We have recently sold or rather exchanged contracts on my deceased brother-in-law's house in East Oxford. It was not an easy sale because of the state of the property and the complications of probate, family interests etc, but the two Richards were very understanding, patient and professional throughout the process. Having worked in property for 40 years, and bought and sold some 40 houses, (and even once worked in Estate Agency!), I hope I am fairly well qualified to pick the best Agent for the job. The two Richards at C and E are hugely knowledgable, seriously professional, and yet not remotely pretentious! They were so much more effective than well meaning but inexperienced competitors. Their advice on the sale of my house in Magdalen Rd proved to be spot on, and the cautions they voiced correct! Communication was always clear, with options and suggestions when possible. In the end their experience carried my sale through and in this years unpredictable soft market, those skills were paramount. This is only the 4th review of any kind I have ever written, but in my view they deserve my effort. Thanks Richard and Richard!... Read more
