We were keen to sell, offered to do an open house, they said it wouldn’t work. We asked if we could go multiagency because we weren’t satisfied and were given a clear NO.

We decided to test the market and put our house up for sale. Sharman Quinney, Yaxley, advertised our house at the end of July 2021.
Our 1st and only viewing was booked by 9.30am the day the property went on the market. Two hours after the viewing we had an offer.
We found Sharman Quinney to be helpful and always returned our calls if we could not get through to them.
We experienced a hiccup in the chain, Sharman Quinney kept us fully upto date. Luckily the issue was resolved as quickly as it appeared.
We would recommend the Yaxley branch of Sharman Quinney

Phil went above and beyond for us, after being told by another company we wouldn’t be able to get a mortgage. Low and behold Phil worked his magic and we had a mortgage and an offer accepted on a house in a matter of weeks. Fantastic service from Jo and kaite and the rest of the Yaxley team.
After a night mare were the house we was buying pulled out, then our buyer pulling out, leaving us in the right at the beginning again.
Amazingly Jo worked her magic and my house was sold again on the same day the buyer pulled.
And my money for the searches on the 1st house we was buying was refunded ( £350) which we thought this was lost!!
Fantastic service, very hard working.

We first contacted Sharman Quinney estate agents several months ago when we were considering selling our property and buying a new home. In the end, we decided to not to sell but to remortgage our current home as a buy to let investment, and also buy a second property, using Sharman Quinney Mortgage Services and Philip Greaves as our Mortgage Broker for both products.
We were unsure how the process would work remotely as we were doing all this during lockdown, but we couldn't have been in better hands. Phil was calm and patient - explaining all of the issues we needed to consider, outlining our options, and answering all of our many questions. He was extremely responsive to emails and phone calls, going above and beyond, often working beyond his hours via conference call, going through every aspect of the application process and the various enquiries it presented. He was also extremely professional and hard working, dealing with our sellers' estate agents, replying calmly and swiftly to emails and phone calls as and when they arose, to smooth out the inevitable bumps in the process.

My husband and I were really pleased with the service we received from the Yaxley Sharman Quinney branch. We viewed the house we went on to buy many times, for long periods of time and both Jo and Chris were so patient and helpful. After agreeing the purchase they allowed us to view the house many times after with various tradespeople, sometimes even driving out to the property to give us the keys. Was on with another local agent who I felt didnt keep me up to date with feedback on viewings or how my sale was proceeding. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had and that’s right across all the dealings I’ve had in my 50 years with anyone.
If they put half the effort into doing there job properly as they did in harassing us for payment they’d still be awful.
If you are foolish enough to risk using them take nothing they say verbally get everything in writing and I do mean EVERYTHING , they lie continuously and their lazy
Sharman Quinny...... if you don’t like my review tough you made our life miserable for 9 months

Please make sure you read these reviews before considering any interaction with this company! Absolutely terrible service, rude, unprofessional and aggressive. They gave me a copy of the wrong contract and are aware that I have someone else’s full details including number, address, email address and full name. They’ve known I have this information for over 2 weeks, and they have made no attempt to retrieve the contract from me. I luckily swapped to W H Brown (the Yaxley branch) who have been nothing but fantastic.

Shocking communication and rude manager. Turned up at the wrong house (2 bed terraced despite booking to view 3 bed semi). Turns out another agent had sold it a month earlier and they kept advertised to draw in viewings for other properties. Same thing happened a year ago with different property. Wouldn't sell or buy with them ever. Avoid at all costs!

Absolutely awful!! I'd give them zero if I could!!
Arranged to view a property but was told I couldn't view it until we spoke to their in house mortgage broker. We had a mortgage all sorted as well as our solicitor, so we were not interested and told them repeatedly. They would not book in a viewing until we agreed (which we did but did not actually go through with meeting their broker)
We liked the property and put an offer in. We were told that because we didn't use their in house broker, that the vendor would favour any offers from buyers that had use their in house services - not only is this black mail, but also illegal as all offers have to be put forward to the vendor. Sharman delayed putting our offer forward to the vendor. I can only think they did this to be awkward.
They were terrible at replying to any questions/phone calls/emails. When they did they were rude and unhelpful.
Ultimalty the house we wanted, accepted our offer, only for a structural engineer to point out the house had subsidence and so was unfit for a mortgage. Sharman quinney told us that our (independant) engineer was wrong, and that their own engineer would of passed it.....which is a little worrying. I see the house has since been sold again, and I do wonder if the buyers have been bullied to use all in house options to make the purchase 'smooth' even though our lenders (Halifax) wouldn't touch it.
Wouldn't ever use this company to buy or sell! Be warned!!

Used once before. Appalling service. Promise the earth and fail to deliver on all occasions. They over priced my property 3 years ago which meant I had to take a massive drop for the "actual" selling price. Luckily decided not to move. Fast forwards 3 years and Im on the market with a different estate agent. One I trust, one with a better reputation and so far an awesome service. But tonight a knock at my door from Sharman Quinney wanting my business! Told them to go away, desperately trying not to be rude, but sometimes you just have to be. If they weren't cowboys and bullyboy sales people and had a better reputation and upheld their promises I'd have gone back. Dont touch them, but dont be put off with other brands under the Sequence umbrella. Just dont touch these! Tonights tactic was below par and the wrong way to do business.

WORST estate agents I have ever known. Experienced countless issues with them:
1 - When I first decided to sell I had them value my house. The staff member was not overly helpful when she came to view, didn't seem knowledgeable at all. Then when we received the valuation via post it was different to what she had told us in person.
2 - We wanted a viewing booked for a house we were interested in. We asked but were not given a time slot. At 5pm the next evening they called and asked where we were? We said er nobody confirmed our viewing.. they said can you be here in 15 minutes. Well luckily enough we lived close by so were able to, but honestly?! The communication is just shockingly terrible.
3 - We were interested in a property and before viewing decided to put in a provisional offer. The "manager" did not respond to our emails or voicemails about it so we did not go ahead with the offer.
Overall my experience with this estate agent was truly awful. They CONSTANTLY hound you with telephone calls about properties that don't even match what you are looking for! The staff clearly don't communicate with each other either as multiple staff members contact you at various points about the same property!
I would NOT recommend using this agent to sell your property - their staff come across as very inexperienced and I would not trust them to sell my property.
