STAY AWAY FROM THESE AGENTS. They rented an apartment under full management, they never ever turned up at the property at all. They did do proper credit checks on tenant, stating its not there responsibility but they used a credit reference agency that did check properly at all. Stay away from these cowboys.

I've called 3 times requesting the removal of signage, it's still up 2 weeks later after being up for months on end.
Signage is banned here and it's also on a highway road. I'll be informing all the relevant authorities if it's not removed by the end of the day (8/3).
The manager Dan said it would be gone by Wednesday 6th at the latest, still a whole week overdue.
And if you damage the fence, expect a bill for it.
EDIT: What is the point of your response? Just take down the sign.

I’ve been renting through Gibbs Gillespie for over three years. During that period there have been a number of maintenance issues. As the landlord lives abroad getting them sorted has been a challenge at times. In fact one issue was still outstanding until Abbie (Lomo Dash) from the property team got involved! She managed to jump on it, persevere, get approval and have it all sorted. I’m so grateful :)

Appalling! Mismanaged the tenancy twice in a row incurring loss of 20+k due to poor referencing and selection of tenant, poor follow up of defaulting rental payments, never visited the property even once despite the continued non payment of rent for more than a year. I shall not recommend this company to anyone. We are in the process of taking g legal action.

My property has been managed by Northfields, now Gibbs Gillespie, since 2000.
A lot has happened in 23 years, almost enough to fill a how-to book, but I'm finally selling up, also through Gibbs Gillespie, and very impressed by how this is being managed by the Ealing office staff.
Happy with their overall service levels, and very lucky that Abbie Lomo-Dash has been my Property Manager for the past four years! As others have said, she is pleasant, effective, open and engaging, but is also very tenacious and customer focused when a tricky issue has to be chased up and brought to a successful conclusion, as I've had with a number of these with recent lettings. There is no doubt in my mind that the average tenants' expectations have risen over the past few years, meaning the landlord, acting through an effective property manager is critical, and I believe Abbie is the best I've worked with!
For Gibbs Gillespie, the difference between a four and five star review would be the communications with Accounts.

I've been dealing with Louis King and Abbie Lomo-Dash, and both are doing an excellent job in tenant-landlord communication and management, following up with outstanding issues and keeping me updated on the progress.
Earlier this year, there were issues with holiday cover, but this is no longer an issue, as I have been receiving Out-Office notices when they are on holiday. This helps set my expectation on when to expect a response, usually only a short time after they return from leave.

Christine & Ryan's professionalism and all round skill really optimized our time and protected our family life from undue stress.
Christine and Ryan are brilliant relationship cultivators. They were dedicated in their duty of care to us as sellers. Throughout the sales process they remained focused, communicative about what was happening and why. They were flexible whenever this was required and motivational whenever hope threatened to wane. We have found them exceptionally responsive to any questions or challenges which arose in our onward purchase. Together, they have been a sage-like presence, helping us to experience our house sale and onward purchase as their priority. They have really listened to our needs and always showed insight and empathy into our circumstances. Complicated and pressurising aspects of the exchange process and onward purchasing of our new home could've easily caused us to buckle. Just a short note of thanks to Dushali for taking the pain out of the fiasco that is renting in London today. We viewed a flat last minute, and thankfully, Dushali held firm on allowing all prospective tenants to view the flat before closing viewings for the day. We were the last tenants to view the flat and here I am, sitting happy in my new flat after our offer was accepted. Dushali kept us updated on the whole process and it was pretty seamless. The key handover was to take place after I'd finished work on a Friday evening, and it was a testament to her good nature and diligence that she went out of her way in meeting me outside my flat building - after 6pm when I am sure she was meant to be finished. As a landlord experience has taught me that the person handling my property can make such an enormous difference. Abbie Lomo-Dash is that person. She is on top of any issue before you can even say Urgent! I get first class quotes, daily updates (sometimes many mails a day in the middle of a big project), and all with a smile. Just today I was ready and expecting to pay for a repair only to be informed by Abbie that she has persuaded the tenants to pay 100% of the costs. I almost get the feeling that she is a part owner in the property! How rare is this feeling of partnership today, and it's very important for me to have as this flat is my most important investment.

I've been a Thorgills customer since 2012 when I first let-out my property. I've always been happy with the service provided by the team in property management.
Most recently I have interacted with the Sales and Sales progression team.
From a Sales perspective I was highly impressed by the approach to market, the pace at which people were shown the property and how quickly a compelling offer was brought to the table. In fact the team, under Vito Szoma's leadership, were able to bring the initial offer up significantly to match the asking price without even speaking with me!
Regrettably the process since then had been anything but smooth due to factors far outside of Thorgill's (now Gibbs Gillespie) control. A special shout-out to Christine Andrews in the Sales Progression team who worked tirelessly on my behalf to ensure everyone was pointing in the same direction. Living overseas meant I had to rely heavily on Christine as my advocate in the process and she did a terrific job of keeping on top of all the moving pieces and keeping me informed. It almost felt like I was Christine's only client, due to how well she communicated with me, even though I know she would have dozens of ongoing transactions.

We've used Thorgills/Gibbs Gillespie for the property management of our house for the last 3 years. During this time we have had the pleasure of working with Haffeeza who has been outstanding in her management of the property ang tenants. Her organistaional skills are second to none, meaning any problems that needed fixing have been completed quickly and professionally. She is a great communicator so we always knew exactly what was going on and even though we live across the Uk we still felt like we were in total control of the property. Without doubt, Haffeeza has made letting our house as effortless as could be possible and we are hugely grateful to het for all her tireless hard work.

In general our experience with Thorgills was positive. It was a rocky start with an agent showing up 20-25 minutes late to a viewing without any warning (sorry can't remember name), which is the reason for not giving 5 stars, but when dealing with Matt & Natasha the experience was much better. Can't fault how responsive they were, we were kept up to date with progress of our application and they both responded to any emails & queries very quickly. They were also great in getting us round the property in short notice and helping fight our corner in the offer process. A few errors in the documentation which required correction was probably the only minor fault I could find, if I was being particularly picky, otherwise very happy with our experience and importantly with the property we ended up with.

My husband and I have recently moved out so are not with Thorgills anymore. However, we still think about how great Thorgills was, mainly because of Haffeeza who was our property manager more than a year. She responded to us promptly and tried her best to solve our problems until very the end of our tenancy. Also, she always kept us up to date so that we knew what's happening and made every process smooth by doing things so professionally. We sincerely appreciate everything she has done for us. It's still such a shame that we had to leave Thorgills but their service was really the best...!!!

Very thorough job. Very professional and on the ball at all times. My sale was lengthly as I struggled to find anywhere but they managed the whole process and my buyer extremely well. Was in the process of first time buying with thorgills. It was an awful first experience. First of all, they flat out lied to us several times. We did our research into the place we were going to buy and found out information from previous estate agents who had listed the property. We posed these questions to thorgills which they would have had the answers to, the responses they gave us were lies, we were quite sceptical from the start which is not what you want from estate agents. Secondly, they did not pass all the information and conditions of our offer to the seller. As standard, our offer was “subject to survey “ and we expressed our concerns regarding specific issues and said that our offer may change subject to survey. I expect that only some of this information was passed onto the seller as once they had accepted our offer, and we had the survey, which confirmed our concerns, we planned to get a quote regarding works necessary to see if our offer needed amending. The sellers were spooked by this and expressed they would not budge with price. At the same time, whilst stringing us along, thorgills actively seeked out other interested parties for offers (despite still being under offer and part of the conditions of our offer was for our property to be taken off the market). Thorgills managed to find another interest/offer, and the seller pulled out and accepted this offer. Thorgills facilitated this. They did not pass on the correct information and they contacted other parties whilst we were in the process of buying and against the conditions of our offer. We lost out on money, paying for a survey for a place that was never going to be in our reach. The sellers knew what issues were there as their previous prospective buyers pulled out for the same reasons. Thorgills fit the stereotype of bad, manipulative, pushy and sneaky estate agents.
- response to reply - it is not true that we "did not want to honour the price" we had pledged - we simply said we wanted to get quotes to know how much the works would cost before continuing - this is very reasonable. We were not given the chance to even get a quote - this looks very bad on the sellers part. You asked us if we were going to trying to renegotiate - and we said we couldn't say for sure before getting a quote - you understood this. It was completely unreasonable to expect anyone to stick to an the original offer not knowing the full picture. We do not blame you for the sellers behaviour. However, if you had been transparent from the start, we wouldn't have been put in that position.

Since the 1st time I moved to the UK last year and was looking for rental options, I was able to finalize my current place of stay virtually all the way from Dubai with the outstanding help provided by Thorgills. They went out of the way to conduct more than one video calls with me, so that I can really have a hard look at the house. I was able to therefore finalize by sitting miles away.
While that was the 1st part, the other chapter was when I moved into the house. This is where Haffeeza went out of the way to help ous family settle into the new house. She was always available and supportive. She was able to solve my queries and provide an appropriate solution to my problems.

They are not the cheapest Estate Agents in my area but get results like many others. I'm also convinced they have an internal team of Sales people who's sole task is to get Clients on board from other Estate Agents, and are relentless in their job. The hard Sale is not to everyone's liking. When I did finally succumb, Marketing my property was efficient and well executed. Once the property was sold the after Sales and follow through to Exchange and Completion was second to none. Well done.

Any problems I have with my house the agent hafeeza Rasheed is willing to make sure that all the work that is required to be done gets done. She has been a great person, whenever the workmen is due to do work on the property she always send me and email and give me a phone call. Last year my ceiling was leaking and the roof almost caved in on me and my boys . She made sure she paid 100% attention to the problem and make sure my landlord approval promptly to get the problem solved. I was really happy.

Thorgills were by far the most genuine and most caring.
Daniel went above and beyond all of my expectations and is just a really nice guy!
They brought prospective buyers that were actually interested in my house, not just to get people through the door! And actually the first person they showed it to bought it!!
Once the offer was accepted I was put in the very capable hands of Alice (Daniels wife!).
Alice was very honest and also very genuine, she didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear but what I needed to hear!! She was on everything and worked extremely hard to get everything in place, even emailing me back and forth at 9pm! I know that the buyer was also very impressed with her and the service that was offered.
I can’t speak highly enough of Thorgill’s, definitely not your normal estate agent!!

I have a been a customer with thorgills for almost 3 years. My review is based on the last 6 months with them, when it's about payments they will be on top of it in no time by sending emails and phone calls. I've been compliant with their requests seeing how good the service was on my previous tenancy, but on my last tenancy even though I cover all the expenses as per their requests I ended up being left homeless for a day in the middle of the pandemic cause they couldn't get every tenants signing the new agreement with my name on it. It looks like that for them that didn't seem like a big issue but after endless phone calls I managed to get the new agreement sign 3/4 days after I cover all the expenses by basically paying for those days without me actually having access to what I paid for.

We have found our experiences with Thorgills to be extremely positive. Daniel, Laura and Alice have been the stand out staff.
I think what we appreciated the most was the realistic expectations from Daniel on what our property would sell for in this market and not what Zoopla said / based on other sales in the area. I understand it’s a business and it’s in Daniels best interest to make sales but he was on hand to take calls after closing and back up his thoughts with actual sale data and what was going on in the area. We felt we could trust his instincts in this current climate.
Viewings were always professional when Laura was involved and she understood our thoughts and I didn’t feel I had to repeat the same things over and over to her .
Alice is Thorgills secret best weapon you never knew you needed . If you are anxious/ want things done on time and if like me you need assurance that it’s being done well , then Alice is the person who will calm your nerves, chase things up and drive it through . Alice has the skill to make you think you are not being a pain/ her priority when I am sure she has several other pains/ priorities to deal with.

I’ve just today exchanged and the service I received from Thorgills Brentford was more than outstanding from beginning to end. Trying to sell and buy a house is stressful enough, add a global pandemic it’s a total nightmare! However the whole team at Thorgills were extremely supportive, attentive and proactive. I’d like to extend a special thank you to Alice Madden. After offer acceptance her sole role is to keep the process running smoothly, updating all relevant parties. At first I thought this strange as many other agents I’ve come across don’t offer this service. I soon came to realise her role is totally critical to this mammoth operation, especially in our case which was a 5 family chain. She worked relentlessly to push things forward I can’t thank her enough. At numerous times I had reached my max stress levels, but once I’d spoken to Alice who was always 10 steps ahead, it was like having a therapy session!

You get what you pay for at Thorgills. Their selling agent fees are quite toppy but they earnt every penny of it. The service from staff generally is excellent and I would single out the following things: (1.) efficient process to manage viewings and give feedback (2.) Daniel Madden the Manager gets involved at the critical stages, gives informed advice and is usually right (3.) Alice Madden who managed the sale from the point of accepting an offer to exchange/completion is highly efficient, organized, and ensures that the transaction progress in the proper manner. I cannot fault them.

I had the misfortune of dealing with thorgills when I chose them to rent out and manage my property.
I have never used an agency where I have had so many issues with certain members of staff.
Thorgills did not represent my interests as a landlord at all, I was left to chase up unpaid rent myself and dealing with them as a whole was a huge challenge as a landlord. In particular Chloe and Shan in the chiswick office were quite possibly 2 of the most incompetent and unprofessional people I have dealt with in my life. At one point it was as if they had a personal vendetta against me.
I strongly recommend if you’re a landlord to not use them for management services. I must say though that Timour and Andre were both helpful, unfortunately not enough for me to ever consider using this shockingly poorly run company again.

4 Months later I am still waiting for deposit to be returned. They simply say that the landlord is not responding to their mails. This is a managed unit and based on this fact you get ZERO stars from me.
I will never rent with Thorgills again.
Updated. Further to the delays they use the lowest rated deposit protection company. Dps should be closed down by regulators. I had now been 6 months since I moved and still no deposit.

I have lived in a shared Thorgills property for over a year. We had some problems to start with, and some surrounding a problem housemate, the majority of this was out of Thorgills control. Thorgills were always quick to help us out and sort any problems that we had. In particular, Andre Ribeiro and Haffeeza Rasheed were always very helpful. I would recommend Thorgills to someone looking to rent a property in west London.

I am a 51 year male and over many years I has rented several properties in three different countries. I have always had a wonderful relationship with my landlords and/or agents.
In 2019 I rented a property that was managed by Thorgills Brentford. In 2020 I became unemployed due to Covid-19 lockdown. I started having rent arrears so had to give notice on my property and place everything in storage.
Before my move out date I had to go away to care for someone who had recently come out of ICU and needed a carer in isolation. Thorgills were aware I was away so entered my property without informing me and handled my personal belongings. They were not aware I had CCTV recording them in my property.
After I vacated the house the landlord contacted me to thank me for looking after his property. He said that the rent arrears were covered by his insurance. I was to contact the insurance company to discuss repayment of my arrears. The landlord also said he had contacted Thorgills and instructed them to release the deposit back to me.
Subsequently the insurance company has refused to discuss a payment plan from me for the arrears. They insist my deposit be handed over to them. Thorgills have chosen to bloke the refund of the deposit to me. They said I have to hand it over to the insurance company. This is against the instructions of their client, the landlord.

The first year, especially early on in our tenancy, Thorgills were generally terrible. There were numerous mistakes, from getting our move in date wrong to basic questions not being answered for months. However after this the service became far better, due to dealing with different staff perhaps. For the past year, we have dealt primarily with Haffeeza Rasheed who we would like to single out as being incredible throughout. She has been extremely professional, friendly, helpful, efficient, easy to contact, and made everything much easier. We wish we could have had her as our main port of call from the beginning. The 5 stars is based on Haffeeza’s service. But as I mentioned, in general there has been a huge improvement from the beginning with Thorgills as a whole too.

I first made contact with Thorgills after responding to an advertisement placed on spareroom.com by their HMO services manger, Andre. Andre was very helpful and accommodating for the fact that I was moving from Manchester to London and was able to provide me with a video tour of the flat I was interested in which was very convenient and saved me a lot of time.
After I had made an offer to Andre administration duties were transferred to Alice, who was again very accommodating of my need to work through the process remotely. Thorgills use the most up to date technology to ensure that payments are made securely and contracts can be signed securely by remotely operating parties which I found to be very reassuring.
I have rented numerous properties from private landlords over the last 15 years at locations all over the country and the standard of professionalism and service provided by this agency really raises the bar beyond previous expectations. I therefore cannot recommend their service highly enough.

Incredibly rude property manager who had a tendency to lie, shout and bully across the phone. Continued lethargy to fix and maintain the property with vital amenities such as a toilet seat broken for months. Key details about the property were falsified including the number of tenants. Poor cleaning services. Deplorably difficult company that refuse to help tenants unless it is in their interest. Avoid.

Thorgills appear not to be able to deliver on even the basics of our letting agreement. If you are considering letting your property, I strongly advise that you try other agents before you go to Thorgills. A very, very expensive decision to use them. Multiple issues now being referred to the ombudsman.

Not a great Experience with Thorgills when renting. Tried to change £70 for a brief room clean and charged £120 to fix an already broken fire alarm. They also had the tendency to neglect their responisbility as landlords. Several times the house had no heating, Electric and wifi.

Unfortunately they are lead by an extremely incompetent childish person(managing director Ben Madden) who seems to be the star of their very own cowboy show! Chloe Harte is another name to be aware of but seems there are many pawns in this company’s mess of affairs. STAY AWAY!! Staff are very friendly but .....Be careful and ensure anything agreed over the phone is backed up in writing. A lot of the agreed details were changed in the contract, which required my eagle eyes to keep pick up and get changed. IMHO- This was very disingenuous.
Unfortunately- i didn’t pickup all the agreed details that somehow got swapped in the contract.

Had bad experience with Thorgills when we were buying a property.
Thought we will give them a 2nd chance with rental. I have to say the experience was even worse. Deal has just fallen through because of clear greed and lack of commonsense. If they had any concern about their customers, they would use more commonsense and negotiation skills to get deals through.
It baffles me that they then start Change.org campaign asking for help from the Chancellor when they don't help themselves. Probably just another chance of getting in some money!

I have an interest in several properties in the Brentford area, furthermore my partner is Julia Quilliam of Quilliam property services.
In the last year I have put three of my houses up for sale or let and within hours, my tenants have had a knock on the door by Thorgills asking who the owner is.
Thorgills informing them that they have mystery buyers and that they should switch agents. One of our vendors believed them and switched but after a few weeks realised that he had been duped by the pack of lies he had been told, thankfully he came back to Quilliam’s who sold his property.
I have rang Thorgills and told them of my disgust at this sharp practice, Thorgills must be desperate, they have been closing branches and making redundancies, yet they claim to be the most successful agents in the area !! Absolute rubbish !!
If your going to use a local agent, use one that that doesn’t try and tout everyone else’s boards, has a good honest track record and doesn’t lie through their teeth to get you signed up and who actually knows the area.

Paid holding deposit and first month's rent and in 2 days was supposed to move in to a flat. 2 days before move in these guys called me to say that the landlord has given his flat his friend and they were sorry !! I had to stay in a hotel with my family for a month before I found something else.
I am curious what for the holding deposit was for which the sales guy hurried me to pay by calling at least 6-7 times in a day !! Doesnt Thorgills have any contract with the landlords .. they can just walk away anytime !!
Useless agents .. best avoided. I am going in for legal advice as I am the only one who bled in this whole process. These guys just make a call and their accountability is done !

Couldn't recommend Thorgills enough! Recently moved into a property managed by Thorgills and from the off the whole experience has been pleasant, especially the 'move in' process. Amy in administration was nothing but helpful, with a quick response to emails and happy to answer all our questions she made the process incredibly easy.

Although most of the things may be sugarcoated in the beginning, try to avoid them as much as possible. This was the first estate agency I have used in UK and while beginning tenancy was fine, later I realized you need to have proof about literally everything you talk to them - otherwise they will try to rip you off. They never say they were wrong and basic services during check out cost you loads of money. I was charged 70 pounds to clean a sofa and they charged me 35 pounds because I left broken vacuum in the apartment. The problem was - I was the one to pay for it because they didn’t give me replacement for almost two years. I could just throw it away, but instead I gave them the opportunity to milk some money. Since April I have switched to another estate agency and now I finally feel treated like a human being. I repeat - AVOID THEM.

My partner and I were looking to rent a place for just the two of us. After having seen some pretty poor places with really crazy prices, I decided to send a general email through Zoopla to several estate agents. The most impressive place was the one we received from Ahmed, from Thorgills Brentford. We went to see it and arrived late due to traffic. Ahmed was very understanding. and contacted the tenants, asking if they were ok for us to arrive later, last viewing of the day! They agreed and once we arrived, Ahmed came and parked in a rush to greet us. We saw the flat and we absolutely loved it! So we asked Ahmed to put an offer right there and then. Then Ahmed noticed that he had received a parking fine. He didn’t flinch, said to us not too worry! Now Ahmed is 21 I think, (we talked a lot) and I was so impressed with his service that I made a promise to him to pay his fine if the landlord accepted our offer. (I was worried as due to past problems I do not have the best credit history) Ahmed listened to the story of my life and to how I have turned things around with the help of my partner... and I mean, he really listened. Our offer got accepted pending referencing and I paid Ahmed’s fine as promised, because he cared and he was sincerely great. And basically this is how every member of Thorgills did from then on, the branch manager, the gentleman who took copies of our ID’s (one of them is called Dany, can’t remember which one ????,) the office manager, I’m not sure but I think her name is Christine, she’s was really nice and obviously Natasha, who I bombarded with questions, emails, visits, etc., as I was waiting to hear the outcome of our application and referencing. Natasha, calmly, politely and efficiently answered all my questions, she’s great! We cannot fault the service at Thorgills Brentford, as each one of them truly listened and showed real care and I have no doubt they put a good word about us to the landlord. Thank you all! We are awaiting our moving in date and can’t stop making plans for the flat. I also loved that everything with Thorgills is made electronically and also that they are in partnership with Experian, so every time we will pay our rent in time, our credit ratings will steadily improve. Great idea for people who had debt problems before and had turned a leaf. Thank you all, we have recommended you to everyone that have seen pictures of the flat.

From our experience with the previous agent, my husband and I didn't have any expectations at all. But Thorgills is different. The best agent ever.
The reason why I think Thorgills is the best is because of Kat Felton from the property management department who has been really kind and helpful. She gives us quick responses and solutions whenever we had problems and always makes sure that the problems are solved and we are satisfied with the services. Thank you so much Kat!!
On top of all that, Amy Love has been really amazing as well. She is such a lovely and kind person and helped us go though the administration process without any problems and has been always there to provide any information and help we needed.
My husband and I are gratefully impressed by their outstanding services and we could confidently recommend Thorgills to our friends. Thanks you both a million!!

We recently purchased through Thorgills and were met with mixed opinions. Firstly the selling agent Ryan was rather helpful and kept us informed of the sales progress in the early stages however we were then assigned a sales progresser who also kept us informed early on. However we were then assigned a further sales progresser named Alice at the Ealing branch. Unfortunately our experience with Alice was not so positive as she was extremely pushy and tried to rush the sale from our end. She was not very helpful in regards to our queries to the seller but when it came to queries regarding us, she was unnecessarily persistent and somewhat irritating.

The worst experience I had ever, after seen the flat in Firestone House, Brentford and reserved it by paying the deposit required, the agent Ryan, B has informed me that the LANDLORD DOES NOT WANT CHILDREN TO BE IN THE FLAT. Knowing that I have 3yrs old child since first viewing and (Ryan, B) did not mention any restrictions regarding having my 3yrs old child in the flat.
In addition to that, they wanted to charge me the administration fees and 6 weeks deposit even thought I’m moving by the end of June!
This was so disappointing and never will deal with your unprofessional company and never will recommend you to anyone I know because you don’t know what you doing and just after money!!!

This Agency is a complete farce I would not recommend them to anyone. If you are looking to rent a flat through them I'd suggest that you go else where.
When we rented our flat from them 2 years back it was given to us in a complete state. They said that it was professionally clened however the flat reeked of Cat Piss, there was mould on the side of the matress and the landlord had left a load of things behind which was filthy and not cleaned. Since we had already paid the deposit along with a months rent we thought it would be best to simply bite the bullet. It took us 3 days to clean it ourselves and to get rid of the awful stench.
Upon moving out after 2 years the agency was adamant to get us out because we weren't going to renew for another 2 years. They kept doing viewings with very little notice and getting random people into our home to do repairs and DIY jobs.
Then on the day we moved out the inspection clerk was the most horrible person I'd ever dealt with. She was rude and unprofessional. While we were trying to move out and clean the flat she kept asking us to take out dinnerware and the most insignificant things so she can complete her inventory. After taking it out she then asked us to put it back in place, I mean who does this?!!! It was infuriating to say the least. In all my year of renting I have never been treated so poorly, it is appalling that such companies get to treat paying customers like this without any consequence.
There are far better agencies that you could use, KFH, Moss & Co, Marsh and Parsons and many more..

This is the only agency that ask you to pay your reservation fee without knowing what the renting property price is. When the agency shares terms and conditions after the 4th email and even then only some of them. Where agents continuously keep changing your name and always are late for viewing.

Giving a one is so unfortunate as I would give a zero for the service and way Thorgills Brentford, have treated me. I have never felt so abandoned, kicked to the curb and robbed out of so much money.
They don’t tell their clients of their nil deposit scheme, and then when the landlord/lady finds out she decides so not go ahead with the move even though she’s accepted the offer and done all the vetting which was so stressful for me and my family thanks to Haffeeza, in the client support team. She badged on with calls, texts and e-mail to me and my family who were my guarantors. They lie and add on fees where it’s not applicable, rush you through the whole process which is a nightmare and kills the excitement and enjoy for a first time renter like myself and have rude staff who don’t like to do viewings and want everything done my what’s app and FaceTime.
They rush you, push you up against and the wall and pressure you into signing documents and advise you to make offers knowing you don’t match the affordability scale. One of my biggest mistakes is giving Thorgill the opportunity and pleasure to finding an apartment for myself and when you don’t want to move in they threaten you with legal action and tell you that they will ruin your credit score. I am now in a legal battle of getting my money back which is £3500 kept by the manager Simon at Brentford.
I advice you guys out their stay away from Thorgills Brentford, they are full of liars, thieves and disgusting people to talk and deal with. This is coming from a 25 years old who is now terrified to move in to any rented property and I’m not keen of doing it in the future.

Luigi did a fantastic job. He arranged a number of well qualified viewings for us all within the first week. He arrived for each viewing promptly, full of enthusiasm and armed with a good level of knowledge of the building and the local area.
There were two things that helped Luigi stand out beyond this.
Firstly, he was very comprehensive in the viewings he conducted providing buyers with a thorough showing of the flat, the building and communal area surrounding which helped distinguish our property from others in the area.
Secondly. Luigi made the time to provide a good level of feedback to us, including both positive and constructive points, ensuring we are clear on the status of each prospective buyer after a viewing. This was helpful.
Overall, Luigi is great to deal with and got us a good offer in just 7 days. Top job.

As a seller, we were given feedback for each viewing and the whole team has been very professional. We appreciate the realistic approach from Daniel, the branch manager, on the state of the market and Vishaal, one of the three staff who showed viewers of our property, for the updates during the process leading up to the exchange. It is currently a tough housing market, especially in London, but it is noteworthy that because the Thorgills team works longer hours and days than most of their competitions, it is definitely a better bet. I had very bad experience with Thorgills and won't use their services anymore. I liked a house and I paid 500 pounds to take the property off the market, then my offer was accepted and I paid more than 5000 pound deposit to secure new home. At the day that i had to collect the keys and move, it was Friday 17.45pm, i have been told i can't have the home due to some legal issues related to the landlord mortgage. Very unprofessional, Thorgills should have known about these issues before accepting my offer and deposit... Very very disappointed.

They charged us £5000 in advance for the deposit and first month's rent and then on the day we were supposed to get hold of the keys they said the landlord does not accept sharers ?!. Very unprofessional and completely incompetent behaviour ! Avoid like the plague !!!
