Glovers didn’t provide a good service. I purchased a property through them and I asked for assurance the vendor was keen to go through the sale, they confirmed he did, but two weeks after Christmas when fees had been paid to solicitors, I was informed the vendor had accepted another offer without any warning or a chance to increase my offer. The way they handle the call was abrupt! I wouldn’t advise buying a property through them. This was a bad experience and the way the staff dealt with it from the start was truly bad. Personally I feel I should have been compensated for my loss.

We recently sold our house with the help of Glovers in Kings Heath and we highly recommend them. They were friendly, helpful, encouraging, professional and ethical throughout. Their price was also highly competitive and we were really impressed with the way they presented the house online, with excellent photos. They were also really helpful in dealing with potential buyers, hosting viewings and especially holding the chain together when there was a delay. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to others.

A really proactive, efficient and positive family run business. The service at Glovers, including Michael, Laura and Emily (along with our excellent landlord) have been a pleasure to work with throughout our rented tenancy, incredibly efficient, professional, fast to respond, easily excusable and they always remember details to ask you about as an added touch. I selected Glovers estate agents since they were prompt and efficient in valuing my property and providing a clear and fair quotation for sale. They are a family run local firm and it was clear they understood the market for large Victorian properties in the area. They swept into action, to have details, photos and EPC sorted and the house on the market in less than a week and the property sold at the full asking price.
They were pro active throughout the process and assisted communications through the chain to gain completion. As a family run firm, all staff are aware and pleased to assist as necessary, nothing is too much trouble. Overall, they are perhaps not as glossy as some of the other agents, but they make up for this in their commitment and professionalism.

Glovers are an experienced family team and they are committed to achieving effective marketing and communication. Their quote and valuation were competitive and they took care of all of the issues extremely promptly to deliver the sale. The whole team are excellent in communication and they assisted in chasing the various parties and solicitors to get the chain to work. I will use them again, they may not be the most glossy firm, but they are honest, prompt and pro-active and I recommend them.

I was looking to rent a property at the end of last year and dealt with several estate agents in Kings Heath. Glovers were by far the worst. My partner and I jumped through all their administrative hoops filling in tenancy applications and then didn't hear back from them at all. Every time I contacted the office I was told the agent handling our property was busy but would contact us soon. They never did, not even to let us know our application had been unsuccessful, we only realised we were no longer being considered once their website listed the property as let agreed. Truly the most unprofessional service I have ever received, especially compared to the excellent service Heritage and several other local agencies gave, even in unsuccessful applications on rentals.
I'm sure Glovers will reply to this message saying that without me giving my details my review is 'not valid' but I do not wish to discuss it with them any further. I just suggest any prospective renters use a company that doesn't treat then with such contempt.
EDIT: As you can see below glovers has treated my complaints with utter dismissal again. Apparently expecting better service makes me a 'keyboard warrior'; this is genuine feedback and they are using every reason they can to ignore it rather than learn. A real shame.

Glover’s went above and beyond in their service to sell our home during difficult pandemic conditions.
They were polite, professional and prompt in dealing with the many questions we had about the sales process and kept us well informed of how our sale was progressing. It was reassuring to know that whom ever we spoke to on the team, knew who we were and about our property.
I would recommend Glover’s to anyone looking to sell in the B14 and surrounding areas as a local, knowledgable estate agent.

Dear Emily,
We have been contacting you all day waiting for you to respond and you choose to email us back when its closing time and we cant contact you over the phone. We had no issues over the construction and just wanted to enquire about it. You told us our offer was accepted and we were just waiting till tomorrow for the rest of the funds to be transferred and then went back on our offer and booked our mortgage application. This is poor communication and bad representation of your company. When you are agree on a sale with someone please stick with it as business rule if you have any.Thank you

I highly recommend Glovers. When my mother died we had various Estate Agents to provide us with an estimate of the value of the house. All of the other Estate Agents just viewed the house as just a standard 3 bedroom semi. Jacob the valuer not only examined the house but also the land associated with it and the potential that the house had, for extending, building garages etc. He was the only valuer who did that and valued the house accordingly.
We initially sold the house very quickly, but that sale fell through (nothing to do with Glovers). However, they kept a file of previous interested parties and the house was sold again very quickly.
As the house was unoccupied and we live along way from B’ham, they would go and keep an eye on the place. Glovers provided us with various trades people who they dealt with as the house needed surveying and some repairs carried out. All the trades people were good, reliable and reasonable priced. Glovers also acted as key holders and went and let trades people in.
The sales and after sales team are very pleasant and efficient, keeping us informed and of any issues or developments. (My parents bought the house in 1964 before land registry, so we had to contend with that process. Which Glovers were only to happy to assist with).
A great Estate Agents and I’m glad we went with them.

I had bought a house through Glovers and now sold the same house through Glovers.Today when many people are choosing the online agent, I think this firm is a better choice than that, as you get help, and input when there 's a situation of doubt in your mind. They also have useful removal firms and gas engineers etc, to call upon if needed. Everyone there is upbeat and helpful, lovely people. I had support and help all along from all the team though one particular agent will probably be mostly handling your case. Jacob initially help in selecting a buyer that would be the right buyer for me, not wanting to get involved a a complicated chain. There was a lot of interest in the house but all at Glovers helped to dovetail the appointments, and so the viewings were all done within about a week before being able to get a good offer and accept it. My patience wore a bit thin very near the end as the buyer was very slow to move their process along, but with help from Michael talking it through with the lawyers and the other estate agents involved, the process was finalised to everyone's ' satisfaction. I think they are great value for money, I recommend them, and I would use them again.

In each situation, Glovers have been polite, professional, friendly, efficient & competent. I wish we'd been able to use them when we tried to sell our house in Leeds.

I instructed Glovers to sell my property in March 2016. I had many agents in but was very impressed with Jacob as soon as I met him.I was impressed with his approach and honesty. I decided to go with Glovers after making a visit to their office. The staff were very friendly and always were available when you needed to speak to them.
I sold my property a few weeks later and was so impressed with the service even after a sale was agreed. The staff were dedicated and gave a first class service. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a dedicated, friendly, committed estate agent who will deliver.

All the team at Glovers are amazing. We purchased our house from an horrendous moron of a landlord who was difficult to deal with and made the transaction as difficult as possible. Glovers offered us helpful advice and were extremely supportive whilst maintaining a professional approach. Compared to pretty much every other estate agent we spoke to, they are actually decent people!
