I am happy to recommend the team at Enfields, Bitterne, for the excellent service they gave us in selling our home. The process of moving in the current market, complicated further by a need to move south to north, was fraught with stress and difficulty, but while potential purchases failed to line up for us, but we were never left in any doubt about our ability to sell our property.
Will Piercy and Grace McCluskey, always courteous and responsive to our concerns, gave us valuable guidance and helped us through the initial stages of valuation and marketing, not just once but three times, never pushing us and always giving us the best advice available to them, diligently and without bias.
But it was Louise Carr who, with her dedication and tenacity, remained our absolute lifeline. She offered us advice and guidance founded on years of experience, and she inspired trust from start to finish. She was always prompt to respond to our queries, by both email and telephone, and her approach made us feel entirely supported, however difficult things might have been.
When one prospective purchase failed and we felt entirely defeated, Louise communicated with a level of empathy and reassurance that gave us the confidence to continue, but she also gave us time and space to consider our position, and we appreciated that enormously. Once we had decided to move forward, she worked tirelessly, communicating with all parties to bring the sale to completion and offering support that was based not only on her skill and professionalism but also on her natural kindness.

I recently sold my property with enfields. I was satisfied with the service provided, I was given notice for viewings and found enfields to be helpful and relatively communicative. Once the flat was sold Louise took over the communication as she supports with the sale progression. Louise is an asset to Enfields, I found her to be communicative, professional and supportive. Selling and buying property can be a long and stressful process, however Louise made this feel manageable and was always on the other end of the phone for support and advice, whilst also proactively chasing the rest of the chain to keep things moving forward.

We cannot fault Enfields. We initially had our house up for sale with PB to try to save some pennies but the customer service we received was poor, specifically the post sale support which ended up with our first buyers pulling out. We made the decision to go with Enfields and so glad we did! Now if we are totally honest for a moment, how many of us ever feel happy with Estate Agents? I suspect almost all of us when thinking about buying or selling have a stomach churning dread of this prospect. To remove this feeling go straight to Enfields Bitterne.
I had been very badly treated by a purple coloured national company (and managed to get my money back) I walked in to the very clean and professional Bitterne office and told them my tale of woe. The approach to customer care is second to none. Lucy dealt with the setting up of the sale and I have to say all members of staff in this office show extreme professionalism and any one of them know all the information you may need to know about the progress of viewings etc.
Jack has been involved with my case and I have changed my view of the estate agent clan for the better. He, along with all the staff here make you feel that your business is important to them and that you are not just another notch on the sales target board. I do believe in the old saying 'People buy from People' For good value, professional advice and service give them a try. Well done team and keep up the good work. Others could learn from your example, and perhaps from with in.

We trusted the agents valuation but within 2 weeks they asked us to reduce by £25,000 then 2 weeks later wanted us to reduce another £25,000 to generate interest.
This was more than we were prepared to reduce but they told us that with interest in the property they could increase the price. Again we trusted them. We had very little interest and no offers above the price we needed to achieve our move. We then decided to remove the property from the market and rethink with the knowledge we had gained.

Contrary to many of the good reviews for Enfields Bitterne office I have not found my experience with them to be productive or enjoyable. Indeed, in the time I had my property on the market with them I was constantly chasing, phoning and emailing - several times a week - to follow-up on simple things like getting a "For Sale" sign outside my property, which took over a week to install. The branch manager and my point of contact decided to leave the business half way through while my property was on the market, and no one thought to update me, essentially leaving me in limbo while my property was on the market.
Further, I had only one viewing in two weeks with no feedback provided, despite me chasing the office on this repeatedly, which falls far below the standard of service I expect for the fees Enfields charge. In the end I cancelled my contract with Enfields I found their communication poor and their agents ineffective in generating interest in and marketing my property.
The overall impression I got from them is that they couldn't really be bothered to look after my property sale. I ended up cancelling my contract of sale with them as I was and am not impressed with the service they provided, something that falls far below the otherwise excellent reviews posted elsewhere. If I'm potentially paying thousands of pounds for somethingI expect service, which I feel was severely and unfortunately lacking in this instance. I will not be using Enfields for further business and would recommend that prospective sellers look elsewhere for estate agents in the future.

Jamie did the valuation, he explained the process and everything perfectly, I was never rushed , and more importantly I was not given the hard sell, it was this that convinced me to go with Enfields. The viewings were always very well organised and went without any hiccups . My dealings with Jamie, Jordan, George, and Charlotte were always professional, reassuring and friendly.
Louise Carr, well what can I say, Perfection personified. Nothing was too much trouble, again very reassuring, held my virtual hand throughout the whole process, took control of the whole situation when the odd hiccups appeared, made me feel that she cared, always went the extra mile , in fact helped me secure a rental property when I was struggling to find one.

My partner and I have used Enfields for two property transactions since 2017 and Enfields were excellent both times! Our first transaction was when we bought a property through Enfields. There were complications with the transaction and we truly believe that the main reason the transaction completed was due the the outstanding effort made by Kevin. He was very professional and showed effective communication by keeping everyone in the chain calm up to date. He was 100% focused on helping us get the sale completed and without his efforts this may have fallen through.
We decided to move to a new property this year due to the need for more space. Due to our positive experience with Enfields during the first transaction, we engaged Enfields without hesitation. We were very pleased with the quality and the value provided for the listing. We experienced some difficulties with the transaction again (starting to think a simple transaction doesn't exist). Again, Enfields stepped up to the challenge and effectively communicated with the chain, kept everyone up to date and got it over the line. Louise, the sales manager was excellent when it came to pushing things along and getting the solicitors moving and the chain focused.

We have purchased our very first home, Louise Carr at the branch had kept us and the owners up to date throughout the Covid 19 situation. I asked Louise if she could liaise with the owners at the time of lockdown if they allowed us sometime to review our situation. (something we will never forget). Louise and the owners were very understanding and accommodating and when the time was right, everything went so smoothly and quite quickly as well. Louise and George had also recommended Mortgage adviser, Solicitors and insurance too. This was so perfect for us as it was under one umbrella and so convenience. We agreed a very competitive commission at the start of the process and advice was given with a realistic market price which we ignored and marketed at a higher price. We had a bumpy ride selling our house but this was due to market conditions (brexit etc) our decisions and not Enfields. After a buyer was found it felt like we were working in tandem with Enfields to achieve the same goal of getting the matter sorted. Enfields helped our buyers obtain a mortgage and their mortgage broker even kept us in the loop how the application was going (with the consent of the buyers of course) which was reassuring as we were very keen to keep everyone on side. After regular check ins from Kevin throughout the proceeds the day of exchange came. On the day of exchange Kevin helped heard the sheep in the chain to make sure we all flocked the same way to achieve exchange (we had a 30 min window on a friday afternoon due to various lawyers appointments etc). We chose to go with Enfields after listening to other agencies pitch in what they could do for us when we wanted to sell our flat. With the others we listened to, they left a bit of disparaging comments for the other agencies, but Daryl did not do that, he showed professionalism from A - Z.
Our property was on the market for a month before we had our very first viewer who actually made an offer on the day. As with every house purchase and sale, there were stressful and frustrating times but none from Enfields. The whole process took us from May - October, but again, that was not anything to do with Enfields.
Kevin who saw the whole thing go through was of unspeakable help. He and his team were there every step of the way. Kevin went above and beyond, and always kept us in the loop and we will never forget his work ethics.

When looking at putting our property on the market we had Daryl come round to value our place and he was great from the moment he walked in. This was our first time selling a property so we didn’t know what to expect or even where to start but he answered all of our questions and made us feel at ease with the whole process.
When it came to the viewings Daryl and Rio kept us up to date with any feedback, we were always given plenty of notice before any viewings were booked in and we had 2 offers put in within 2 weeks!
When we encountered some complications later on in the process Kevin was fantastic! He must of call me every day for 2 weeks! He kept me as up to date as possible with everything that was going on and I constantly felt reassured. Kevin did everything they could to 1. Keep me sane! And 2. Get the issues sorted as quickly as possible baring in mind the problems we had were created by factors out of his control.

Kevin has been amazing at keeping the chain moving forward and even when it seemed like it wasn't going to happen, Kevin offered to drive our buyers signed contract to the solicitors to speed things up.

When moving house in a chain it quickly becomes obvious who (out of your, and your chain's, solicitors, agents, mortgage advisors etc) is professional and efficient, and who could do better.
Kevin and his team at Enfield Bitterne are a shining beacon of effectiveness in the murky world of mediocrity, frustration and inaction that prevales among much of the rest of the market.
Enfield have been absolutely on top of every aspect of our move, proactively chasing down information, getting things done and keeping us informed. All delivered with complete professionalism, courtesy and a smile at every stage.
If every agent and solicitor had the same attitude and competence moving house would be much less stressful. Totally recommended.

We are near to completing on our first house purchase with Enfields. The service has been excellent and we have always had quick, professional responses to our emails. Kevin has been very helpful with liaising with us in the final stages. Daryl who showed us around was accommodating and patient when we were showing the parents and in-laws around too! Sam always sounded happy when answering calls in the office. Thank you for making our first purchase a pleasant one. Can't wait to get the keys next week!
