Nicola was the complete professional, friendly and well informed about the area so able to suggest a clear marketing strategy if I was to go ahead with sale. Also offered advice on what would be required (or not) in order to achieve the best for the property. Still deciding whether to go ahead, but would be more than to use their services or recommend.

Following a change of employment from Lancashire to Cumbria, relocation was my preferred option but properties I’d found online weren’t suitable or had been snapped up online before I had chance to view them.
I approached Grisdales and the staff at Whitehaven and Cockermouth offices were very helpful. Alison in the Cockermouth office knew the type of property I wanted, location and budget. She found the ideal place, arranged a convenient viewing time and managed to get the keys to me a few weeks earlier than planned.

My experience with Grisdales was through buying a property, the viewing went very well, on time, friendly and knowledgeable, very friendly and professional throughout, I used a solicitor and surveyor they recommended, both of which were top class, if I were selling I would certainly use Grisdales as my No.1 choice, anybody I know who has bought a property always have a problem with the sign never being removed, mine was removed promptly, causing me to walk past my house coming back from the shops, until I got my bearings I looked for the sign to know which was my house!!!

Push you towards using an expensive national EPC company, find local cheaper. Did not contact me at all from May completion in August. Did sell within a week but then did I get value for money? Couple of grand spent. Final nail in the coffin, new owners popped some mail into the office to pass it on and Grisedales refused to take it in for us to collect. Not a considerate or helpful company, look someplace else.

Grisdales are a local estate agency who provide excellent professional service with a really warm local feel. We really would say they provide a complete comprehensive knowledgable house selling and also house renting service. We can’t recommend them highly enough. Their costs are transparent and they have different tiers of provision which are clear.

Absolutely brilliant from day one.
I switched to Grisdales, (Cockermouth branch), from another agent because I'd not had much interest on my house for months. I had viewings with Grisdales within a matter of weeks and an offer before the end of the year. The pictures of my house were brilliant.
Always really friendly and professional no matter who you speak to in the office and they couldn't do enough for me to help me through my sale.
