Due to our current landlord selling we were hunting for a new property, and came across a house through Pennell & Partners. Our point of call was via Sharon, who from initial contact, property viewing and plenty of questions, was always friendly, proffessional, knowledgeable and kind.
And also Bart who helped us a couple of times with queries, again very professional, knowledgeable and kind.
The process was very smooth throughout the application and the final handover.
We received keys and a welcome gift box full of useful information and some nice treats too (the gift box was a lovely touch and totally unexpected). Thank you!
We've had a couple of questions on the day of moving in regards to the odd thing here and there that may need attention and Bart has put wheels in motion for us straight away.
The team here (unlike other agents in the past) are very much on the ball and nothing is too much trouble to sort out, help with or fix, so far! So from first contact to key collection we can't fault them at all. It's been great! And we hope our relationship with the team going forward continues to be as good as it has been!

Emailed on Friday through right move called Saturday now Tuesday so I call again about the property. Had no knowledge of the property had to go online to find it for them for it to say let agreed. They didn’t know who took my message so sounds like they were never going to bother calling back.

I was in the process of completing a sale on my property. I searched in my desired location and could not find a property that I could set my heart on. I did however happen to come across a rental which I fell in love with.
Right from the start Sharon was highly accommodating, due to my work commitments and commuting daily my time available was very sparse. Sharon however maintained a high level of communication with myself via email and telephone and within days of initial contact I had happily secured a home.
As a first time renter I was naturally nervous but I was reassured and each step of the process and what was to proceed was explained fully.
I was greeted upon arrival to fetch my keys with a warm smile and handshake, a thorough further explanation of documents and a bonus “house warming” welcome gift box filled with treats, offers and vouchers for services that may be of use.
I am so far very content with the service I have received and with full optimism feel that I can see a happy future as a tenant through Pennell & Partners. I would recommend them to anyone seeking their services, it has been exceptional, highly professional, greatly appreciated and an overall positive experience.

If you are a tenant stay away from them! We met with Sharon who wasn't really nice and respectful since the beggining. Unfortunately, we tried to ignore her as we wanted the house what she advertised. They work with holding deposit while they carry out pre tenancy checks. If they put something to the contract and you don't want to sign because of unfair clause you can loose the holding deposit.We get to the viewing because someone lost holding deposit never know why. When I asked a simple question about the loft she did not informed tenants cannot have access to there. Instead of that she said I can ask the landlord later. She stated there is new carpet here later on it is revealed the underlay wasn't changed. After moving in and heating up the house it stinks. We got the tenancy agreement 4pm and next morning she was continously 'harrassing' us to sign the contract. She scolded my husband: why the contract hasn't signed yet we had enough time last night. They are applying extra clauses for the landlord's benefit. We got ourselves in a house with maggots, woodlice, carpet beetles and we can't get out from the contract due to pennel and partners unfair clauses in the contract. We moved to Peterborough from far. We requested the key on the day when we moved in on Saturday. She said way before the day it is ok she will be all day in the office. When the day came my husband wanted to get the keys in the morning she refused it with reason: she is busy with other tenants. She could have left the keys in the office we almost left out for the night with a baby without acces to the property for what we already paid.
If you are a tenant I wouldn't recommend to go ahead with holding deposit for any of their houses.

I recommend, I recommend, I recommend ... It so happened that before the upcoming Christmas I had to move urgently and I applied to several agencies. Everywhere I had to call all the time and ask for a property viewing or other matters. And only at Pennell & Partners, everything went smoothly.
They did their job quickly and professionally. I barely kept up with their schedule - apartment viewing, application, credit check, other necessary formalities, and finally the agreement and keys to the new apartment before Christmas.
110 percent satisfied and many thanks to the agency staff especially Mrs. Sharon who worked on my application.

Pennel and partners is the worst agency ever. Please if you see them in charge of a house, run! Because they will frustrate you and make things difficult. We had a bad experience with them, especially Tim from the beginning till the very end of our tenancy. They will make it clear that your interest isn't their business. Ended up paying more because of their unprofessionalism. I say again, Please run if you see them. I would totally not recommend.

Pennells were so efficient throughout our entire tenancy. Any queries or problems were responded to and resolved quickly, the property was maintained to a really high standard including re painting our front door. Checks were completed promptly every 6 months to ensure the property was safe and fire alarms were functioning. The checkout process was also completed really quickly with our deposit being returned.

As a first time landlord we weren't sure of all the ins and outs of letting. But Sharon from Pennell and Partners helped guide us through. As an independent company Pennell & Partners doesn't treat you as a transaction. So if you are considering letting your property or finding a place to live as a tenant, use their services. They're professional and friendly and have ethics. There are a lot of other companies around - trust me I know. We only went with Pennell and Partners. Their management rates are very reasonable. But above all we feel they treat us very well and keen to get the right tenants in. So well done. Pity there are not more companies around like you.

Theo was a problem firstly with the buyers mortgage as it was a buy to let them the leased air space for the solar panels
