Awful, avoid like the plague! Rented with C&R for a year and have to say I never experienced such lack of communication and unprofessional behaviour in my life. Staff don't seem to be too bothered about replying to emails. When I came to their office to return my keys, after no response to emails regarding the return, one of the staff members acknowledged that she read the email but yet ignored my email until I showed up on their door? Chased them up on every issue and the only time they corresponded was when it came to deposit. When challenged on communication they proceeded to dismiss my concern and kept 'reassuring' me that they do communicate...If it's not an issue then why would I ever complain? Generally seem to have a money grabbing attitude and deceiving behaviour as advertised flat with dishwasher but there never actually was one. No care or respect for the tenants, glad I won't be dealing with them ever again.... Read more

Since starting our tenancy with c&r we have found them increasingly unhelpful. Although they may have been prompt in getting us to sign the contract for the tenancy, since getting the keys they have become increasingly neglectful. Very simple maintenance jobs have been left for weeks without so much as a response. It has only been through our persistent emails and calls, have we managed to get things done to make our stay comfortable. Despite both being reliable tenants who always pay rent promptly, c&r are making it almost impossible for us to renew our contract to a rolling contract making it difficult to organise living arrangements in these strange times. We are both key workers and are concerned that c&r appear to have their own interests before ourselves and the landlord. Due to their complete lack of cooperation and unresponsiveness we face the unfavourable option of having to look for an alternative place to live, which is difficult to manage given the current Pandemic, and the responsibilities we both carry as NHS workers. During this pandemic we have seen some examples of people supporting one another and community spirit, if only we could say the same for the treatment we have received from c and r.... Read more
