Delighted with the service provided by Ed, Lewis & Ross at Gilbert & Rose. My husband & I have used Gilbert & Rose before & wouldn’t use any other estate agent in Leigh. We like the transparency of their fixed fee structure along with the way in which they regularly updated us on the progression/feedback of viewings & our sale (once a price was agreed) Ed, Ross & Lewis are professional in the way they work but are also approachable, easy to get on with & importantly, easy to get in touch with quickly. This really worked for us & I think works on the other side of the sale for buyers also (as they’ve found us buyers promptly on two separate properties at competitive prices) I’m not surprised G&R have become a force in Leigh on Sea, particularly over the past 5 years, and we’ll be using them again Kayleigh & David Gough... Do not waste your time or money with company. Yes you might see their boards everywhere but they cannot cope with their workload, and as a result will give you a sub-par service. You will speak to 101 members of the team, and no one will know your property or anything about yourselves as a customer. You do not get feedback after viewings, we only received them when we left the company. As soon as we left this estate agent and swapped, we sold within 10days and the experience could not have been any different. Our appointments we had with the team were cancelled and delayed and generally we were just messed around. Gilbert and Rose damaged our driveway, leaked oil all over it, and attempted to cut corners in attempting to fix it. The company refused to return it to its original condition. As a result, the company made their own team member pay for the repair out of their own wages. Even the directors do not know how to deal or speak to customers. The company as a whole is rude, inefficient and useless. Avoid this estate agents.... Read more
