I’d especially like to extend my appreciation to Pam she has truly been a star throughout the entire process. She not only pushed for a quick completion but was also incredibly patient during times when I was unavailable or when there were delays on my end in providing information. Overall, her service and the way she handled everything were exceptional, and I couldn’t have asked for better support.
As a small piece of positive and constructive feedback, I would suggest exploring ways to represent both the owner and the buyer more evenly to help reach a deal that feels fair to everyone involved. At times, the value expectations from either side may not fully align. I do understand that there are limitations, but open communication on behalf of both parties could help bridge that gap.
That said, it has been an amazing experience overall, and I’m very grateful for all the help and support provided.

We have just completed our sale and I have to say I am so glad we went with them. Excellent start with first meeting at the house, they didn’t offer the highest price to start but, they came across well, I trusted them. The description and pictures of the house on the online brochure were excellent, I would have bought the house.
They provided the service of seeing all of the people interested and flagged back their views of the interest level.
I received lots of offers very quickly. There was lots of interest in our house.
We discussed the offers after a few weeks and agreed the offer to accept (the highest). This offer fell through on money problems and the house went back on the market.
Second time same as the first, lots of interest, lots of offers and after two weeks we discussed with Cardwells and we accepted the second highest offer as we liked the people and they loved the house.
All throughout the process Cardwell’s staff were available, helpful and efficient.

Overall I had a good experience when selling my house with Cardwells. The owners that came out to do the viewing was well experienced and easy to work with. They got the property on the market within a couple of days and we'd accepted an offer in 8 days at above asking price. The house had previously been on the market with another estate agent and had fallen through at a price less than what Cardwells achieved. In terms of generating interesting and getting a sale agreed quickly I could not recommend them more. I also thought their costs benchmarked very well against the other agents we had out to look at the property, so cost effect and quick at getting a sale. I did find their project management of the transaction not great, they operated more as a message relayer than thinking proactively on how they could keep everything moving and shorten the process. I was the one that had to do most of the chasing. That being said, I've never worked with an estate agent that was good at the project management side so maybe I have unrealistic expectations. As I said though, their ability to get it sold quickly at a good price was second to none.

One of the few companies to offer a walk round video and description. Photos were of a good quality. Great communication, and kept me informed every step of the sales process. I would highly recommend using their services. Competitive pricing, but I believe they do that little bit extra in obtaining a buyer. Many thanks to Deana and the team at Cardwells ! My late parent’s house was let to a family who on paper looked like the ideal tenants, however they left the house in a right state! Deana sorted all the repairs on our behalf. She was great, she kept us up to date with the repairs before, during, and after. She kept us up to date regarding our application to the deposit protection scheme! She got back monies from the old tenant’s bond to pay for all the damage they had caused. Again thank you!

Excellent communication, advice and service throughout. Cardwells acted jointly with Pugh's Auctioneers and conducted a large number of viewings. As a result of this, at auction the property achieved achieved well over the (already decent) valuation, and substantially more than the first agent to see it proposed.

I bought a house in BL1 Cardwells had full control of the sellers solicitors who took 3 months to send contracts over. Cardwells did this on purpose. I then decided to report them to the sra which is when they took the matter serious and contracts were sent. This shows it was a direct attack and done on purpose. This is a conveyancing transaction not a cbeebies episode. Each time you call a rude lady answers the phone. I feel this was a racist attack and i did not even entertain it. I gave it them back. They emptied the property when advised not too and this was done on purpose. Look at there reviews on Google worst estate agent. I am shocked. You call they say the handlers are busy which is a lie. I will be reporting to head office the bolton branch and Bury. I will.be mentioning the names of all 3 rude and incompetent staff. Last day of completion they wanted to delay it because of an item had not been removed. Why was this not done you had 5 months. Incompetent service providers. The company can contact me I will say this to them in person.

I used Cardwells to sell my elderly mother's bungalow on her behalf, and was impressed by the positive attitude, friendliness, patience, tenacity, good humour and sheer professionalism of all the staff with whom I came into contact. I was also impressed by the number of viewings they arranged and by how quickly they found a buyer. They made what is often a very stressful experience more bearable by keeping me fully informed of progress at all times - even managing to advise me of completion before my solicitor did! In addition, as I don't live in the area, they recommended both a house-clearance specialist and local charity to remove unwanted items. They, too, provided an excellent service. I'm not easy to please, but I thoroughly recommend Cardwells to anyone with a property to sell in the area.

Our company has worked with Cardwells for numerous years but until recently I have never had the need to use their services, and their services really are 5 star. After discussing a property I had for sale which needed renovation I agreed a price and fee's, the price suggested matched my expectations and the fees I felt were very reasonable. That was it basically, they sold the property for me in 48 hours, kept me informed of progress and the sale was completed in the agreed time frame. I couldn't of asked for more and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. My thanks go to both Andrew and Richard for all their help and advice and I would highly recommend them to anyone selling a property in Bolton or Bury!

Cardwells have looked after our rental house for years now. We don’t need to worry about the tenancy, as Andrew, Dave and the team take care of everything for us. There are frequent property inspections, and monthly financial statements, the staff are knowledgable, cheerful and chatty. We have used another firm previously and are delighted we changed to Cardwells Lettings agency.

I called several estate agents in Bolton to arrange viewings, Cardwells were the easiest to deal with and the best by far. The viewing was arranged in one call. I am still waiting for some other estate agents to call me back about other properties as I either had to leave a voicemail or the person who answered didn’t know. Five stars for Cardwells!

Unprofessional. No communication between agency and current tenants. Turned up for a viewing which I had finished work early for to be turned away because the tenants wern't in, despite the agent having a set of keys for the house with him. Waste of time!

I cannot rate Cardwells Estate Agents highly enough as the service they provide is excellent. They dealt with the sale of my property professionally and in a friendly and informed manner. All of the staff are great and can be relied to the best they can for you. A nice touch is that they have ex-police officers working for them taking viewings so you know your house will be safe when they are showing people around.

to anyone reading this review i would like to say that cardwells have been a fantastic firm to deal with and i would highly recommend them , i found them to be courteous professional and above all else reliable, when they say they will phone you back they actually phone you back ,a rare thing in today's world .
cardwells was recommended to me , and i was told that "this was a family firm that looks after all its customers and does right by them " , and they where right

Having tried to sell my house with a couple of different agents and being messed around, gave Cardwells a try based on a recommendation from a friend. Wish I'd done it earlier! The valuation stood up against what I hoped for, I was informed of everything, feedback from every viewing, and they got me an offer that the others couldn't. The post sale service was great too, I really couldnt have asked for any more. I strongly recommend this is where you turn if you want to sell your house

Cardwells have managed the rental of my property in Bolton for around the last three years. I live miles away from from what was my home town now, and do not have the time or inclination to look after it myself. I have been delighted with the way Cardwells have taken care of everything for me. I get in depth video, photo and written reports on the condition of my property frequently, and get monthly statements regarding the rent which is collected by them and paid straight into my account. I do not normally write reviews for anyone, but I am writing this so other people can see how pleased I am with the service I receive. Before I rented my property out I had heard various horror stories about what can go wrong. Cardwells have run everything smoothly with no issues and great tenants. Cardwells are highly recommended to all.
