From offer to completion took only about 8-9 weeks, in no small part due to her willingness to chase for information and make sure everyone had whatever was needed to proceed. We bought a flat through Greene & Co. 7 years ago which left a bad aftertaste, so we finally wanted to share. The actual viewing and sales negotiation process was fine, responsive and friendly as you'd expect from highly incentivised sales staff. The problem started at the final stage, the key handover.
One set of keys was missing (the set they had used for doing viewings). This included a key to the flat (which we could get recut) as well as a key fob to get entry to the building (which was not possible to replace/deactivate). Despite all their 'key logging' systems and procedures they were unable to locate the keys.
This in itself we could have lived with, as mistakes can happen, but the way that they behaved around it showed a lack of respect for their customers (us as well as the sellers) and a dishonesty which we found appalling. It took multiple Emails, phone calls and even a discussion with the manager to finally get them to agree that they made a mistake and reimburse us for having to change the lock and get new keys. During this very uncomfortable ordeal they tried to shift blame to anyone but themselves, and even had the audacity to suggest that "everyone changes the lock when they buy a new place, so we assumed you'd do the same and would have no use for the keys anymore". We had to inform them that we trusted the sellers 100% and therefore had not planned on changing the lock.
We would expect any estate agent to live up to the trust placed in them when people hand over the keys to their property, so this lack of responsibility and dismissiveness meant we decided never to use them for future engagements, despite the good work of their frontline staff.

About a month ago I sold my flat through Greene & Co in Crouch End. I had previously put my flat on the market through another well-known national estate agency and it had been a complete waste of time - since they did very little to sell the flat. I had assumed that all estate agents were the same but the difference between that agency and Greene & Co was considerable.
Greene & Co did a great job. All the staff worked very hard to market and sell my flat. However, three names stand out for special commendation. Lee Goodchild, Summer Preston and the absolutely marvellous Cheryl Brown.
Lee went well beyond the call of duty to keep me informed on what was going on in relation to the sale. My son is autistic and so the viewings were a concern to me as he finds the disruption challenging. Summer managed the viewings sympathetically and competently. She was incredibly diligent and determined. When the first offer fell through, she worked tirelessly to find a new buyer and helped negotiate the right price that was acceptable to both sides.
As for Cheryl – her work was exceptional, particularly during the period between offer and exchange. She liaised with solicitors on both sides giving me information that really helped. She always returned my calls even when I was pestering her and being a bit irrational about the sale. Solicitors can be very slow in relation to house passing on info, without Cheryl it is unlikely that the sale would have gone through. Her knowledge and her steadiness through the process was invaluable. Nowadays in a tough market, the job of selling a property does not end when an offer is made. It is to Greene & Co’s credit that they realise this and have somebody like Cheryl there to navigate through this period
I have recently discovered that her job title is “sales progressor” - how apt. If I ever have to sell my property again, I would not consider selling with any agency that does not have someone with this brief. To be honest – wherever Cheryl is working I will go there.

They said our landlord was a family, it is a cash-for-property company who don't care about us. They said they would sort out so many things we saw on the viewing, they never did. They got the deposit amount wrong by £400. They rushed us because they didn't want to get a ticket. They rang us angry that we were late when they had the wrong time to pick up the keys, so they rushed us again and lied about what we were signing, saying it was just the key acceptance when it was for the inventory. AWEFUL!

I have been looking around for a few months for a flat and have had really good experiences with other agents, but have had an awful experience with George from the Crouch end office. He didn’t call back when he said he would and was rude when I needed him to be a negotiator on the lease. I wouldn’t use Green and Co to the point where I paid another agency admin fees when Green and Co was offering no admin fees- just so I wouldn’t need to work with George.

I can't speak highly enough of Summer and the team at the Crouch End branch of Green and Co. While in the midst of a disaster experience with another estate agent we received a cute tea towel through the door with all the local streets in our area along with a gentle note saying if we needed help selling our flat give them a call. From the cool marketing through to the initial consultation and eventual sale of our property (within 1 month our flat was sold) the sales team were friendly, professional and pro-active. We managed to complete the purchase exactly ONE month after our first viewing, thanks to the effort all parties put forth. Our own mortgage advisor was on maternity leave so they (special thanks to James) got us in touch with one of the most efficient mortgage advisors we have ever met. Katie called me to give the good news about our offer being accepted and she was so kind, genuinely sharing the excitement with me on the phone. This is a terrible estate agent to be with while renting a property. Lived in a house for three years with many problems. These problems would be ignored for weeks and months after many requests from each tenant. Our bedroom was so mouldy one year and it took six months to be sorted where I had multiple chest infections. This problem reoccurred each winter. To solve the problem a trench had been dug in the garden to stop the damp. When the builder had personal issues and could not finish the job there was no arrangement to replace him, so that trench was there for six months also.
Now we have moved out we have still had three emails asking for a renewal fee after replying each time that we did not renew and have moved out. Staff are very incompetent and unhelpful and if you can avoid using them I suggest you do.

Absolutely the worst agency I've ever dealt with. Our landlord sold the house while we were still living there(without telling us) and even though we had no heating or hot water in the middle of the winter the agency refused to provide any help or assistance. Now they want more money for extending of the contract even though they're not even managing our property anymore!

We moved in few days ago. Nice little flat, as advertised on the Greene & Co, agency site. Mr Shakir, was the agent who took care, of our moving process. We've got what he advertised, and promised about the flat. He even helped us, with moving some of our stuff all the way into the flat. which is a very rare thing, for a nowadays estate agent. We then popped into his car, and took us around Crouch End. 2 minute by car from where we live. He gave us some info details, about the local life, and all the good shops and bakeries around. We are very happy, about the flat, the area, and will recommend for sure. Great service, great experience. Very professional indeed, Way above five stars!

A steady four stars, on the grounds that there is always room for improvement, but overall the service was good. I would have preferred a single main contact, for simplicity and that was the cause of one or two minor frustrations, early in the process. But once we had our buyer, James emerged as the sole contact. He was conscientious and knowledgeable and continued to be of help throughout the conveyancing period. My wife and I thought the original valuation a little optimistic and we were happy to authorize an early reduction and then to accept what we considered a perfectly reasonable offer, somewhere below that. In short, we found Greene & Co. pleasant agreeable and efficient. And they got the job done.

Having originally purchased our flat via an online agency and found the negotiations to be a stressful and unpleasant experience without an agent to handle it, we chose to use Greene and Co. for our sale and found it a much less stressful and drawn out experience.
Andrew did a brilliant job of handling our sale. He is a good people-person and negotiator, and we were impressed with his ability to explain both sides' perspectives to each other. He was efficient in dealing with our enquiries and returned our calls promptly. He showed us kindness well beyond the call of duty and was a firm favourite with our little toddler, who called him "An-ew" excitedly whenever he came round!
James also did a great job of drumming up interest in our flat and getting to know the finer details of our property. Although he didn't handle our sale, he was helpful, friendly and efficient in passing on messages etc.
Summer is an impressive manager who clearly loves managing a well-run estate agency. We chose to put our faith in her due to her positivity and the strength of reviews of previous clients, and she and her team have lived up to our expectations.
Estate agents don't always have the best reputation but Summer, Andrew and James all stood out to us as decent, kind people who worked hard to help us sell our place. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or to use them again in future.

We have endured a living nightmare renting a managed property from Greene and Co since December 2016 (106A stapleton hall road). They let us move in to a flat that had a giant hole in the roof (in winter!!), none of the light bulbs working, a temperamental shower, a broken oven and our storage areas full of the previous tenants belongings. Without telling us.
The ceiling has collapsed a further 2 times while we've been in the house. Every contractor they have sent round has done a terrible job and damaged the property and our personal belongings further, leaving us to clean up their mess. When asked why we weren't told before moving in that there was a hole in the roof, the property manager's answer was "it's not my fault" and "I've never been to the property so I didn't know". It took 3 months just to get them to remove the rubble from the roof that the contractors left all over our garden. Also 3 months to fix all the lightbulbs, and even then they were done to a poor standard. The previous tenants belongings are still in the house despite us asking endlessly to have them removed. The first property management person we dealt with was one of the rudest, most unprofessional and incompetent person I have ever dealt with.
The second person has been better but she is obviously stumped by the fact that there is clearly a complete disregard for tenants within the company - it's all about money for them. The only compensation we've received was after months and months of fighting, we got our admin fees back. It's a total joke of a company, they don't seem to understand that a poor living situation can ruin someone's life. I feel so so bad for the next set of people who are going to live in this flat, because I imagine once again Greene & Co will say anything to get them to sign on the dotted line, without a care in the world for what will happen to them next.
Now they're trying to say we're going to lose some of our deposit for painting a wall that was already like that when we moved in, and for damage to the property. What a joke.
Do not rent with them, do not let them manage your property. Crooks.

I dealt with Ersin for my property search. I have to say that I have generally had a bad experience with most estate agents. Ersin is the exception to the rule as he was exceptional. This time last year ( 2015 ) my property went on the market with Green & Co at their North London branch Crouch End. I was so nervous. Selling your home can be a stressful and daunting experience especially if it's your first time selling like myself but these agents made me feel confident and relaxed and the process from making that first call to signing the contract to going onto the advertising market went very smoothly and comfortably. I didn't have to worry about anything.
The photos looked so lovely and were taken by a professional photographer which can make a whole lot of difference for the presentation of your property, we all want our homes to look their best especially when we want to sell and Green & Co will certainly do that for you. Their advertising presentation was perfect in my opinion and there was nothing that I wanted/needed to change and I can be quite picky.
My property went live on the Tuesday late June 2015 and by the end of the week I had accepted an offer, I could not believe it I had to keep pinching myself at how quickly they found me a buyer.
What I can say about the agents at Green & Co is that they don't just work for you they work with you and build a plan that works around what you need and how you want to sell which is very important for you as the client as you want agents to go at a pace that you are comfortable with and you also want agents that listen to you, well these agents do just that. They are really on the ball and work hard to get those viewers lined up for you.
I have experienced other agents and I can honestly say that Green & Co are my favorite. They don't pressure you they will ease any concerns you may have about the whole property selling/buying process. I would definitely strongly recommend these agents to sell your property and for those of you that are first time sellers or worried sellers then Green & Co are exactly what you need. These guys and gals don't just enjoy their job they seriously are very good at their job.

I have recently been on the 'House Hunt' with my Partner Dan and 10 week old baby Ruby and am really happy to say we received outstanding personalised service from Olivia Gelsier Crouch End.
After seeing a property online I contacted Yourselves and spoke to Olivia, after describing the kind of place we were looking for Olivia said she had some lovely properties for us to view and booked us in for the next day to see 2 different flats, she gave me choice and flexibility of when to view and felt she really listened to what our criteria was, what I also really liked was that Olivia was interested in our little girl, asking how old she was and said that she was looking forward to meeting her, a lovely personal touch to her service!
Before even viewing the 2 properties Olivia had already sent an additional flat for me to look at and booked us in for that too. When we met she greeted us with a friendly smile and handshake and instantly commented on how lovely out little girl was.. A really lovely welcome!
As we viewed the properties Olivia gave us further 2 properties as options and took us to see them there and then, I felt like she was going above and beyond to find the right place for us.
So far the properties weren't quite right, As our criteria was quite specific my partner mentioned that he felt that we were being a bit unrealistic and maybe we wouldn't find the perfect place, Olivia reassured us that there was definitely the right place we just had to find it, this put my mind at rest and gave us confidence that we would find somewhere. At each viewing she listened to what we liked, didn't like and even went to car to grab a tape to measure the rooms.
In the end Olivia did find a beautiful flat, perfect for us, however due to landlord requirements we weren't able to take it (no young children) the same day another estate agents foubd another property that we Liked however it wasn't 100% that we could take it due to move dates, after explaining this Olivia carried on serarching for us incase it fell through, again excellent service!
I know I've gone into a lot of detail, however it's the small things that often matter for excellent Service and felt that Oliva made the dread of house hunting not so dreadful. I can't recommend Ersin Mehmet highly enough. Ersin made buying our first home possible. It made a huge difference working with such a honest reliable Real Estate Agent, he talked us through the whole process and it was never difficult for him to answer questions or go above and beyond of what was expected. Ersin was not only prompt and efficient at getting things done he also did it with passion and enjoyment which certainly puts your mind at ease in a process that is very stressful and at times lengthy. We had a few issue's along the way and he stuck with us and showed true commitment to our sale. I work long hours and it was never an issue for Ersin to discuss things with me late at night or even on Sunday's which really put my mind at ease and meant I didn't have to chase answers all day. When there was an issue Ersin sat down with us straight away to find a solution and discuss options. He kept on top of both Solicitors to keep the sale ticking along because as first home buyers you can be lost at times but having someone you can trust and is loyal to the task took a huge amount of pressure of us and he always made sure we knew what the next stage of the sale was and what it intailed. I would also like to thank Amelia, we didn't work with her much but when we did she was efficient, answered questions quickly and helped keep things ticking along. Buying a house is one of the biggest things you will do in your life and buying your first house can be very daunting, I can honestly say Ersin certainly made this experience a more enjoyable and reassuring one.Once again a big thank you to Ersin and his team for making our jump onto the property ladder possible.

We set up a meeting with Sofia Williams on Saturday 14th May. Sofia planned to show us 3 properties in total all with our requested criteria. Sofia also took us to an additional property that we were extremely impressed with. Although we did not make any offers due to personal circumstances we found Sofia extremely professional and we built a very good relationship throughout the day. She even pushed back her other viewings to ensure she gave us her full divided attention. Sofia answered all questions thoroughly and gave us time to look around each property. Sofia was extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with throughout. After I had made contact with the office and she was signed to show me some rental options, she went to a lot of trouble to arrange a set of viewings at one time to accommodate me, and when I chose a place, facilitated the negotiation with the landlord quickly and successfully. She was very helpful and responded rapidly to emails and messages. She did go on holiday between the rental agreement being signed and my moving in, and the agency back-up system was not as effective as I'd have liked. This was not of course her fault. I would definitely approach her again if I need an estate agency service in Crouch End.

I was relocating my family from overseas (including a dog), and Joshua was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Getting a landlord comfortable with a dog was a real challenge in the London rental market, but Joshua was able to get it done. Being completely new to the rental process in London, he also helped me throughout and was a very warm host when we finally arrived. He took the time to give personal advice on where to shop, eat, etc. I would definitely recommend him and Green & Co for any housing need. Five stars!

I recently bought a property through Greene and Co Crouch End and have to say, of several house/flat buying experiences, this has been by far my most positive. Every person I dealt with in the office was extremely helpful. Open, honest, professional and transparent from the initial viewing, to assisting with my solicitors due dil Q&A, to aligning the conveyancing and ultimately ensuring that despite problems [my solicitor losing my signed contract..another story] I got in the property on the date we agreed. Many thanks to Summer's team and also thanks to George for advice on the rental prospects of the property [though I decided to move in in the end]. A high bar, other agents could well take note.

Our experience with Greene and Co’s Olivia Geisler has been the best experience we’ve ever had with an estate agent; Olivia was absolutely fantastic – friendly and knowledgeable, she showed us properties that were exactly what we were looking for. Throughout our property search, it really felt as if she went the extra mile - she only emailed us new properties which fitted our requirements exactly, and she always responded to emails quickly and warmly. Overall, I had an unpleasant experience with Greene & Co. We moved in to one of their properties early 2014 and lived there for 18 months. In the very beginning everything seemed great, the staff was polite and professional. But when all the contracts were signed and we started living in the property, every time we (me and my partner) tried to communicate with our property manager regarding any queries, we had to chase for up to 5 days for a reply and only after cc'ing senior managers in the emails, we would get a reply.
We had to wait for weeks, sometimes MONTHS for issues to get fixed, even though it states on their website that Urgent Queries are dealt with within a few days.
Once our pipes got blocked and we were unable to use the washing machine and kitchen sink for over 6 weeks. We had to take all of our clothes to the cleaners (at out expense, only once the landlord offered us £ 20.00 as gesture of goodwill, how Greene and Co put it) and wash the pots and pans in the bathroom sink. For 6 weeks in a tiny bathroom sink!!! This issue was dealt with absolutely unprofessionally, we had to chase and call and still we would get a reply weeks later only to hear Greene and Co blame the building managers. Also, in the end when the boiler company did come in, our manager from Greene & Co didn't inform us beforehand so we came home from work to see our front doors being wide open with 2 people working but we didn't prepare, put our valuables away etc. I find it extremely unprofessional for a letting agency.
Often, I would send an email and the property manager would just say that she didn't receive it, or received only photos without any text. This is just silly, I didn't believe it once, because all other emails did come through, it was only the unpleasant ones that "got lost". Once, my boyfriend called their landline in the office and the Property Manager said she can't talk because she is out on a property with a client. That was highly unbelievable as well.
One other thing is that it is stated in the contract that the landlord or representative from Greene & Co can come in after giving us a 24 hour notice. Only once or twice we were given that notice, otherwise at least 10 times they just called us 20 minutes before the landlord was there so we had no choice but to approve. I understand that there are different circumstances but I had a feeling that our opinion never mattered for them at all.
Also, a lot of times when I sent an email, the property manager misspelled my name. It's not that it's that important, it just left a bad aftertaste and a feeling of disrespect. She called me "Alicia, Anna, Alison, Elisa" and at one point it just started to seem rude, especially because my name is in my signature.
I would rate Greene & Co with 2 Stars, rather than 1 because "Hated" is a strong word. But every time I think of the 6 weeks of washing pots in the bathroom... You guys are awful and 1 star is all you get.

Marcelle is the sort of sales' negotiator who makes you want to buy from Greene and Co - I've never in my life had an estate agent understand how important it is to get to know their buyer. She seems genuinely interested in placing us in our ideal home. Although we have only viewed 2 properties with her so far, I ask for her by name as she knows what we're after. I favour viewings with Greene and Co above any other in London as a result of her care and attention and I would be thrilled if we were able to buy through Greene and Co.

During the viewing stage of selling, Greene & Co. worked very well as a team. The whole office were focused on marketing our home, and this resulted in a lot of viewings and interested buyers. The marketing brochure and images they produced were great. They have a structured review/feedback system, which also worked well for providing comfort for myself and my partner. During the sale, Marcelle really helped with our sale. She managed to hold a very tricky sale together. She was more than happy to regularly talk to the solicitors, the buyer and myself, and she was always available. I have worked with Greene and Co several times since our initial contact in 2008 when Summer Preston sold my house for me in a volatile market place and secured me a very strong price.
Since then I have continued to give Greene and co my business on both the sales and lettings side and have not been disappointed.
I have recently dealt with Alfie Sofia and Chris on the lettings team as they have rented my house for me, I have been happy throughout with the service and will definitely use them again when these tenants move out if they decide to leave the palace,

In my opinion really unprofessional. Prices are always higher than elsewhere and when I let them know the front door lock needed replacing due to wear and tear, I was told "I hope you have contents insurance?" Would never ever use again. I felt they would try and charge you for everything.
Large admin fee as well.
Took nearly 2 months to get my deposit back. I still haven't received a breakdown of the charges. Tenancy agreement said 10 days to notify about deductions but Greene and Co did not care. Makes the Tenancy agreement worthless.
Avoid at all costs.
