Discusting service, waiting for a phone call to book a visit that never happened, on next day call the agency again and a lady told me again they going to call me back but never happened, after a few hours they remove the house from the market.

I have taken rented flat from Capitol Lettors for 2.5 years in Peterborough. I have experienced them as being top of the list at finding suitable properties. They have also been extremely helpful and speedy in dealing with all the relevant paperwork any type of question, The flat was so good no much repair, and few small repairs were also done on the same or the next day. I have been with capitol lettors near 10 years and what I can say that was brilliant from beginning in 2010 till the end right now . During all those years I always get support If needed, any issue resolved in time. Specially I would like to thank Rick as I moved out during quarantine and many things I were not able to do and finish so his support during my move house was brilliant, thanks Rick.
So conclusion of all my journey with Capitol Lettors is that, If anyone of you still think which one or looking for letting agent please do not look anymore those guys is what you need.

I’d give zero stars if I could. Had a viewing booked and the estate agent failed to show up! My partner took time off work and I’m pregnant. We stood in the cold for 20 minutes before giving up and leaving. Tried to phone the office and it was closed. Very unprofessional. I never received an explanation or apology either. I feel sorry for the owner of the property we were viewing - I suggest you move your property to another estate agent if you want it actually rented out!
**UPDATE**
I had emailed Sarah myself when she initially did not show and I didn’t receive a response back. However due to posting this review publicly I received an email from her saying the reason no one came to the property was because my viewing had “not been confirmed”. I have an email from her, sent two days prior, saying
“Yes I can do 9am on Wednesday morning.
I shall see you there.
Kind regards, Sarah”.
How is this not “confirming” my viewing appointment? May I remind the company, I have this in WRITING. Not only are they unprofessional but now I know they’re liars too. My initial statement still stands — AVOID!!

The people were really nice To deal with. they gave us a move in date for me and my family and 10 days before we were due to move in. they have told us that the house needs a new boiler witch will take 3 months, witch has left me and my family 10 days to find a new place, or we will be homeless. When i have rang them all they are saying is that they are not at fault shouldn't have these checks been made before you gave us a date to move in. Thank capitol lettors big help

We have rented the property from Capitol Lettors in Peterborough. They were really good people to deal with from start to finish. Application process was really easy. Staff was really supportive throughout the rent and if we had any issues, those were sorted in a matter of urgency. At the move out stage they have offered to do a “pre- move out” inspection to point out on any issues. Luckily we’ve not had any. Unfortunately they’ve not had a property in the new area where we’ve moved to, otherwise I will stay with them. Highly recommended

Poor experience! Tried to call several times over the past couple of days regarding a property on peveril road, eventually got through to someone who was completely disinterested! I was quickly told that this had been sold and I would have to go and find something else. They didn’t even bother to take my details to find out what I was interested in.

This Company is exceptional! They have just sold my house in 5 weeks! Sale was agreed on the 13th October and have completed today 18th November 2016. I was dubious to use what is traditionally seen as a Letting Company. I need not have worried at all. Their professional standard applies to both Sales and Lettings. I would totally recommend this Company as their fees are competitive and their work ethic is off the scale. Nothing was to much trouble and special thanks to Lisa McNamee who went above and beyond to ensure that myself and my purchaser were informed every step of the way. If you are thinking of selling a property, give this Company a go. Think you will be in for a pleasant surprise.

I used Capitol Lettors to manage the letting and then the sale of my property in Peterborough. As I live in Belfast it was difficult for me to visit and inspect the property in person. I am happy with the way Capitol Lettors managed my property.
When I let my property, Capitol Lettors found suitable tenants quickly. The property was never empty for more than a week. If there were any maintenance issues with the property, they would advise me on possible solutions. They would also use local tradesmen at reasonable prices. If there were issues with the tenant then Capitol Lettors would deal with the issues professionally and ensured the issues were resolved to everyone's satisfaction. They inspected the property regularly and kept me up to date with the inspections and state of the property.
Capitol Lettors found a buyer within a week of the property being put on the market. They managed the sale process which included the tenant vacating the property. They kept all parties up to date of the process and ensured we were happy with the progress. Capitol Lettors ensured that the property was left in an immaculate state.
The staff at Capitol Lettors is very friendly and approachable.
