I recently came to the end of my tenancy agreement and I was awaiting my deposit. DW Smith conducted a long inspection on the property and proposed a few deductions. When corresponding with them regarding the deductions, they stopped all communication and continued to proceed with the process with coming to an agreement. I asked for an electrical copy of the snag list as I insisted the deduction I was being charged for was from previous tenants. The agency failed to forward any documentation and therefore continued to proceed with coatings without coming to a mutual agreement. All in all, very disappointing practice.

This is far and away the best letting agent I've ever dealt with. They have been proactive and attentive to detail in the management of my flat, providing quick and fairly priced resolutions to problems and getting safety checks done. They have provided advance warning of maintenance work I'll need to prepare for in the future. I now have a super tenant who is looking after my property well, and was found quickly. Julie Ann and the team seem to make every effort to look after both the tenant's interests and mine, and communication is a dream: quick, clear and effective. All this, and for a really fair fee too. D W Smith really are a breath of fresh air!

David, Richard, Karen, Sharon and their team were professional, kind and patient during one of the most stressful times we have ever experienced - the sale of our house. David gave us lots of his time and good advice, which helped us achieve the sale.
As with most agencies we have worked with, we would have appreciated a little more communication regarding the viewings at times, but overall we would definitely recommend DW Smith for the sale of your property.

I enquired about a property for sell and had to chase for a response then when a viewing was arranged after chasing nobody showed up to be then told you couldn't get hold of the vendor. We eventually went directly to the vendor and got our answer. That is my reason.
