I don't normally write reviews but due to the exemplary service received by Symonds and Sampsons at Axminster, I feel I should share. From start to finish , the service provided in selling my Grade 2 listed cottage was brilliant. The advice I was given at the outset in order to sell proved to be incredibly important and the sound advice and knowledge throughout helped enormously. They go the extra mile and work much harder than other agents I have used in the past. An Estate Agent you can trust, which is so important for your biggest asset, your home. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We purchased our new house through Symonds and Sampson. The whole team were incredibly professional, friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. Would we recommend Symonds and Sampson? Definitely! Should we move again, would we use Symonds and Sampson? Absolutely we would!!!

Ours was a long and difficult sale due to the unique nature of the property, but S&S stuck with it. They managed to find lots of interested buyers, and after a couple of disappointments the sale went through. During the whole process the staff at Axminster were superb. Patient, tenacious and informative. I would recommend them without hesitation. Well done team Axminster!

We found our forever home with Symonds and Sampson, we had been looking for quite a few months. They made the process smooth and easy, getting back to our queries quickly and it was no trouble for them when we asked to view the property again so we could measure up. They even gave us a goody bag on the day of completion, very sweet of them.

On the whole the office staff were polite and friendly and appeared very efficient.
The only problem we had was that being a probate sale it appeared to us that details were not listened to or conveyed to the purchaser.
Luckily probate was obtained fairly quickly but then we were put under considerable pressure to complete very rapidly.
After completion Symonds and Sampson did not contact us at all which I found surprising.

After more than 9 months of failure to sell our property even though we had 20+ viewings and 4 offers (all of which failed) we moved our account to Symonds & Sampson. They told us that they would have customers ready to go and so it proved. Within 2 weeks we had a firm buyer and completion was accomplished withing the Stamp Duty relief deadline. Throughout the sale S&S were on the ball and liaised with us and the buyers very effectively. Naturally we are very pleased with the outcome and would recommend S&S to anyone especially if you have an unusual property like ours.
