**WARNING** I would caution anyone against using this agency. They have proven themselves to be immoral, unethical and have acted illegally. I instructed them on an assignment and it became apparent as completion neared that they had been in contact with the other side without informing me (apparently they had a pre-existing relationship). This explained some rather odd occurrences during my dealings with Colston and Colston, for example they advised me to act in exactly the way the other side were asking me to without my telling them the terms the other side had proposed. Through chance I was informed by a third party that they had instructed a tradesperson by the other side. I confronted them and they admitted to it as if this was ok. Then they passed my invoice to the other side (without sending it to me) and asked the other side to ensure I settle it before completion. I hadn't said anything about paying the invoice, nor had I even received it at this stage - they recognised they had acted unethically and illegally so they made matters even worse by breaching client confidentiality to try and ensure they got paid. Unsurprisingly when I made a complaint they ignored their own complaints procedure. I have never experienced a company like this, I have reported them to RICS and hope appropriate action will be taken to avoid anyone else being a victim of their immoral practices.... Read more
