Viewed commercial property with Mr Curtis, very interested, been waiting for an answer for 5 weeks, phoned 4 times, first time was told he went to walk his dog, then was out for the day, then just popped out for lunch, then was on holiday for a few days, all with the promise from the lady answering that she’ll pass the message and I would get a call back, never happened, not even out of courtesy or professionalism, total waste of time.... The first agent left soon after I signed up with them and no one told me. I only found out as I had not heard from them so I contacted them and a new agent came and it was like the process was restarted so the first few weeks of the contract were wasted. Then eventually I got one viewing but then had no proper follow up about feedback. They made mistakes with the floodplan which I asked them to change but after many weeks I noticed the incorrect plan still on Rightmove. A photo I had asked them to remove was also there. The agent changed showroom in the town during my contract with no communication to me. I did not see my house in the window of their new shop. The second agent was knowledgeable about the local market, gave a good estimate and was pleasant the twice I met her, but the general service and total lack of communication was extremely disappointing. I had no contact from anyone when my contract expired it was down to me to send them an email. I will not be using them again.... Read more

Please be aware of this letting agents. I can mension lots of issues, but I think that is personal. However on opening inspection they will not attend the site and will ask for marking up where both parties sign. On the closing inspection to the DPS the marked up agreement will be lost and a new blank document will be provided. Please be aware and if starting a contract or in a current contract get a copy of both signed rather than them keeping the both signed document.... Read more

Initially all was well and communication excellent. That was until Marcus left. Unfortunately then we had to chase repeatedly to speak to someone and kept getting promised a call back to no avail. Our sale eventually stumbled over the line but wish we’d sold with Paul Fenton who we bought from. They were much better throughout the whole process.... Read more

Very rude and time wasters that waste your time in seeing a house and filling out all the forms, when they already knew who's going to have the house. They put your hopes up seeing a home and signing out a forms ,Thinking you got a chance ,doesn't tell you that they house was already taken and they knew who was going in there ,very annoyed and disappointed this wasn't the first time they have wasted my time. ????... I found my current home from Derbyshire's 2 years ago. I feel lucky to be honest. Anytime I have a problem in the house they solved as soon as possible. They are both professional and friendly. If you are considering appointing an estate agent, this is the one you should use. I have bought and sold a number of homes over the years, and Derbyshire’s is the best firm I have ever encountered. My current sale hasn’t been straightforward, yet Marcus and his team are consistently diligent and conscientious, the presentation of the house on websites is excellent, and they are also great at communicating what’s going on at every stage.
