They are good value for money with fees that are lower than many other agents. The property was valued a bit too high originally but this was adjusted after discussions with us. I have been searching for a 1 bed flat for my son to rent in the areas near Chiswick by using search engines as we are a 100 miles from London. The best agency we found by far is Quilliam, the staff are super efficient, nothing is too much trouble, polite, courteous and caring, something I have found in short supply in many of the other 'companies' we have tried to deal with. 6 months ago, I rented a flat through Qulliam Property Letting Agency, and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience, especially with Mr Jeremy Hodgson-Coakley.

What a breathe of fresh air ! The personal service not the normal you are just a number ... The viewing was done in a slow take your time manor you are not rushed and left thinking are they going to turn up on time , the paper work phone calls everything done perfect these people rewrite the book when it comes to estate agents. Before instructing Quilliam, we'd met with several local agents. What made us choose Julia and her team was their down to earth, unpretentious, yet positive approach to selling our home. In deciding on the asking price, Julia shared her experience but also listened to us, and we arrived at a buoyant but realistic strategy together. After signing up, the team all visited to familiarise themselves and to understand any unique benefits of our home to help conversations with prospective buyers. After two busy weeks of viewings, we were under offer with a buyer that was excited and committed to buy, that understood our position and was willing to be patient while we worked on our onward purchase. This all lead to a smooth sale right through to completion. Having been unsuccessful selling my property for 9 months through 2 other agents, I switched to Quilliam (who I purchased through originally) and they produced 2 competing offers for me in less than a fortnight. They really understood the pros of the property, which were reflected in the online listing and photos, and matched it to appropriate buyers. The whole team is friendly, helpful and all-round fantastic, and they helped me navigate some tricky logistical snags with my buyer's situation and with my ongoing chain through to completion. Could not have asked for more, and can not recommend highly enough.

I would give negative stars if I could. Avoid avoid avoid. Accuses people of making noise without providing the evidence to back it, and when you confront them about it, they won’t speak to you. Avoid them. They’re the fakest and dodgiest people you’ll meet.
EDIT TO OWNER: You didn’t just approach us though did you? You posted a threatening letter through our door, accusing us of making an outrageous level of noise and then when we tried to communicate back to you at your office in Brentford, Simon cowardly hid behind the office! You are all ridiculous! The most hilarious thing is that we along with our neighbour who was sending in the complaints, recently found out the noise wasn’t coming from our flat anyway! This is why you should’ve checked for evidence of the noise first rather than jumping the gun and hand delivering such a threatening letter when in reality you can’t do anything anyway!

I can highly recommend Quilliam for both renting and selling. They rented my Brentford houseboat on and off for 7 years, and of all the (many) estate agents were always the one to find a tenant. I have just now sold my houseboat with Quilliam - I had her on the market with 3 agents, including a houseboat specialist - and yet again Quilliam were the ones to secure multiple viewings, offers, and the correct buyer. In addition to being great at their jobs they are all lovely! Quilliam are a fantastic letting agent! I have let my flat through them for the past six years and they have always kept me informed and, most importantly, my flat occupied. With Quilliam as my letting agent I was free from hassle and worry but what I most appreciate, is that they are not just fair weather agents. Recently the entire block was declared uninhabitable which was a huge stress for me and no doubt the tenant. However, their good relationships and strong communication kept us all well informed and Simon in particular was always quick to reply to email queries or make himself available on the phone. I have been renting in London for years now and have to say Quilliam’s level of service is definitely better than any other estate agents I have come across and I find them to be genuine. Julia, Simon and the rest of the team have always been extremely helpful and very friendly and have never had any issues. I will be moving out of London next week but if I ever wanted to rent a property in this area again, Quilliam will definitely be 1st on the list.

We rented via Quilliams for just over two years and they were outstanding - everyone was always super friendly and accommodating and because the team work closely together there is always someone who can help out. During our tenancy the washing machine and a tap broke, and both times Quilliam sent out a plumber within 24 hours. Would recommend to anyone!

Poor customer services, taking a long time to sort out maintenance issues, poor communication between agents and negative attitude over issues raised. Do not accept any verbal agreement or arrangement from them as you will pay at the end everything even this was discussed and agreed previously. Avoid to use this agency if possible.

It was a true pleasure to rent our property through this prestigious company. We started the procedures from abroad, and had all the needed information and support. Quilliam's agents were highly skilled, and even during the most stressful times during the letting process, while living in the flat, and after we moved to a different address (during the process of returning the deposit, etc), they were always prompt in their replies and actions, always ready to go the extra mile to assist us in the most professional way.

Quilliam takes incompetents to a new level. It took them 5 attempts to get a tenancy agreement correct. They do not see themselves as being responsible to proofread documents before sending out. I had to point out twice that an unknown 3rd party's details are on my agreement and have real concerns that my personal data may be with someone else in the same fashion. Every year Quilliam fail to get it right and with new regulations on personal data they need to be more careful with their agreements. They charged me a £50 renewal fee and expected me to proofread their work. Unexceptable!
Furthermore, one (or more) of these reviews is written by a person I am actually dealing with at Quilliam who has decided to give the company a 5 star rating!!!

Extremely difficult staff, kept increasing the price once deal was agreed. Utterly rude staff, and didn't keep by their word. And kept changing the price once the memorandums were out.
They'll increase the price over the price of the house at any cost, glad we got away when we could!

I did not know the area when I came to Brentford looking for a flat to buy. Luckily I walked through the doors of Quilliam. Not only were they professional and efficient, one would expect that from an Estate Agent, but they have the knowledge and experience of helping clients find just the right home in Brentford and surrounding areas. They are an independent and local agent, Quilliam's offered me good friendly advice and great service. They know about Council Tax bands and helped me find out my exact service charge, plus a hundred and one other things that come up when buying a property. All in all buying my flat was a lot less stressful by using Quilliam.
Now some years later, Quilliam's are again looking after my flat. I have rented it out and they have found me a good tenant and manage my property for me while I'm away. I know I can rely on Jullia and her team to look after my flat and my interests.
