We had an incredible experience with Wesley and team. They made the process simple, clear, and fair at every point. They had solid communication, they were prompt, and they were highly professional. The property was perfect for our family and they were incredibly hospitable to us.
Would highly recommend especially to those moving from outside of Oxford. They will make your transition to a new place so easy.

I had to rent a place to stay from Canada, without any UK phone or bank. Northwood helped me in securing a place. Janice and Mike really did a lot of efforts in welcoming me to Oxford. Janice was extremely nice and friendly, helping me to work through wired transfers and signing contracts. Northwood always replied emails within 24 hours, unlike some other renting agencies here (which I won't name).
Since I was new to UK, I needed a proof of residency for almost everything. Even getting the Biometric residency permit needed a proof of address (which doesn't make sense). I went to Janice on the day I arrived, and she wrote and printed me a proof of residency (with Northwood letterhead and signature) within 10 minutes. I cannot express the amount of appreciation to Janice for the help and hospitality she provided me with. She was probably super busy when I went to her office on surprise without appointment, but she still took the time to help me get things settled. Janice has to be one of the nicest person I've ever met, her kindness and selflessness reminds of family in this land far away from home.
Side note: maintenance takes forever to reply to you, but that's probably the same for most renting agencies here.

I used Oxford. Northwood as a oversea landlord. I feel so lucky that I found them. They were ever so helpful and efficient.
They would provide high standard service for both landlord and tenant professionally .
Myself lived in Oxford for 15 years, I tried a few agency as a tenant and a landlord before, I would highly recommended Oxford Northwood. They are smallish family run businesses, and they cares!

I have been in the property industry for over 24 years and am the third generation within my family to do so. This is mainly Oxford and north London.
We have noticed within the last 15 years, particularly in Oxford but also across the UK, that small family run estate agencies with loyal well experienced staff have been wiped out by large corporate estate agencies whom employ young casual staff on minimum wages - such as students only in Oxford for 2/3 years.
The Oxford branch of Northwood is thankfully an agency that still retains the qualities such as, experience, in depth local knowledge, loyalty (not changing staff constantly) and with that, the professional ability to broker deals and resolve problems logically with both vendors and purchasers best interests at heart.
I would recommend Wesley and his team, they still retain the personal approach and quite frankly put the large flash (massive overhead) corporates to shame.

First class service. I have been to multiple estate agents to rent out a number of properties I own and was not happy with the rates they were offering and it seemed there was no discussion to be had. Then I found Northwood Oxford, I found them to be very welcoming and discussed my needs and we came to an agreement which worked for both of us. As landlords we needed to sort out a full refurbishment and re-let of our property. We're very grateful to the Northwood Oxford Team who have been absolutely brilliant every step of the way. They organised everything from a full refurbishment, new furniture, right through to re-letting the property. They kept us informed of everything and no decisions were taken without our approval. We now have a fully refurbished property, with very good tenants, that is bringing in a very good rental. All the works were completed in good time and at a very reasonable cost. All in all it's been a completely stress free experience and we're very happy to be letting our property through Northwood. We would certainly recommend Northwood to anyone who has a property to rent out.

Northwood went out of their way to help with the sale of my house in Oxford. I live abroad and was so impressed with their service. Wesley and Suad were prompt answering emails and Whatsapp messages and kept me up to date with all aspects of the sale. Northwood provided me with a local clearance firm, dealt with questions from my solicitors and were generally on the ball. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them, they have been professional and extremely helpful in finding me a purchaser and achieving a sale price which was what I had hoped for. We were dealing with an associate who never informed us that the property we were looking into had already accepted a tenant. They lead us to believe it was still available, presumably so we could play the role as back ups. Offered to pay a holding deposit and they just told us the ways it wasn’t possible to pay rather than facilitating the transaction. Only after chasing him did we find out our property had been taken which he had been extremely reticent about, then he in a very nonchalant manner tried to move on to discuss other properties without apologising. I would actively avoid this agency unless you enjoy being treated like chumps.

Been renting a room at one of their properties, don't usually reply to my emails, been waiting for ages for them to advertise my bedroom, when I call no one seems to know anything or try to look for answers
Waited a year until they fixed the bathroom lock. Also they advertised the wrong bedroom in the house and end up walking with a person for a viewing in one of my housemates bedroom while he was in there.
There's only one person in the agency that is helpful but unfortunately I don't remember the name.

Such a bunch of great Estate agents! I'm French and had few difficulties at the beginning to find a decent room in Oxford at the best price...until I cycled to St Clements and found the Northwood agency! Very professional and sociable team, always having solutions for you and will find many properties across the city and respecting your budget. In 5 years I've been twice tenant of a room found by Northwood. Two years after my first tenancy the team was still the same and recognise me when I passed the door...meaning a good consistency of quality and passion for their job! When you're moving in, if you've got any issues they will react straight away(once I didn't have the time to change a bulb by myself in the bathroom, an agent was already there on a ladder!). Big thumb up to them!

Northwood Oxford have been an absolute dream to work with.
I was trying to set my property up for leasing in about 20 days, with no time off work and over the Christmas period. Once I got Northwood on board it suddenly became a feasible proposition: they helped me organise all repairs, cleaning and gardening needed to get my house in ship shape for photography. They then managed to get the 2nd people that looked at the property to become tenants, all over the Christmas / New Year period.
I could not recommend Northwood enough. One of the few times I can hand on heard say I'm unqualified-ly impressed and full of confidence in the service this team provide.

Have been to a number of Oxford agencies and Northwood were by far the most helpful.
We were after a couples room in a hurry and Northwood provided us two really good viewings well within budget and licensed.
Ended up confirming on one of them and they even expedited the move in date.
On paperwork they were helpful and they've gone out of the way to tackle issues with the house.
One suggestion I have is that the house has a number of issues and I'd suggest they do am audit of it to see if they can tackle a load at once.
To conclude: can't fault their service, their offerings, or their troubleshooting. Would recommend and happily use again!

Northwood agency, is one of the best agencies I have cooperated with, as far. The associates provide really high quality services! All paparwork were done online, really very quick and I needed to show up only to sign up the contract and pick up the keys! On the first day of my arrival, I contacted the agency with enquiry to change the bed for double. My emails were answered straight after and I received a phone call. After one hour I had a brand new bed! In addition to it, when I submitted my request to fix the door, the gentlemen showed up after couple of minutes and resolved the problem. This agency doesn't ignore tenants' needs. People who work there, are always nice and happy to help. I really recomend Northwood agencies and I will stay with them for long! Ellie

I have rented a room with them for 5 years and my experience has been very positive. They are very professional and ready to solve any emergency that may occur in a house, such as a bulb out and a boiler failure. Also, they help you in your critical moment, such as when someone has left the keys inside the room and is not able to open the door, as it has happened to one of my house mates, and I remember that Sujaad Ahmed had had to come very late in the evening for opening the door. I rate the Northwood Oxford Agents with 5 stars

I am with Northwood for nearly two years. I have rent a one-bedroom flat from Northwood since 2017. I highly recommend Northwood Oxford if anyone want to rent a property at Oxford. They always response quickly whenever something need to be fixed or replaced. They charge very reasonable cleaning fee at the end of tenancy. The application fee is also quite reasonable comparing to other agencies. I want to say that I am very pleased with the service provided by Northwood. Most important, Northwood Oxford always tries its best to solve the problems by considering the benefit of the tenants, which is very rare at current “profit is all that matters” era.

I cannot recommend Northwood highly enough. Having met with them and been very impressed with what they could offer, I instructed them to take full management of my property on their guaranteed rent service. They subsequently coordinated a very competitively priced, full refurbishment of the property on my behalf and I was extremely satisfied with the end result. They have been helpful and highly professional throughout in every respect and I could not be happier with the service level I have received from them as a team. Excellent agents and great value.

NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! At the beginning of my contract I had to sign the equipment itinerary and with the fact that the apartment is cleaned to the professional level. When I moved to a property, it was in a terrible conditions. Mould was everywhere, doors were damaged, there was an oil on a floor, piss in a toilet and mould in a bathroom. Fridge was very dirty. Some of equipment was missing...the agency came to check the status immediately. Nevertheless, the agency offered the remedy for this horrible state in a week. Cleaning service came after 14 days...Internet connection was very poor. The maintenance of the facility was very sporadic and always with great delays. I had to wait for warm water for more than a week. I moved out mouth ago and I still do not have my deposit back and I did not received any response from agency to my emails!!! I strongly discourage you from dealing with this agencyNEVER EVER AGAIN!!! I recently purchased a property that was being sold through Northwood Oxford and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience I had during the purchase process. Wesley King the manager was very professional during the entire process, as was the Northwood team that I dealt with. I was constantly updated and he did everything he could to ensure the buying process was completed as quickly as possible. He was always available to speak to and returned my calls very promptly at all times. If I ever need to sell a property I would absolutely use Northwood and would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking to sell their home.

I instructed Northwood Oxford to market my property for sale and the service I received was excellent. The manager Wesley King carried out a market appraisal of my property and provided a fair and accurate view of what we should market the property at. The property was marketed and an offer received in the first two weeks and the sale was completed within 12 weeks. Wesley was extremely professional throughout and provided me with regular updates on the sale process and worked hard in liaising with both myself, the buyer and the solicitors to make it as smooth and as quick as sale process as it could be. Northwood provided me with this service at a very competitive fee and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to sell their property with an honest and professional estate agent. 5 Star service!

The branch of Northwood is very good rented property agency. The staff there is very professional, responsible and considerate to customers.
