Purchasing a property through Sam Daniels at Knight Frank was a top-class experience. After scouring the Bath property market for a few weeks, we had a good idea of what type of property we were looking for. We registered interest at the Knight Frank office and after a short conversation with Sam, we had a great first impression and were confident that he understood our requirements. It was a pre-launch “sneak peek” post on Instagram a few days later that caught our attention (I’d recommend giving Sam a follow!). We sent a DM, Sam responded quickly, and within a day or so, we were first in to see the property. Sam was very helpful at our first viewing – consultative, transparent and professional. He answered all questions and had great knowledge of the property and the sellers’ circumstances – Sam had clearly taken the time to build a strong rapport with the sellers when taking on the property. Through our second viewing, submitting offers, exchange of contracts and completion, Sam was attentive, engaged and nudged all parties along at the right times. Sam consistently followed up on his word and we felt in capable hands throughout. The arrival of a food hamper on completion was a kind and unexpected touch, as was the celebratory lunch at The Ivy when we exchanged contracts. I must say I was very impressed with Sam Daniels at KF Bath. From the beginning to exchange of contracts he was proactive and tenacious to overcome bureaucratic obstacles. He kept me fully informed throughout the process and took ownership of the transaction with the solicitors. During the initial marketing phase he generated great momentum which culminated in a competitive bid process just a few weeks after engaging KF's services. I appointed Knight Frank in Bath to market my property in the surrounding countryside, which is an unusual one - highly designed, with an unconventional living space - that requires a creative approach. It was therefore a choice between Knight Frank, as a well-networked local office with a strong established brand, or one of the more recent entrants specialising in niche properties. On the basis of my discussions with Francesca Leighton-Scott, and her wish to push the design/architecture angle hard, I chose Knight Frank. I am so glad I did! Their approach has been superb, with all the tailoring and perfectionism of an architect (or the owner of such a property). That includes amazing photo shoots - two, not one, at my request - a stunning brochure with well-crafted text which I co-authored, and a round of journalism, including successfully landing Sunday Times "Property of the Week" for me. Last but not least, the visits themselves have been conducted not by a junior agent but by Steve Dean, a former business owner who spent hours with me getting to know the property and all the thinking behind it, building a real rapport with me and a passion for the building. He then conveyed this to viewers to remarkable effect (all have commented). In summary, this has been a Rolls-Royce service from an elite outfit. The firm's establishment-friendly brand and good reputation are complemented, at Knight Frank Bath, with an astute and stylish engagement with the "modern house" and "designed" market.
