They initially overvalued the property by a significant amount vs what we finally managed to sell for. They also didn't initially do what they said they would in terms of advertising and the communication was spotty at the start.
I then called to raise my concerns, ended up dealing with the manager and things really got much better from then on. All the issues were fixed, we started getting loads of viewings and the communications were excellent. That's why we stayed with them after our sole mandate contract ran out. Things go wrong but it's how you deal with that that counts. And they dealt with it very professionally. If w definitely use them again.

They sold the house I bought and did everything possible to get the sale through, my actual estate agent really didn’t earn their fee. Fitzjohns handled the sale of our home in Longthorpe recently and we couldn't recommend them highly enough.
Paul Barlow in particular was excellent. Always responsive, proactive, and really helpful. Kept us calm when we were pushing for completion and worrying and whingeing about progress!
We transferred to Fitzjohns after a few months with a different agency who didn't get us any results. Fitzjohns gave us great advice about a more realistic valuation, and we were quickly inundated with visits. I wish we'd gone with Fitzjohns from the beginning, but happy now that it is all completed.

Fitzjohn Estate Agents were the agents acting for our purchase. From start to finish they have been very through throughout.
It wasn’t a straightforward sale as we had to await probate but Rochelle in particular was very on the ball and gave us updates weekly.
She was very efficient and we feel she went above and beyond for us. We were not only relocating but expecting new baby aswell and Rochelle helped make the process as stress free as possible.
We finally moved in before Christmas and got to spend our first Christmas as a family of 4 in our lovely new home.

Everything has beginning when estate agent inform us about STC house will be again available for sale because the vendor is not happy whith the previous buyer because the sale process is too slow, and as we look to buy a house, we can make on offer. The team at Fitzjohn seem to actually really care about doing the best for their tenants and landlords. As a landlord it’s great for me because I want my tenants to feel looked after and rent for longer. I also want to know that my interests are being taken care of too. Hollie has been brilliant recently in sorting a boiler failure whilst I was up to my eyes with other stuff. She listened to my requests, handled it all, and I was left with happy tenants and a clear understanding of what was taking place. Might be good for buying/selling but when you rent it’s atrocious. Waiting 3 years for changing lock or door since it’s not working right. 2 years to repair water damage and over a year for dishwasher. Rude staff when you speak over phone and only time anything was done was when we went in person to their office and spoke with boss.

I purchased a part exchange property that the Hampton office handled and dealt with Rochelle. She was an absolute god send throughout the process, often doing the chasing that our own agents should have been doing. We had a pretty difficult move being mid pandemic with children off isolating and all sorts and she handled everything with upmost professionalism and compassion. No request was too much hassle during what was undoubtedly a very busy time. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough.

Hollie and the rest of the team have been amazing throughout the entire sale of our house. Every challenge and hiccup was dealt with swiftly. Regular updates and constant communication meant I knew how the sale was progressing. We’ve had a bumpy journey through no fault of mine or Fitzjohn’s but we got there in the end.
I would highly recommend them and I’m truly grateful for Hollie’s hard work.

The agency is very helpfull and proffesional. I purchased house with them a while ago and liked their service. It was nice to deal with them comparing to sherman quinney. They respect your choices with mortgage if you want to go your own route rather than pushing you to use their service. It was easy to get advice and update of the purchase status. The guy which was showing houses was quite good as well giving you time to have a look without too much pressure.

We have used FItzjohn each time we have sold a property and cannot fault the service. They are realistic in terms of valuation and happy to have an honest conversation when an opportunity presents itself which we may not have considered. It is easy to get blown away and caught up in it all when an estate agent feeds you a dream but in reality that is all it is just to get you on their books. We can honestly say Fitzjohn were straight up with us from start to finish, always on the look out for potential properties for us, always at the end of the phone to answer any questions and genuinely a joy to work with. In a difficult chain where our selling agent was very poor, Hollie was the person who always responded and sourced information that others should have provided. I acted on behalf of my parents when buying their bungalow through Fitzjohns, everyone I dealt with was professional and 'on the ball' the purchase was completed quickly and efficiently.
My parents already had their house on the market with another estate agent and were tied into a three month contract, as soon as they were able to they had Fitzjohns market their property and it was sold within five weeks and completed hassle free.
I was impressed and had no reservations in recommending them to my daughter and her partner when they wanted to sell their property, their house was sold in four weeks.
We are currently considering moving and will be asking Fitzjohns to carry out a valuation for us.

We used there web only service and sold our house quite quickly to a couple who another estate agents sent round. This then fell through and we used them through a quick sale scheme by a devolper at my request. They sold our house quickly for 15k less than they had previously sold it for as in the contract from the developers we were meant to get to exchange quickly! This didn’t happen and exchange was delayed by almost 3 months! I found they worked really well for the buyer and had to be reminded who was paying them for a service. Neil I found to be unhelpful and unsupportive and only really had the best interest of the buyer in mind. At the end I think he wanted me to say I was grateful for all they done as it had gone through at just over 3 months the average to sell a house. What he failed to realise was we took 15k less as it was meant to be a quick sale. These estate agents made the process unnecessarily stressful and unpleasant. I would caution against using them.

He dealt with all the complications with my letting and was around whenever I needed him to co-ordinate deliveries etc, as I live far away. I have moved house twice in the last two years and Fitzjohns was by far the best estate agent I have dealt with.

Harry at Fitzjohn was an absolute nightmare to deal with, from the very start the viewing process was difficult, the offer process was worse. I felt like harry had a chip on his shoulder, I'm younger than him and work incredibly hard to earn the money I do and it probably bothers him.
He took ages to relay offers to the vendor.
He was annoyed when my usual mortgage advisor advised him that I had everything necessary to buy the property and insisted I visit his advisor Kat.
After visiting Kat and being advised that I was more than capable of securing finances, Kat told me she would pass the information on to Harry who would then contact me.
4 days later I contacted Harry as he didn't call, he said that he was going to call me and that unfortunately the house was taken off the market.
A week later I called and asked about the flat without giving my name, to which he advised the flat was still for sale. Lovely.
What an absolute waste of time.

You did not even give me a chance to up my offer just sold it to someone else. You say it was best and final but you didn't say that yesterday at all when I upped the offer. WHAT A NIGHTMARE ! - One of the worse estate agents I have ever used in my time of house selling.
Rude staff that are not interested and laugh at you down the phone, don't call you when they say they will and don't do as your ask of them. When they came to list the house the "Owner" was in and out in 15 mins, clearly not bothered or interested, very unapproachable! - A joke from start to finish, would not recommend at all!
