the house was tenanted.After that finally we set the completion date and before one day to the completion date we set up to view again the house,what you think we find the house flood at the ground floor.They hid all those things.We were shocked little said.Everything turned upside down because we lost 6 months and also we lost a lot of money to pay all the survey also the solicitors.I went through this stress while i am pregnant.I think they are playing with the people and it doesn't hang seriosly of their job.

Our experience with Les and his team was very good, they booked our appointment super fast to see the house that we ended up buying, and they kept us very updated in the whole process. The only reason why I put 4 starts is because I asked them to speak directly with my husband as I am pregnant and the message was not passing, so they kept calling me, but this is just a detail, we really recommend them!

This company is a bigest scammers do not go there at all they just sit there to make people fool and take the deposit, they complete the paperwork and next day they call me that you can come and sign the contract and take the key but after that they emailed me that i tick the form incorrectly that's why they can't give the house even the half form filled by the agent, what kind of agent you are if i did any mistake they can tell at the time but no they planned to scam us and take the deposit.

I am seriously very upset with this agent, I recommend you to don’t go there, firstly they took the deposit from us for the two bedroom house and after then they called us the said that we will give you key and contract to sing at the same evening they email us that they can’t give the house because of references without asking us to give more reference, and and the next day said that there is another reason that we haven’t tick the form correctly and the half form filled by that agent he tick the form. Today I go there and the agent said that he can’t give the house and the deposit, what kind of service is this. They are scammers.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET SCAMMED DO NOT use this sketchy estate agent, very dishonest and lazy workers and the business are scammers, they don’t turn up to booked appointments/viewings or even call to say they can’t make it. I was waiting at the property and no one had contacted me to tell me otherwise after it had been confirmed multiple times. When I called the workers to find out where they were they were blaming each other saying they don’t have the key that the other person does and weren’t sincere or sorry at all. They try to make you sign a contract telling you your offer was accepted and make you pay a 2.5k non refundable fee then they take the property off the market. Then they send you an email the next day saying the offer has been refused after everything was getting finalised. There are a lot of red flags you will notice if you get involved with them. If there’s a house you’re interested in don’t take the risk.

Very rude people and very dishonest people I saw a property that I was interested in and i kept calling in to see if it was available the guy on the phone kept saying to me they haven't got the key call back in a week time so I call back but yet property isn't ready to view clearly on the website you could see that it was available at this point I jus gave up the guy who answers the phone is rude most of the staffs are so rude what's the point of putting the property on website if ur not gonna show to anyone

I have used Bryants for over 20 years to let properties in the Beckton area, and yes there can be occasional issues with delays, but this is normally due to them having to juggle the needs of multiple customers.
We have never had an issue with any of the tenants, they have found for us, which is due to them doing their homework properly i.e. doing all the checks required by law, of the tenants and yes of the landlord.
I have seen comments where people have criticised them for sometimes not considering some people on benefits, the law has changed and this is now illegal. However as a landlord I still have some mortgage / insurance products where they want to know if my tenant(s) are on benefits?
Another reason why I have stayed with them, is that they offer reasonable rent rates, yes I could get more for my property if I went with another famous Estate Agent, that drives around in Minis, but I'm more interested in tenants that can afford to live in my property and treat it like home, until they are ready to move out or buy their own home.

Secondly, I arranged to visit a property, 10m after the agreed time I call the agency which the rude individual told me: my colleague is on his way, will be there in 5m. (A lie) because the colleague TEN minutes after called me saying “sorry the key that we have doesent work so we’ll have to rearrange for another time”. I went there to waste my time. had two bad experience with them. in most recent one , i been showed property and i put an offer , Guy Called Hasan said he ill get back to me, after 5 days he sent a text he is having covid so contact directly office , i contacted office and talked to Les Estall (Biggest Manipulator) . he said landlord needs some electrical work done and should be ready within one day or so, i called him whole week and each day he has same excuse and advised me to wait. on monday after one week of hold he said landlord needs electric work and he cannot afford to pay for that at moment and asked to take property off from market , i said fair enough, at evening i found property as let agreed , i contacted Les again but he said thats not true and said he ill investigate, i been in touch hasan again and he said electric work cost £600.00- £700.00 and landlord cannot afford that( surprisingly landlord own expensive property but cannot afford £600.00 - £700.00) , any way i offered that i would pay that and can have property again he said he is gonna ask from landlord, after few days wait i contacted him he said landlord is on hold.
i found after 4 days that property has been let already and saw tenant living there.
This whole experience is horrible , they just hold people while property already goes under letting process so if that person move back they can use other person as second option , but they dont consider that people are human being and they should treat them with fair and clear terms. not to waste people time.
i would recommend everyone to stay away from these as they are biggest story maker and Liers.

The best Estate Agent in London. I was desperate to have a place ASAP. As soon as I stepped in their office I was welcomed by their youngest associate Hasan. He was extremely helpful & very professional. He listened to my carefully & asked my briefly what I’m actually looking for. He showed me the place on the same day & within 10 mins I made my mind. Had some more queries, he contacted the Landlord and get back to me on time with all answers.
While Hasan was away due to Covid Issue Les was always in touch with me & he was always updating me regarding this matter. I’ve to mention their Honourable director “Carl” who’s the backbone of that company always keeping an eye on everything.
All I can say Bryant’s Beckton is the ultimate place whether you looking for a new place either to Rent or Buy your dream house. A fantastic team is waiting there to welcome you & delivering world class services. Appreciate your service

I was very sceptical to begin with as i generally don't trust estate agents due to some places being comission based, but Hasan eleviated all of my worries. Staff need training! Wasted our time from the beginning and had made us submit very personal and important documents, every time i called back to enquire, hasan ashraf was 'out of office or busy'. Its not nice to keep clients waiting and lingering on and having to call back numerous times to chase up something when it its their job to inform is of the procedures. Dont bother with this agent - discriminating against people for having children or benefits - highly unproffesional.

I have had numerous problems with this company including their refusal to sort out a serious mould problem in one of their properties and they also tried to illegally charge me £50 for paperwork. When called out on it they hung up on me as they knew they were in the wrong.
They are quick to take your money but when you need something they try their best to ignore all your emails and phone calls.
They take advantage of foreign renters by saying there’s charges for things that should be free.
Plenty of better letting agents in the area so AVOID!

I am a tenant living at Emma Road I have been living at the property over 3 years now, every time I have any issue in my house I go to the office and speak to Asma who always help me to fix immediately.
This feedback is specially for Asma Albany Branch she has given me a great service, always very professional, polite with great comms and constant updates to make sure I am fully updated with the progress. I always ask her advise on other matters and she is always guided me with the correct procedure and I am so great full to her and her support.

A big Thank you to Les & Linda for handling the sale of my dads house in North Woolwich.
During the time the property was up for sale our family suffered a bereavement, which obviously meant the sale wasn't top of our priorities. Both Les & Linda handled this sensitively, keeping us updated on the progress of the sale, making sure everything went smoothly without adding any unnecessary stress to the situation.

I have been a landlord with you for a couple of years and have observed the diligence of many of your staff but in particular Linda Ferguson who has been exceptional. She comes across as very convivial, warm and very diligent worker. She takes personal interest in resolving many of my enquiries.Many times she takes follow up actions to ensure my total satisfaction. She has endeared herself to me with her simple but effective handling of issues concerning your patronage of my services.

AVOID THEM, PLEASE!!! We have been charged £500 for a deposit for a studio flat. I did mention to an agent that I need to know moving date 2 weeks in advance, as I have to give 2 weeks notice to my current landlord. Got a call from BRYANTS 2 weeks later telling me to move within 3 days time!!!!!!!! I did ask if they if they can extend moving date and guess what???? NO! My £500 went into someone's pocket in this tricky game without any rules!!!!! Shocking, disgusting, disgraceful, shame..........................

Stay away from these Cowboys. Despicable bunch of liars, thugs and unprofessional people!
We went for a viewing in Beckton, on the beginning of April and we decided to take the property. It was located in a beautiful residential and quiet area. During the viewing they told us the fees would be only 540 agency fee, nothing else, and that the landlord would be managing the property from there. Once we went to leave the 500 holding fee for the house and sign the binding contract, they told us that there would be more 200 and something for inventory but 100 and something for check in fee!! Also, they told us the agency is managing the property and every year we would have to pay to renew the contract!! When I told them that it was not what they told us during the viewing, they said that Maribel, the person who showed us the house wasn't sure about it!!!! Anyway, because we really wanted that house, we decided to go ahead with the deal and we left the holding deposit and signed the contract!
Then, 2 DAYS BEFORE THE MOVE, these people told us THAT WE COULDN'T MOVE because there was some problems with the landlord!!! So 2 days before the move, when I had everything packed, all necessary arrangements done, having to leave the house where I was staying with a truck full of furniture and personal belongings! Bryants, this despicable agency, didn't even bother to give us the exact reason why we couldn't move, neither give us the landlord details so we could try deal with him directly. Instead, they refuse even to meet us, and just said, here's your money back, now sort out yourself!!!! They also said - No worries, we have good news, you can take this house in West Ham that is exactly the same, but without garage. SO, after everything what they done to us, they were still expecting to take money from us, offering us a horrible house in a horrible area, saying "it's exactly the same as the other one"!!! After a couple of days we discovered that the house have already new tenants that moved in on the same day we were supposed to move!! Enough said!

History: Bryants opened at a time when the Beckton area was been developed 80s and 90s. Bryants used to produce maps, as many of the new roads were not in the London A-Z atlas (the days before SatNav!). Bryants used to the only agent if you wanted to buy or sell a property in Beckton.
My complaint is related to the Letting side of Bryants. Over the past 2-3 years, I have suffered from noise from the tenants they put in. The tenants themselves are fine.Twice they put in tenants with young children. (aged < 4 years). The young children keep running backwards and forwards. I used to get woken up at 5.30am everyday because the child would run around.
The landlord put in Laminate flooring on the first floor. So the combination of young children running around and laminate flooring, has made my life a pain.
One of the tenants had a dog, the lease prohibits pets. The dog would run around and you could hear the noise.
I did complain to the landlord, who had the cheek to tell it was my fault to live on the ground floor. Even though he had put laminate flooring, which is very bad in terms of noise. Plus, he had 5-6 people crammed into a 2 bedroom flat. One of the room, is barely a single room. Bryants could show some consideration, when selecting tenants. Especially for flats on upper floors.
Older children e..g older then 7 years and above don't seem to run around so much. So are fine for flats on the first floor.
In my opinion, Bryants should have been showing such families young children, flats on the ground floor.
Bryants are located just by ASDA and opposite Beckton station.
I have no complaint about their sales side.

If I could give this 0 or even a minus I would. THE WORST ESTATE AGENCY THAT I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE TO BE ASSOCITATED WITH. These people will take your money. Where shall we start? I came in to look at renting a property, after my viewing I decided I would take it and paid an odd 700 pounds worth of agency fees, this being my first time dealing with an agency I did not believe this to be a higher number than average since I had no previous experiences with agencies. When I moved in I found a bed that looked like they got it from a rubbish skip and put it there for the sake of it. When I called for them to remove it the lady (Kim) shouted down the phone and then told me they'd look into it. I am disgusted that they expected me to sleep in a bed from a local rubbish skip. After, I noticed the shower had no hot water and no pressure meaning if I was lucky that day I would get a rush of scalding hot water to replace the cold dribble coming out. After non stop complaining and contacting them for 2 weeks straight they finally sent out a plumber. Further down the line of my agency experience from hell, I got a letter from the agency telling me I would need to vacate because the owner wanted to sell this property (found out later down the line that this was untrue). After moving out I found that when I tried to claim my deposit back they chucked on an additional 120 pounds (failing to state this in the contract). When I came into the agency to declare for them to show me where this was written in my contract (as they didn't provide me with a copy) the manager couldn't even find my contract however they had no issue sending a supposed excerpt stating this charge. Finally I gave up and deducted the 120 pounds from my deposit as I never wanted to speak or deal with them again. All I am saying is stay away from this horrid of excuse for a estate agency.
