Today I called twice to Cranbrook Lettings, as normal the reception staff promptly handled my call politely and professional manner. She listened me and the reason of my call and then took my details and forward my call to Senior executive. Whenever we visit to the Cranbrook Lettings, we noticed even the busy period the team members are always receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately. Receptionist always promptly answering call and communicate politely professional manner then forwarding to appropriate team member. I must say all the staffs are very well trained. Beware of False Advertisement! This agency do not think or care about us tenants whatsoever,We have letted 2 houses from them so far, on the last house we agreed that it would be unfurnished and have working fridge and washing machine.None of that was true.Both houses we agreed to the agency managing however the landlords seem to take management and the agency do not do anything at all. We have left both houses now and they do not help recover your deposit at all even though when returning the keys there was no problems.They give up managing but speak on the landlords side.The first property, we trusted the agents about the landlord but he kept the whole deposit and is refusing contact when we disputed (No details of reductions).Last Property, similar thing happened, False advertising (Landlord took half the garden he shows and house is not in the state shown) and horrible health and safety conditions for me and my children.He also lives in your loft with access to your home).Landlord took management and and kept majority of the deposit as rent arrears as we left the property on the date of the contract expiration.Mind you we paid for all of the property repairs and the landlord gave us 3 weeks notice(from expiration)for rent increase,not allowing us to give our 1 month notice(His claim for deduction).We left on the 13th of August and the landlord is deducting £1400 deposit for his mistake as 19 days rent.Not even including refunding us for all the emergency repairs.He also sent part of the deposit without allowing us to dispute. Suddenly the agency are again mediating despite 'giving up' management. The first property was 7 Buford Close The last property is 167 Redbridge Lane East.... Read more

This agency playing with people time and they lie to you in the face. They added a flat on Tuesday/(yesterday 2/04/2024), on rightmove. My wife sent a request on email late that day. I went next day in the morning at the agency and talk face to face with lady that manages that flat, and I gave them all details even more I said to her that my wife made the request on email. She didn't not even tried to find the email saying that take time but she says to me that the flat is not free for having views at this moment. My wife called them at lunch time and they said to her that they have already an offer and if the offer is not accepted they will call her back. After talking my wife, I went back to the agency and asked the lady why she did not told me that they have an offer and let me to spend time on trying to get a view. The lady laughed in my face and said that she didn't say anything of what she said to me the first time we met, even more that she had views on Saturdays and she got an offer. They are so unprofessional!! I am a good tenant with a fairly good annual income, we can provide reference letters from all our landlords. But I feel since I have a 2 year baby all the doors are shut for us like family and we get only lies.... Read more

Poor service, took down payment and told me that my rental offer was agreed and we talked with the landlord and everything was fine and agreed. After few days( after we bought things for the new house) they decided to cancel the rental offer and pay us the down payment. Shame on you and shame your company for doing these to people, I really hope only good businesses work in this field and not shady. I hope people check these reviews before they do business with you.... Read more

Basically I liked the house I viewed but they have done everything wrong, not willing to answer questions and not willing to view the house properly, the guy who showed me the house was very rude. Edit: 1) Was connected with/worked with different agents throughout my time here, seemed to be little communication sharing as I would have to explain the same thing to different people 2) Because of the lack of communication between workers I was told certain requests regarding the apt would be taken care of (by Shanu at the showing) but told later it's not possible (by Laxmi) 3) When working with Laxim, it was near impossible to get her on the phone, it would take approx 2-3 emails, and 2 phone calls to get in touch with her, only to have her say she is busy and would call back soon..which she never did. I had to start contacting her collogue (Shanu) who was much more helpful, to transfer me to Laxim if I ever wanted to get any information (I have emails and call logs to prove, we spoke multiple times only after a barrage of attempts on my part) 4) Made unreasonable requests and became upset and yelled at my guarantor over the phone when we denied these requests Original: Very rude, would leave many messages with them and no one would call back, wanted to get you off the phone as quick as possible...
