If i could give 0 stars i would. They were so quick to do a viewing and to ask for a holding fee but when it came to actually moving things they never done anything. Called the office for days more than 14 times, asked for deposit even before asking us to complete an application, are extremely rude and said it was our fault that we didnt provide information when they didnt ask anything. They also refused to refund the holding fee when they were the ones who failed to do their job. Must be nice to sit all day and do nothing. Well done Katherine for doing a brilliant job by doing absolutely nothing

Went on a viewing with Liz, absolutely lovely lady who made you feel very comfortable and welcome. Extremely professional and was able to answer all my questions and was so helpful when putting in my offer to purchase. Made the viewing process very easy for me as a first time buyer as it’s quite daunting. Neil Mayes, the manager of Austin & Wyatt Bitterne branch has done it again! Neil promised me they would sell my house and they did in a record 4 weeks!! Thank you again Neil for your honest & realistic asking price, unlike some other Bitterne agents who seem to come up with a ridiculously inflated asking price to get you in their books but then can’t come up with any viewings, well there was 1 in 6 weeks! Neil knows the property business inside & out and I can’t thank him enough for his trustworthy advice. This is the 2nd property you’ve sold for me and I couldn’t be more pleased with Austin & Wyatt and Ella Fields (see separate review for Ella) 100% decent & honest estate agents!! Well done!

I have just got of the phone to one of the sales team at Bitterne. She wouldn't tell me her name. She was very unprofessional and did not know the answers to some common property enquiries like how much council tax was. Customer care should be a priority, she was not a good example of that. Kurt, abrasive and dismissive was her attitude.

I arranged to view a property and explained that I would be traveling all the way from London where I currently live. Upon arrival to view the property for the agreed time the agent was not there, so after waiting for 10 minutes I called the office and was told that the property had sold the day prior. Although someone did eventually come so that I could still view the property acknowledging their mistake, it was a wasted 4hr 200 mile round trip. This could have all been avoided if they communicated more promptly with me so that I didn't waste my time and resources.

Excellent service from start to finish,<br><br>Neil was very well mannered and had his facts in line when putting our house on the market, and had a plan of action in place from the start.<br><br>Had offers after the open day which was accepted,<br>The sale did drag of no fault of the Austin wyatt team but due to solicitors, and this is where they came into their own, if it wasn't for Liz who was overseeing the progress of our sale we would of no doubt pulled out of this and she single handed took control and took a load of weight off of our shoulders and was always coming back when promised with updates even if they didn't seem too important.<br><br>Hopefully a while until I Need to use them again but wouldn't hesitate to recommend

So at the beginning when we decided to move we had 4 agents coming out to do a valuation. Austin & Wyatt came to us first. One other agent never showed. Went with Neil from Austin & Wyatt who was very professional, explained everything from the start well and the house was on the market very fast with very good quality photos. We sold within a couple of weeks which was amazing. We had a abit of a wobble in the middle of the sale but not Austin & Wyatts fault but they cleared it up quickly and now we have exchanged and are moving in afew days. Thanks to Neil and Liz.

Caution, if you're selling you may not get the best price as they put buyers off in order to sell to local builders for a fee! I offered £20.000 more but they sold it for less than asking, I checked zoopla! Disgusting to think the little old man going into a home got ripped off!

Sold our house around January and I'm June still waiting to move! They said we would exchange contracts this week and then they phone saying it would now be next week! The amount of stress they have given my mum who just wants to move is unbelievable!!
