Many thanks to Deana and the team at Cardwells ! My late parent’s house was let to a family who on paper looked like the ideal tenants, however they left the house in a right state! Deana sorted all the repairs on our behalf. She was great, she kept us up to date with the repairs before, during, and after. She kept us up to date regarding our application to the deposit protection scheme! She got back monies from the old tenant’s bond to pay for all the damage they had caused. Again thank you!

Cardwells were absolutely superb. A short notice appointment to suit my schedule, a positive yet realistic appraisal of the property, which though not a wreck, required substantial modernisation. Excellent communication, advice and service throughout. Cardwells acted jointly with Pugh's Auctioneers and conducted a large number of viewings. As a result of this, at auction the property achieved achieved well over the (already decent) valuation, and substantially more than the first agent to see it proposed.

For some unknown reason Cardwells Estate Agents Bolton came up on Google link, not the Cardwells at Bury, which this is for, so here is our review for the Bury Branch with apologies to Bolton. After a terrible three years with our old agents, we researched other agents, their reviews directly and indirectly, charges, services provided, and all other areas possible for Landlords. When a few were narrowed down, we asked direct questions, Cardwells - Bury, came out on top - without a doubt! Now we are in post handover, to-date Cardwells have proved diligent, friendly and so professional in all matters, a refreshing and reassuring delight to know, our tenants, and us as landlords are best served. I bought a house in BL1 Cardwells had full control of the sellers solicitors who took 3 months to send contracts over. Cardwells did this on purpose. I then decided to report them to the sra which is when they took the matter serious and contracts were sent. This shows it was a direct attack and done on purpose. This is a conveyancing transaction not a cbeebies episode. Each time you call a rude lady answers the phone. I feel this was a racist attack and i did not even entertain it. I gave it them back. They emptied the property when advised not too and this was done on purpose. Look at there reviews on Google worst estate agent. I am shocked. You call they say the handlers are busy which is a lie. I will be reporting to head office the bolton branch and Bury. I will.be mentioning the names of all 3 rude and incompetent staff. Last day of completion they wanted to delay it because of an item had not been removed. Why was this not done you had 5 months. Incompetent service providers. The company can contact me I will say this to them in person.

I used Cardwells to sell my elderly mother's bungalow on her behalf, and was impressed by the positive attitude, friendliness, patience, tenacity, good humour and sheer professionalism of all the staff with whom I came into contact. I was also impressed by the number of viewings they arranged and by how quickly they found a buyer. They made what is often a very stressful experience more bearable by keeping me fully informed of progress at all times - even managing to advise me of completion before my solicitor did! In addition, as I don't live in the area, they recommended both a house-clearance specialist and local charity to remove unwanted items. They, too, provided an excellent service. I'm not easy to please, but I thoroughly recommend Cardwells to anyone with a property to sell in the area.

Really can't say enough positive things about Cardwells, in particular Ric and Claire, who were absolutely instrumental in helping us move home. They were indefatigable in their efforts and went the extra mile on every occasion they were contacted directly by me. I would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in using them in the future or recommending them to friends and family. They assisted in being a middle-man not only between us and our seller (who also speaks very highly of them) but also ourselves and the seller's solicitors. If you happen to be wanting to buy or sell a home in the Bolton area, you could do a lot worse than seeking out Cardwells for help with your transaction. Our company has worked with Cardwells for numerous years but until recently I have never had the need to use their services, and their services really are 5 star. After discussing a property I had for sale which needed renovation I agreed a price and fee's, the price suggested matched my expectations and the fees I felt were very reasonable. That was it basically, they sold the property for me in 48 hours, kept me informed of progress and the sale was completed in the agreed time frame. I couldn't of asked for more and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. All of the staff are great and can be relied to the best they can for you. A nice touch is that they have ex-police officers working for them taking viewings so you know your house will be safe when they are showing people around.

Having tried to sell my house with a couple of different agents and being messed around, gave Cardwells a try based on a recommendation from a friend. Wish I'd done it earlier! The valuation stood up against what I hoped for, I was informed of everything, feedback from every viewing, and they got me an offer that the others couldn't. The post sale service was great too, I really couldnt have asked for any more. I strongly recommend this is where you turn if you want to sell your house

Cardwells have managed the rental of my property in Bolton for around the last three years. I live miles away from from what was my home town now, and do not have the time or inclination to look after it myself. I have been delighted with the way Cardwells have taken care of everything for me. I get in depth video, photo and written reports on the condition of my property frequently, and get monthly statements regarding the rent which is collected by them and paid straight into my account. I do not normally write reviews for anyone, but I am writing this so other people can see how pleased I am with the service I receive. Before I rented my property out I had heard various horror stories about what can go wrong. Cardwells have run everything smoothly with no issues and great tenants. Cardwells are highly recommended to all.
