We have been delighted with the service we have received from Hamptons Blackheath during the purchase and sale of our respective properties. The agents are responsive, patient and excellent problem solvers. Special shout out to Kat and Joe who have been hugely helpful during the process. We would definitely recommend them to other local property buyers or sellers.... Read more

Me and my family were in a uncomfortable and complex situation trying to find a house with a tight deadline. We were in touch with other agents but we know how many times we are just a number for them, but Sam was the only agent who gave the right attention to our case trying to do his best to understand our needs and offer the best possibilities. Even that we didn’t find the right property today, we definitely will get in touch with him in the future.... Read more

Hands down the best agency in London. Even though I was looking for a place to rent from another country, the process was smooth and communication was clear. Special mention to Sam! He always made sure that the whole process was smooth for me and also in making sure that I got the perfect place for me! I would highly recommend this to anyone!... Read more

I want and need to thank the team in general and Sam Hawkins specifically. I'm new to renting and had move out of the family home following the breakdown of my marriage. Sam was incredibly patient with me and was never once swayed by my frustrations and anxiety. Best of all he worked to find me a great place from which to gather myself and step into the next chapter of my life.
Heart felt thanks!

Always been hesitant when it comes to big agencies and how they typically operate. However, Hamptons Blackheath more importantly Sam! Absolute legend has helped me with my move from start to finish and put up my constant texts at all hours of the day. Sam thank you, and thanks to the wider team for all you’ve done, you’ve been integral in making the boy extremely happy.... Read more

Simon Humm from Hamptons Blackheath was condescending and dismissive when he came to value our flat. He gave a ridiculously-low valuation telling us that the decorations looked old-fashioned and would put buyers off.
Fortunately we went with another local agent who sold our property for significantly more than Hampton's valuation and after only 6 weeks.
Be careful of agents giving suspiciously low valuations. It can be a sign that they want to buy the property cheaply either for themselves or for one of their associates. I've heard this is a common trick, often targeted at the elderly and vulnerable.... Read more

Very pushy when we put an offer on a flat initially. The agent lied and told me we would receive the security deposit back if we decided to pull out (naive of me I know, but was still deceptive behaviour to push the transaction through from them).... Read more

The market is slow so there’s not much interest but there’s a lack of client management and communication. Agents here just pretty much sit around for the call. When the market is slow they don’t really do anything to push things along. This is not just Hamptons but more an observation of real estate agents in general.... Read more

Applied twice for a viewing for a £1+million property in Catford (...) plus filling out a 10min questionnaire taking -unnecessarily- lots of our personal details. Not even a response. Must be very busy? ps: we only consider properties we can afford LOL... Read more

Property listings are matched to data from the Land Registry by our clever algorithm. Clever as it may be, it isn't always right, especially if a property was listed by multiple agents. The asking price is the original listing price, NOT the final listing price.
