Initially a slow quiet 4 months with seller also viewing potential properties. Although with part time staff only covering 2-3 days a week, l am sure slows progression ! Which needs addressing plus 7 day week used to be the norm?? Even if only a couple hours a day.

Please DONT use Clive watkin. Undervalued my property that was clearly worth a lot more, corrected and properly valued by the amazing staff at Logic. The pictures were awful, yellow tinge to them and appeared edited. Customer service was very poor, and rude staff who were very unhelpful. They were also selling my buyers property at the time, and when my buyers tried to get more money off the purchase price, Clive watkin encouraged them, and actually showed no interest or loyalty to myself (also their customer at thr time). I'll advise everyone to not use them.
Ended up relisting my property with a proper estate agents (Logic on south road), and sold very quickly for a substantial amount more, they got me full asking price, and the service was brilliant!!

I had a mixed experience with Clive Watkin Crosby during my tenancy, and I feel compelled to share my honest review. My journey with them started off on a positive note, but it gradually became less satisfying.
When I initially rented a flat, Abbey, the former lettings negotiator, was truly exceptional in processing paperwork and getting me settled into the flat swiftly. However, I soon discovered that the flat, which I was told was suitable for families, was not the safest environment for my child. There were no other families in the building, and I became a victim of antisocial behaviour. I admit that I hesitated to report it initially, but when I did report it the second time, not much seemed to be done not even an email reply to my reported issue!
As my tenancy was coming to an end, I was bombarded with calls from Farrah and Joe to schedule viewings. I found this to be quite early, and there was no flexibility in their approach. Farrah even insinuated that if I plan to leave earlier, I should inform them due to high interest in the flat. This request felt inappropriate, especially given the ongoing issues with antisocial behaviour.
Furthermore, when I tried to contact Abbey regarding several issues, I was surprised to find out that she had left Clive Watkin Crosby. This information had not been communicated to me, and I had been relying on her for assistance. I eventually put Joe as my reference, but he failed to respond to the new letting team, causing unnecessary stress and delays.
To make matters worse, when I called the office to inquire about my deposit and who to contact, Joe assured me that he would provide the necessary information when I vacate the flat. Unfortunately, this never happened, forcing me to figure out the process on my own through my bank statements and old emails.
Overall, my experience with Clive Watkin Crosby was disappointing. While Abbey's initial support was commendable, the lack of responsiveness, ongoing issues with the flat, and unprofessional behaviour from some staff members left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I hope they can improve their communication and tenant support in the future and not take annual/sick leave all at once so there is always someone from the lettings team in the office to take calls.

I was struggling to find the right property for over two years until I contacted this letting agents. I was welcomed by Joe and Farrah who were very accommodating and showed me a few properties which met all of my needs. Joe took me to the first property and within an hour later the deposit was down and I was made up with not only the property, but how I was treated and cared for by these two professionals. My partner and I have recently purchased our first home together and can't speak highly enough of the service provided by Clive Watkin and Emma Morris in particular. Nothing was too much trouble for her, from arranging for me to see the property in the first instance accommodating my working hours to liaising with the developer on our behalf. Emma was great, even when we were probably quite annoying with constant calls and questions. If we were ever to sell, not that it's even slightly on the cards, we'd use Clive Watkin and request Emma.

By far the worst letting agents .
They are all nice till they get your money, after the deposit you won't get any feedback, they take several days to respond any email and fail to give you an proper response. NEVER sign a contract without reading the contract ! They refuse to refund me the money they should because they fail all the deadlines and they withdraw the property .
Simply disgusting, never see anything like this before.
Will need to take legal action to see my money back.

I had an offer accepted on a property and instructed a solictor and everything. 9 days later they are telling me a higher offer has come in and are asking if I can increase my offer. I've never seen this kind of bad practice before, once an offer is accepted and a solictor is instructed the deal is closed. No more offers coming through at later stages, bad agents wont use again. AWFUL

I’m sure all these 5 stars are legitimate but I’m sad to say my experience with Clive Watkin’s Crosby branch was nothing but frustrating and upsetting.
I appreciate the current chaotic context, but I was somewhat ignored and made to feel a nuisance by the agency after enquiring about a property to let. I was initially told a property would be available ‘late June, early July’ and any subsequent changes to this I only discovered by ringing up myself. The time frame changed to ‘mid-Jul and eventually I was told ‘late July, early August.’ At this point they denied that their initial estimation of June/ July was even said (which it was, we were both told this separately)
Every time I did ring some development had taken place without anybody letting us know.
Over a period of 3/4 weeks I was frequently told that the agents would get back to me with information/ updates. This never happened, and because we were eagerly ringing for updates regularly, the agents seemed like they were growing frustrated and tied of us for contacting them. We loved the property and were getting conscious of enquiring because of this.
I’m sorry to even be writing such a negative response but the care we received was minimal, we were by no means treated as valued potential customers, rather a pair of nuisances.

From a very accurate valuation (better than others in the area) through to professional, courteous staff handling visits to the property at times to suit me, it has been a very smooth experience. Particular reference must be made to Laura, who personally managed everything from valuation through to exchange, despite a complex chain, keeping me regularly informed every step of the way. I would strongly recommend this team if you're looking for a stress free sale and completion.

From listing to completion took 9 weeks, so to anyone looking for a pro-active, professional and accessible estate agents then look no further.
We have recently had discussions with Emma regarding another sale. Whilst we havent put the property on the market yet her advice has been invaluable, she isn't pushy and we would not consider using anyone else.

I would 100% recommend Clive Watkins in Crosby. I used them to purchase my house in Nov 19. My main contact was Emma who was brilliant, however, whenever I spoke to anyone at the office they were all excellent. Emma, understood my house requirements and recommended only the houses that fit my requirements. Emma was always on hand to answer any questions and went over an above. When Emma called to advise of a property that had just come on the market (which I went on to purchase) I asked could I see it right away because I was available. Emma, said "yes no problem, I will meet you there in 10 minutes". Emma, also patiently came with me for multiple viewings of the same property which enabled me to measure up, meet builders etc. Nothing was a problem, the big thing for me was Emma always called me back when queries were pending. My pet hate is having to chase companies for an answer. There was a delay in the purchase of my property (which was a legal anomaly), Emma and in her absence her colleagues would regularly keep me updated which was always reassuring as buying and selling houses is a stressful experience.
Not that I ever plan on selling my new home (as it is perfect), I would definitely use Clive Watkins.

Absolutely delighted with the service provided during the sale of my house. From the outset I received clear and well thought through advice. I was kept fully informed of the progress with viewings and the ensuing feedback, this was particularly important as I was managing the process remotely. The sound advice paid off as a buyer came forward amazingly quickly and a deal agreed. Emma and her team went above and beyond to sort out an emerging difficulty which was neither of their making or strictly within their remit to resolve but because I was unable to visit the property they stepped in to sort things out on my behalf. I put my house on the market with Clive Watkin Crosby and it sold within a week, I shopped around and had a few agents out but I chose Clive watkin as they were very knowledgeable and friendly and most helpful from the first phone call, they kept me informed on all the progress from the beginning with the viewings right through the sale.
I also used Victoria in their office for my new mortgage for my new home and got a great deal.
I really can’t speak highly enough of all the girls in there and would highly recommend them if you are selling or buying. keep up what you are doing girls xx

Had a viewing arranged for 11.15am, they then called me at 11.20am to cancel it when I was already waiting outside the property. I complained, then the lady on the telephone said she'd leave the office as her colleague is overbooked for veiwings.
I waited till 11.45 and then the lady turned up and didn't know anything about the property. When we got in there was rubbish all over the floor, wall paper pealing off, damp on the walls, plaster coming off - they didn't even have the pride or decency to clean the place. It was a complete waste of my time. I felt sorry and embarrassed for the nice lady who came to show me the property as clearly no effort had been made to prepare the flat for viewing.
I will not be doing any business with this estate agent again. The complete lack of care and professionalism (apart from the nice lady) is staggering.
